A model that,scheduling a set,of stochastic jods on a single machine that is subject to breakdorwn and repair is *** model assumes that a significant set-up time,which is an arbitrary variable,is when the machine changes from processing one of jobs to another *** job i is being processed, the prooessing time of job i,uptime and reparied time of the machine are all general random variables. For both preemptive resume model and preemptive repeat model,we find the optimal polices that minimize the following objective functions:(1)the {2.ghted sum of the completion times;(2.the {2.ghted number of late jobs having random dud dates with exponential distributions.

Fault detection and diagnosis(FDD)of heating,ventilation,and air conditioning(HVAC)systems can help to improve the energy saving in building energy ***,most data-driven trained FDD models have limited generalizability and can only be applied to specific *** diversity of HVAC systems and the high cost of data acquisition present challenges for the practical application of *** learning technology can be employed to mitigate this problem by training a model on systems with sufficient data and then transfer it to other systems with limited *** this study,a novel transfer learning approach for HVAC FDD is ***,the transformer model is modified to incorporate one encoder and two decoders connected,enabling two *** modified transformer model accommodates absent features in the target domain and serves as a robust foundation for transfer *** has effective performance in complex systems and achieves an accuracy of 91.38%for a system with 16 faults and multiple fault severity ***,the adapter-based parameter-efficient transfer learning method,facilitating the transfer of trained models simply by inserting small adapter modules,is investigated as the transfer learning *** demonstrate that this adapter-based transfer learning approach achieves satisfactory performance similar to full fine-tuning with fewer trainable *** works well with limited data amount in target ***,the findings highlight the significance of adapters positioned near the bottom and top layers,emphasizing their critical role in facilitating successful transfer learning.

In recent years,the gap between the supply and demand of medical radioisotopes has increased,necessitating new methods for producing medical *** reactions based on gamma sources have unique advantages in terms of producing high specific activity and innovative medical ***,the lack of experimental data on reaction cross sections for photonuclear reactions of medical radioisotopes of interest has severely limited the development and production of photonuclear transmutation medical *** this study,the entire process of the generation,decay,and measurement of medical radioisotopes was simulated using online gamma activation and offline gamma measurements combined with a shielding gamma-ray *** on a quasi-monochromatic gamma beam from the Shanghai Laser Electron Gamma Source(SLEGS),the feasibility of this measurement of production cross section for surveyed medi-cal radioisotopes was simulated,and specific solutions for measuring medical radioisotopes with ultra-low production cross sections were *** feasibility of this method for high-precision measurements of the reaction cross section of medical radioisotopes was demonstrated.

The occurrence of poisoning incidents caused by cyanobacterial blooms has aroused wide public ***-leucine arginine(MC-LR)is a well-established toxin produced by cyanobacterial blooms,which is widely distributed in eutrophic ***-LR is not only hazardous to the water environment but also exerts multiple toxic effects including liver toxicity in both humans and ***,the underlying mechanisms of MCLR-induced liver toxicity are ***,we used advanced single-cell RNA sequencing technology to characterize MC-LR-induced liver injury in *** established the first single-cell atlas ofmouse livers in response to *** results showed that the differentially expressed genes and pathways in diverse cell types of liver tissues of mice treatedwith MC-LR are highly *** analysis showed that MC-LR induced an increase in a subpopulation of hepatocytes that highly express Gstm3,which potentially contributed to hepatocyte apoptosis in response to ***,MC-LR increased the proportion and multiple subtypes of Kupffer cells with M1 phenotypes and highly expressed proinflammatory ***,the MC-LR increased several subtypes of CD8+T cells with highly expressed multiple cytokines and ***,apart from directly inducing hepatocytes apoptosis,MC-LR activated proinflammatory Kupffer cell and CD8+T cells,and their interaction may constitute a hostile microenvironment that contributes to liver *** findings not only present novel insight into underlying molecular mechanisms but also provide a valuable resource and foundation for additional discovery of MC-LR-induced liver toxicity.

Neutron-sensitive microchannel plates(nMCPs)have applications in neutron detection,including energy spectrum measurements,neutron-induced cross sections,and neutron imaging.10B-doped MCPs(B-MCPs)have attracted significant attention owing to their potential for exhibiting a high neutron detection efficiency over a large neutron energy *** spatial and temporal resolutions are useful for neutron energy-resolved ***,their practical applications still face many technical *** this study,a B-MCP with 10 mol%10B was tested for its response to wide-energy neutrons from eV to MeV at the Back-n white neutron source at the China Spallation Neutron *** neutron detection efficiency was calibrated at 1 eV,which is approximately 300 times that of an ordinary MCP and indicates the success of 10 B *** factors that caused the reduction in the detection efficiency were simulated and *** neutron energy spectrum obtained using B-MCP was compared with that obtained by other measurement methods,and showed very good consistency for neutron energies below tens of *** response is more complicated at higher neutron energy,at which point the elastic and nonelastic reactions of all nuclides of B-MCP gradually become *** is beneficial for the detection of neutrons,as it compensates for the detection efficiency of B-MCP for high-energy neutrons.

The performance and reliability of ferroelectric thin films at temperatures around a few Kelvin are critical for their application in *** this work,TiN/Hf_(0.5)Zr_(0.5)O_(2./TiN capacitors that are free from the wake-up effect are investigated systematically from room temperature(300 K)to cryogenic temperature(30 K).We observe a consistent decrease in permittivity(εr)and a progressive increase in coercive electric field(Ec)as temperatures *** investigation reveals exceptional stability in the double remnant polarization(2._(r))of our ferroelectric thin films across a wide temperature ***,at 30 K,a 2._(r)of 36μC/cm^(2.under an applied electric field of 3.0 MV/cm is ***,we observed a reduced fatigue effect at 30 K in comparison to 300 *** stable ferroelectric properties and endurance characteristics demonstrate the feasibility of utilizing HfO_(2.based ferroelectric thin films for cryo-electronics applications.

Nondestructive and noninvasive neutron assays are essential applications of neutron *** resonance transmission analysis(NRTA)is a powerful nondestructive method for investigating the elemental composition of an *** back-streaming neutron line(Back-n)is a newly built time-of-flight facility at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)that provides neutrons in the eV to 300 MeV range.A feasibility study of the NRTA method for nuclide identification was conducted at the CSNS Back-n via two test *** results demonstrate that it is feasible to identify different elements and isotopes in samples using the NRTA method at *** study reveals its potential future applications.
