Microseismic source location using deep learning:A coal mine case study in China

Microseismic source location is crucial for the early warning of rockburst ***,the conventional methods face challenges in terms of the microseismic wave velocity and arrival time *** techniques,such as the full convolutional neural network(FCNN),can capture spatial information but struggle with complex microseismic *** the FCNN with the long shortterm memory(LSTM)network enables better time-series signal classification by integrating multiscale information and is therefore suitable for waveform *** LSTM-FCNN model does not require extensive data preprocessing and it simplifies the microseismic source location through feature *** this study,we utilized the LSTM-FCNN as a regression learning model to locate the seismic ***,the method of short-time-average/long-time-average(STA/LTA)arrival time picking was employed to augment spatiotemporal ***,oversampling the on-site data was performed to address the issue of data imbalance,and finally,the performance of LSTM-FCNN was ***,we compared the LSTM-FCNN model with previous deep-learning *** results demonstrated remarkable location capabilities with a mean absolute error(MAE)of only 7.16 *** model can realize swift training and high accuracy,thereby significantly improving risk warning of rockbursts.

Natural history of persistent subretinal fluid following the successful repair of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment

As the brightest gamma-ray burst ever observed,GRB 221009A provided a precious opportunity to explore spectral line *** this article,we performed a comprehensive spectroscopy analysis of GRB 221009A jointly with GECAM-C and Fermi/GBM data to search for emission and absorption *** the first time we investigated the line feature throughout this GRB including the most bright part where many instruments suffered problems,and identified prominent emission lines in multiple time *** central energy of the Gaussian emission line evolves from about 37 to 6 MeV,with a nearly constant ratio(about 10%)between the line width and central ***,we find that both the central energy and the energy flux of the emission line evolve with time as a power law decay with power law index of–1 and–2,*** suggest that the observed emission lines most likely origin from the blue-shifted electron positron pair annihilation 511 ke V *** find that a standard high latitude emission scenario cannot fully interpret the observation,thus we propose that the emission line comes from some dense clumps with electron positron pairs traveling together with the *** this scenario,we can use the emission line to directly,for the first time,measure the bulk Lorentz factor of the jet(Γ)and reveal its time evolution(i.e.,Γ~t^(-1))during the prompt ***,we find that the flux of the annihilation line in the co-moving frame keeps *** discoveries of the spectral line features shed new and important lights on the physics of GRB and relativistic jet.

Effects of different LEDs light spectrum on the growth,leaf anatomy,and chloroplast ultrastructure of potato plantlets in vitro and minituber production after transplanting in the greenhouse

light spectrum plays an important role in regulating the growth and development of in vitro cultured potato(Solanum tuberosum L.) plantlets. The status of potato plantlets at the end of in vitro stage influences the minituber production after transplanting. With 100 μmol m^-2s^-1 total photosynthetic photon flux density(PPFD), a light spectrum study of 100% red light emitting diodes(LEDs) light spectrum(RR), 100% blue LEDs light spectrum(BB), 65% red+35% blue LEDs light spectrum(RB), and 45% red+35% blue+20% green LEDs light spectrum(RBG) providing illumination at the in vitro cultured stage of potato plantlets for 4 weeks using fluorescent lamp as control(CK) was performed to investigate the effects of LEDs light spectrum on the growth, leaf anatomy, and chloroplast ultrastructure of potato plantlets in vitro as well as the minituber yield after 2 months transplanting in the greenhouse. Compared to CK, RB and RBG promoted the growth of potato plantlets in vitro with increased stem diameter, plantlet fresh weight, plantlet dry weight, and health index. Furthermore, BB induced the greatest stem diameter as well as the highest health index in potato plantlets in vitro. Root activity, soluble protein, and free amino acid were also significantly enhanced by BB, whereas carbohydrates were improved by RR. In addition, thickness of leaf, palisade parenchyma and spongy parenchyma was significantly increased by BB and RBG. Chloroplasts under BB and RBG showed well-developed grana thylakoid and stroma thylakoid. Unexpectedly, distinct upper epidermis with greatest thickness was induced and palisade parenchyma and spongy parenchyma were arranged neatly in RR. After transplanting in the greenhouse for 2 months, potato plantlets in vitro from BB, RB, and RBG produced high percentage of large size tuber. Sodium butyrate protects against focal cerebral ischemic injury through regulation of the nuclear receptor Nur77

Focal cerebral ischemia is a major cardiovascular disease that seriously threatens human health. Sodium butyrate has been identified as a neuromodulator in cerebral ischemia but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. The present study aimed to clarify the neuronal anti-inflammatory mechanisms of sodium butyrate against focal cerebral ischemia. A focal cerebral ischemic rat model was established by administering sodium butyrate prior to middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). The neuroprotective effects of sodium butyrate were evaluated 24 h after MCAO， using neurological score， infarction volume， and inflammatory biomarkers as the criteria. The expressions of nuclear receptor subfamily 4 group A1 (Nur77)， nod-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3)， caspase-1 and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) in brain tissues were also analyzed. To explore the role of sodium butyrate in Nur77/NLRP3-mediated inflammatory response， oxygen and glucose deprivation (OGD)-stimulated HT22 cells were treated with sodium butyrate and siNur77. Sodium butyrate treatment significantly attenuated neurological impairment and neuroinflammation induced by cerebral ischemia. Sodium butyrate-mediated dysregulation of Nur77 expression and production of NLRP3-related inflammatory factors were observed in cerebral ischemia in vivo and in vitro. In addition， Nur77 was identified as a negative regulator of NLRP3 in HT22 cells under OGD. The results indicate that the anti-inflammatory effect of sodium butyrate was achieved by upregulating Nur77 expression， which subsequently suppressed neuronal NLRP3-mediated inflammatory response. Overall， sodium butyrate clearly has a neuroprotective effect against focal cerebral ischemia by modulating Nur77/NLRP3-mediated inflammatory response.

Poly(vinylidene fluoride)/Clay Nanocomposites by Melt Compounding

The crystalline structures, morphologies, and mechanical properties of poly（vinylidene fluoride）/clay nanocomposites were studied using X-ray diffraction（XRD）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）, polarized optical microscopy（POM）, and tensile tests. The results of XRD and TEM show that organoclays are dispersed in the poly（vinylidene fluoride）（PVDF） matrix. A clay-induced crystal transformation from α-phase to β-phase of PVFD was confirmed by XRD and FTIR. Clay layers restricted the growth of spherulite. The tensile tests indicate that the tensile modulus and yield strength as well as the elongation at break decrease when clay is loaded.
