While conventional nanosystems can target infected lung tissue,they cannot achieve precise cellular targeting and enhanced therapy by modulating inflammation and microbiota for effective ***,we designed a nucleus-targeted nanosystem with adenosine triphosphate(ATP)and reactive oxygen species stimuli-response to treat pneumonia coinfected with bacteria and virus that is enhanced through inflammation and microbiota *** nucleus-targeted biomimetic nanosystem was prepared through the combined bacteria-macrophage membrane and loaded hypericin and ATP-responsive dibenzyl oxalate(MMHP)*** MMHP despoiled the Mg^(2+)of intracellular cytoplasm in bacteria to achieve an effective bactericidal ***,MMHP can target the cell nucleus and inhibit the H1N1 virus duplication by inhibiting the activity of *** possessed an immunomodulatory ability to reduce the inflammatory response and activate CD8^(+)T cells for assisted infection *** the mice model,the MMHP effectively treated pneumonia coinfected with Staphylococcus aureus and H1N1 ***,MMHP mediated the composition of gut microbiota to enhance the pneumonia ***,the dual stimuli-responsive MMHP possessed promising clinical translational potential to therapy infectious pneumonia.

Precipitation polymerizations of divinylbenzene（DVB） in pure supercritical carbon dioxide,and parallel runs with presence of a cosolvent were carried *** results showed that use of acetone as the cosolvent contributed greatly to the formation of the monodisperse *** microspheres,with obviously higher uniformity than reported up to date,were achieved using 6-7 mL of acetone in a reactor of 50 mL with DVB concentration of 0.4 mol/L under 16 MPa,a much lower pressure than previously reported without use of cosolvent.

Metastasis,is a development of secondary tumor growths at a distance from the primary site,and closely related to poor prognosis and ***,there is still no effective treatment for metastatic ***,there is an urgent need to find an effective therapy for cancer *** of evidence indicates that miR-9 can function as a promoter or suppressor in cancer metastasis and coordinate multistep of metastatic *** this review,we summarize the different roles of miR-9 with the corresponding molecular mechanisms in metastasis of twelve common cancers and the multiple mechanisms underlying miR-9-mediated regulation of metastasis,benefiting the further research of miR-9 and metastasis,and hoping to bridge it with clinical applications.

Although the uniformity of diamond discrete global grid is essential for calculations and searches,geometric deformations increase with the level of *** Good child Criteria provides a basis for evaluating the quality of the global ***,some indicators in the criteria are redundant and contradictory,and the existing indicator system has *** using the indicator system may render the evaluation of the diamond grid *** this study,we summarized the evaluation indicators for grid quality basedon the Good child Criteria,calculated the correlations between these indicators using different diamond grid systems,and constructed reliable evaluation systems based on similarities and *** selected grid systems are classified into two groups:non-equal-area and equal-area *** quality evaluation systems are composed of Size-Shape-Topology Factor and Geometry-Topology Factor,*** proposed quality evaluation systems utilize a minimal number of indicators selected from each factor to provide a comprehensive description of the diamondgrid’s *** approach simplifies the complexity of the evaluations while improving their reliability and credibility.

ligand N^(2),N^(6)-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide(L=BHPC)was synthesized and used to construct lanthanide-based mesoporous material *** the structure of resulting Eu-L-MCM-41,Eu^(3+)was chelated by BHPC,and the Eu-L complexes were anchored into the forming MCM-41 host by the reaction between the hydroxyl group and active *** mesoporous material Eu-L-MCM-41 was characterized by UV,IR,small-angle X-ray diffraction(SAXRD)patterns,nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms,TGA and fluorescence *** results indicate that ligand and Eu^(3+) have been introduced into the MCM-41 host,and Eu-L-MCM-41 exhibits characteristic luminescence of Eu^(3+).

Dear Editor,Paracentral acute middle maculopathy(PAMM), defined as an optical coherence tomography(OCT) finding characterized by a band-like, hyperreflective lesion at the level of the inner nuclear layer(INL), is the result of impaired flow in the deep and intermediate retinal capillary plexuses[1]. Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome （OSAS） increases the risk of post-surgery complications. This study uses Berlin Questionnaire （BQ） to identify Chinese adult surgical patients who are at a high risk of OSAS and to determine if the BQ could be used to detect potential high risk of adverse respiratory events in the post anesthesia care unit （PACU）. Results indicated that only 11.4% of the patients were considered at a high risk of OSAS. Age and body mass index are the key factors for the risk of OSAS prevalence in China and also gender specific. Furthermore, the incidence of adverse respiratory events in the PACU was higher in patients with high risk of OSAS than others （6.8% vs. 0.9%, P 〈 0.001）. They also stayed longer than others in the PACU （95 ~ 28 min vs. 62 ~ 19 min, P 〈 0.001）. Age, high risk for OSAS, and smoking were independent risk factors for the occurrence of adverse respiratory events in the PACU. The BQ may be adopted as a screening tool for anesthesiologists in China to identify patients who are at high risk of OSAS and determine the potential risk of developing postoperative respiratory complications in the PACU.

Antitumor Active Protein-containing Glycans from the Body of Ganoderma tsugae

To explore the effects of traditional herbal medicine Ganoderrna tsugae（G, tsugae） on immunomodulatory and antitumor activities, the crude polysaccharides of G. tsugae were purified by filtration, diethylaminoethyl（DEAE） sepharose-fast flow chromatography and sephadex G-100 size-exclusion chromatography. Two main fractions, pro- tein-containing glyeans CSSLP-1 and CSSLP-2, were obtained via the gradient elution. The protein content, molecu- lar weight, and monosaccharide composition of the two fractions were analyzed. Furthermore, the influence of the protein-containing glycans from G. tsugae on the activation of human acute monocytic leukemia cell line（THP-l） and their antitumor activities to the human hepatocellular liver carcinoma cell（HepG-2） in vitro were evaluated. The re- sults indicate that CSSLP-1 and CSSLP-2 could increase the pinocytie activity of THP-1 cells and induce THP-1 cells to produce the eytokines of TNFa and IL-2, significantly. CSSLP-1 and CSSLP-2 also played an inhibiting effect on the cancer cell（HepG-2）. Moreover, the anti-proliferation activity of CSSLP-1 and CSSLP-2 increased with the par- ticipation of TNFa and IL-2 or other antitumor factors induced from THP-1 cells by G. tsugae protein-containing glycan fractions.
