A new inorg.nic–org.nic hybrid 4-Ti-added polyoxometalate:[H_(2.N(CH_(3))_(2.]_(2.Na_(3)H_(5)[{Ti(C_(2.O_(4))(H_(2.O)}_(2.{Ti(C_(2.O_(4))}_(2.(B-β-SbW_(9)O_(33))_(2.]·2.H_(2.O(1)has been successfully made and further characterized by infrared spectroscopy,thermog.avimetric analysis,powder X-ray diff raction and sing.e-crystal X-ray diff *** polyoxoanion of 1 exhibits a Krebs-type structure that is constructed from two[B-β-SbW_(9)O_(33)]^(9)−frag.ents fused tog.ther by a belt of four additional Ti atoms decorated by oxalate ***,1 as a heterog.neous catalyst exhibits hig. activity for Knoevenag.l condensation under mild reaction conditions.

Impacts of land cover chang.s on watershed hydrolog. have been a long.term academic concern with acute dispute. But little attention has been paid to such effects on mesoscale river basins, where the society has a closer link to river hydrolog.. The present study focuses on a mesoscale river basin, the Suomo Basin that is located on the upper reaches of the Yang.ze River. Land covers in the basin in the years 1970, 1986 and 1999 were mapped. A lumped hydrolog.c model, CHARM, and a distributed hydrolog.c model, SWAT, were used to model the impacts of both land-cover chang. and climate variation on river runoff during.the past four decades. The results show that the contribution of climate variation to the chang. of runoff reg.me makes up 60%―80%, while that of land cover chang.s only 2.%.

DNA barcoding.is a method of species identification and recog.ition using.DNA sequence data.A tiered or multilocus method has been recommended for barcoding.plant *** this study,we sampled 196 individuals representing.9 g.nera and 54 species of j.g.andaceae to investig.te the utility of the four potential barcoding.loci(rbcL,matK,trnH-psbA,and internal transcribed spacer(ITS)).Our results show that all four DNA reg.ons are easy to amplify and *** the four tested DNA reg.ons,ITS has the most variable information,and rbcL has the *** g.neric level,seven of nine g.nera can be efficiently identified by *** species level,ITS has hig.er interspecific p-distance than the trnH-psbA *** to alig. in the whole family,ITS showed heterog.neous variability among.different *** for the monotypic g.nera(Cyclocarya,Annamocarya,Platycarya),ITS appeared to have limited power for species identification within the Carya and Eng.lhardia complex,and have no power for j.g.ans or ***,our results confirmed that a multilocus tiered method for plant barcoding.was applicable and *** hig.er priority,matK is proposed as the first-tier DNA reg.on for g.nus discrimination,and the second locus at species level should have enoug. stable variable characters.

The wide-ang.e seismic profile between Meng.0} and Malong.crosses the Baoshan block (g.ndwana-typed), and Simao and southwestern Yang.ze blocks (Yang.ze-typed). By in-terpreting.the wide-ang.e seismic data, we obtained the seismic crust/upper mantle structure of P-wave velocities tog.ther with the seismic reflections of these three blocks, Chang.ing. Meng.0} and Mo{12.ang.suture zones among.the mentioned three blocks. Our interpreting.results demonstrate that the P-wave crustal velocity of Simao block is slower than that of Baoshan and southwestern Yang.ze block and the crustal thickness g.adually thickens from the Baoshan block, Simao to southwestern Yang.ze block. Crustal reflection patterns of these three blocks have dis-tinct differences too. For the g.ndwana-typed blocks, seismic reflections in the upper crust are well developed while in middle-lower crust they are very weak. The crustal reflections in the Yang.ze block are very well developed. The crustal reflection patterns in Simao and southwest-ern Yang.ze blocks are disting.ishable. The averag. thickness of the crust in the studied area is about 40 km. And we make some discussions on the crustal thickening.model of the three blocks in western Yunnan and tectonic setting.of seismic developing.and interaction of g.ndwana and Yang.ze blocks.

A study of the atmospheric photochemical reaction of CF3 radical with CO and O2.was performed by using.a homemade ultraviolet photoelectron spectrometer-photoionization mass spectrometer (PES- PIMS). The electronic structures and mechanism of ionization and dissociation of CF3OC(O)OOC(O)- OCF3 were investig.ted. It was indicated that the two bands on the photoelectron spectrum of CF3OC(O)OOC(O)OCF3 are the result of ionization of an electron from a lone pair of oxyg.n and a fluo- rine lone pair of CF3 g.oup. The outermost electrons reside in the oxyg.n lone pair. The experimental and theoretical first vertical ionization energ. is 13.2. and 13.178 eV, respectively, with the PES and OVg. method. They are in g.od ag.eement. The photo ionization and dissociation processes were discussed with the help of theoretical calculations and PES-PIMS experiment. After ionization, the parent ions prefer the dissociation of the C-O bond and g.ving.the frag.ents CF3OCO+ and CF3+. It demonstrated that the ultraviolet photoelectron and photoionization mass spectrometer could be ap- plied widely in the study of atmospheric photochemical reaction.

The estimation of above-g.ound biomass(Ag.) and carbon storag. is very important for arid and semi-arid ***-1A/B satellite data combined with field measurement data was used for the estimation of shrub Ag. and carbon storag. in the Mu Us desert,*** correlations of shrub Ag. and spectral reflectance of four bands as well as their combined veg.tation indexes were respectively analyzed and stepwise reg.ession analysis was employed to establish Ag. prediction *** prediction equation based on ratio veg.tation index(RVI)was proved to be more suitable for shrub Ag. estimation in the Mu Us desert than *** Ag. and carbon storag. were mapped using.the RVI based prediction model in *** statistics showed the western Mu Us desert has relatively hig. Ag. and carbon storag.,and that the g.oss shrub carton storag. in Mu Us desert reaches 16 799 200 t,which has g.eatly contributed to the carbon fixation in northern china.

Bipolar membranes(BPMs)exhibit the unique capability to reg.late the operating.environment of electrochemical system throug. the water dissociation-combination ***,the industrial utilization of BPMs is limited by instability and serious energ. *** current-induced membrane discharg.(CIMD)at hig.-current conditions has a neg.tive influence on the performance of anion-exchang. membranes,but the underlying.ion transport mechanisms in the BPMs remain ***,the CIMD-coupled Poisson-Nernst-Planck(PNP)equations are used to explore the ion transport mechanisms in the BPMs for both reverse bias and forward bias at neutral and acid-base *** is demonstrated that the CIMD effect in the reverse-bias mode can be suppressed by enhancing.the diffusive transport of salt counter-ions(Na^(+)and Cl^(−))into the BPMs,and that in the forward-bias mode with acid-base electrolytes can be suppressed by matching.the transport rate of water counter-ions(H_(3)O^(+)and OH^(−)).Suppressing.the CIMD can promote the water dissociation in the reverse-bias mode,as well as overcome the plateau of limiting.current density and reduce the interfacial blockag. of salt co-ions(Cl^(−))in the anion-exchang. layer in the forward-bias mode with acid-base *** work hig.lig.ts the importance of reg.lating.ion crossover transport on improving.the performance of BPMs.
