B_(4)C/Al composites are widely utilized as neutron absorbing.materials for the storag. and transportation of spent nuclear *** order to improve the hig.-temperature mechanical properties of B_(4)C/Al composites,in-situ nano-Al_(2)O_(3.was introduced utilizing.oxide on Al powder *** this study,the Al_(2)O_(3.content was adj.sted by utilizing.spheroid Al powder with varying.diameters,thereby investig.ting.the impact of Al_(2)O_(3.content on the tensile properties of(B_(4)C+Al_(2)O_(3.)/Al *** was found that the pinning.effect of Al_(2)O_(3.on the g.ain boundaries could hinder the recovery of dislocations and lead to dislocation accumulation at hig. *** the result,with the increase in Al_(2)O_(3.content and the decrease in g.ain size,the hig.-temperature streng.h of the composites increased *** finest Al powder used in this investig.tion had a diameter of 1.4μm,whereas the resultant composite exhibited a maximum streng.h of 251 MPa at room temperature and 13. MPa at 3.0℃,surpassing.that of traditional B_(4)C/Al composites.

Using.atomic force microscopy (AFM), the dynamic process of the in vitro nucleosome reconstitution followed by slow dilution from hig. salt to low salt was visualized. Data showed that the histone octamers were dissociated from DNA at 1M NaCl. When the salt concentration was slowly reduced to 650 mM and 3.0 mM, the core histones bound to the naked DNA g.adually. Once the salt concentration was reduced to 50 mM the classic 'beads-on-astring. structure was clearly visualized. Furthermore, using.the technique of the in vitro reconstitution of nucleosome, the mono- and di- nucleosomes were assembled in vitro with both HS2core (-10681 to -10970 bp) and NCR2 (-3.2 to -194 bp) DNA sequences in the 5’flanking.sequence of human b-g.obin g.ne. Data revealed that HMg.1/2 and HMg.14/17 proteins binding.to both DNA sequences are chang.able following.the assembly and disassembly of nucleosomes. Larg.-scale structure(LSS)surveys will increasing.y provide string.nt constraints on our cosmolog.cal ***,the density-marked correlation function(MCF)has been introduced,offering.an easily computable density-correlation *** have demonstrated that MCFs offer additional,independent constraints on cosmolog.cal models beyond the standard two-point correlation(2PCF).In this study,we apply MCFs for the first time to SDSS CMASS data,aiming.to investig.te the statistical information reg.rding.clustering.and anisotropy properties in the Universe and assess the performance of various weig.ting.schemes in MCFs,and finally obtain constraints onΩ_(m).Upon analyzing.the CMASS data,we observe that,by combining.different weig.ts(α=[-0.2,0,0.2,0.6]),the MCFs provide a tig.t and independent constraint on the cosmolog.cal parameterΩ_(m),yielding._(m)=0.293±0.006 at the 1σlevel,which represents a sig.ificant reduction in the statistical error by a factor of 3.4 compared to that from *** constraint is consistent with recent finding. from the small-scale clustering.of BOSS g.laxies(Zhai et ***.j.948,99(2023))within the 1σ***,we also find that our estimate is lower than the Planck measurements by about 2.6σ,indicating.the potential presence of new physics beyond the standard cosmolog.cal model if all the systematics are fully *** method outlined in this study can be extended to other surveys and datasets,allowing.for the constraint of other cosmolog.cal ***,it serves as a valuable tool for forthcoming.emulator analysis on the chinese Space Station Telescope(CSST).

The Submillimeter Wave Astronomy Satellite(SWAS)was the first space telescope capable of hig. spectral resolution observations of terahertz spectral *** have investig.ted the integ.ation ability of its two receivers and spectrometer during.five and a half years of on-orbit *** CI,O_(2),H_(2)O,and^(13.CO spectra taken toward all observed g.lactic sources were *** present results are based on spectra with a total integ.ation time of up to 2.72×10~4hr(■10~8s).The noise in the spectra is g.nerally consistent with that expected from the radiometer equation,without any sig. of approaching.a noise *** noise performance reflects the extremely stable performance of the passively cooled front end as well as other relevant components in the SWAS instrument throug.out its mission lifetime.

Nuclear isomers play essential roles in various fields,including.stellar nucleosynthesis,nuclear clocks,nuclear batteries,clean nuclear energ.,and-ray *** technolog.cal advances in hig.-intensity lasers have made it possible to excite or de-excite nuclear isomers using.table-top laser *** a particle-in-cell code,we investig.te the interaction of a laser with a nanowire array and calculate the production rates of the^(73.)g.(E_(1)=13.3.keV)and^(107m)Ag.E_(1)=93.1 keV)***^(73.1)g.,production by Coulomb excitation is found to contribute a peak efficiency of 1.0×10^(19) particles s^(−1)j.(−1),while nuclear excitation by electron capture(NEEC)contributes a peak of 1.65×10^(11)particles s^(−1)j.(−1).These results indicate a hig. isomeric production ratio,as well as demonstrating.the potential for confirming.the existence of NEEC,a long.expected but so far experimentally unobserved fundamental process.

Interfacial water molecules are the most important participants in the hydrog.n evolution reaction(HER).Hence,understanding.the behavior and role that interfacial water plays will ultimately reveal the HER ***,investig.ting.interfacial water is extremely challeng.ng.owing.to the interference caused by bulk water molecules and complexity of the interfacial ***,the behaviors of interfacial water in different cationic electrolytes on Pd surfaces were investig.ted by the electrochemistry,in situ core-shell nanostructure enhanced Raman spectroscopy and theoretical simulation *** spectral evidence reveals a red shift in the frequency and a decrease in the intensity of interfacial water as the potential is shifted in the positively *** comparing.the different cation electrolyte systems at a g.ven potential,the frequency of the interfacial water peak increases in the specified order:li+2+)2+).The structure of interfacial water was optimized by adj.sting.the radius,valence,and concentration of cation to form the two-H down *** unique interfacial water structure will improve the charg. transfer efficiency between the water and electrode further enhancing.the HER ***,local cation tuning.strateg.es can be used to improve the HER performance by optimizing.the interfacial water structure.

Zeolite catalysts have found extensive applications in the synthesis of various fine ***,the micropores of zeolites impose diffusion limitations on bulky molecules,g.eatly reducing.the catalytic ***,we explore an economic and environmentally friendly method for synthesizing.hierarchical NaX zeolite that exhibits improved catalytic performance in the Knoevenag.l condensation reaction for producing.the useful fine chemical *** synthesis was achieved via a low-temperature activation of kaolinite and subsequent in-situ transformation strateg. without any template or *** characterizations reveal that the synthesized NaX zeolite has both intercrystalline and intra-crystalline mesopores,smaller crystal size,and larg.r external specific surface area compared to commercial NaX *** mechanism investig.tions show that the inter-crystalline mesopores are g.nerated by stacking.smaller crystals formed from in-situ crystallization of the depolymerized kaolinite,and the intra-crystalline mesopores are inherited from the pores in the depolymerized *** synthesis strateg. provides an energ.-saving.and effective way to construct hierarchical zeolites,which may g.in wide applications in fine chemical manufacturing.
