The Antarctic Ice Sheet（AIS） has been losing ice mass and contributing to global sea level rise（GSLR）. Given its mass that is enough to cause ～58 m of GSLR, accurate estimation of mass balance trend is critical for AIS mass loss monitoring and sea level rise forecasting. Here, we present an improved approach to reconciled solutions of mass balance in AIS and its regions from multiple contributing solutions using the input-out, altimetric, and gravimetric methods. In comparison to previous methods, such as IMBIE 2.18, this approach utilizes an adaptive data aggregation window to handle the heterogeneity of the contributing solutions, including the number of solutions, temporal distributions, uncertainties, and estimation techniques. We improved the regression-based method by using a two-step procedure that establishes ensembled solutions within each method（input-output, altimetry, or gravimetry） and then estimates the method-independent reconciled solutions. For the first time, 16contributing solutions from 8 chinese institutions are used to estimate the reconciled mass balance of AIS and its regions from1996 to 2.2.. Our results show that AIS has lost a total ice mass of ～32.3±2.3 Gt during the period, an equivalent of～8.9±0.7 mm of GSLR. There is a sustained mass loss acceleration since 2.06, from 88.1±3.6 Gt yr-1during 1996–2.05 to 130.7±8.4 Gt yr-1during 2.06–2.13 and further to 157.0±9.0 Gt yr-1during 2.14–2.2.. The mass loss signal in the West Antarctica and Antarctic Peninsula is dominant and clearly presented in the reconciled estimation and contributing solutions, regardless of estimation methods used and fluctuation of surface mass balance. Uncertainty and challenges remain in mass balance estimation in East Antarctica. This reconciled estimation approach can be extended and applied for improved mass balance estimation in the Greenland Ice Sheet and mountain glacier regions.

Two rectangular-shaped lakes,Lake Hulun and Lake Buir,located at the boundary between china and Mongolia,only c.75 km apart and therefore experiencing similar wind fields,have been studied based on satellite images and field surveys in order to compare their geomorphological and sedimentological *** wind-driven hydrodynamics,which have a significant effect on the development of littoral landforms and on sediment distribution,have been discussed for the two similar lakes that experienced a prevailing wind perpendicular to their long axis.A conceptual model related to wind-driven water bodies and sediment distribution is ***-influenced to wave-dominated deltas,beaches,spits,and eolian dune deposits develop around these two lakes,with a strikingly similar distribution *** features locally inform the longshore drift and help reconstruct the water circulation induced by wind *** the NW prevailing wind regime,the spits developed on the SW coast with a NW—SE extension,which was influenced by the NW—SE longshore *** same influence was observed in the delta extension in the NE *** differences lie in the presence of fan deltas in the NW region of Lake Hulun,but not in Lake ***,the width of the beach and eolian deposits on the downwind coast of Lake Hulun is three times greater than that of Lake Buir which were caused by the differences in sediment supply and wind fetch between the two *** Hulun and Lake Buir provide two reliable examples to understand the relationship among the wind field,provenance,hydrodynamics,landforms,and asymmetrical distribution of clastics in elongated *** also represent relevant modern analogs,which may also be of guiding significance to wind-driven sand body prediction in lacustrine basins.

Background chinese indigenous pigs are popular with consumers for their juiciness,flavour and meat quality,but they have lower meat ***-like growth factor 2.IGF2. is a maternally imprinted growth factor that promotes skeletal muscle growth by regulating cell proliferation and differentiation.A single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) within intron 3 of porcine IGF2.disrupts a binding site for the repressor,zinc finger BED-type containing 6(ZBED6),leading to up-regulation of IGF2.and causing major effects on muscle growth,heart size,and backfat *** favorable mutation is common in Western commercial pig populations,but absent in most chinese indigenous pig *** improve meat production of chinese indigenous pigs,we used cytosine base editor 3(CBE3)to introduce IGF2.intron3-C3071T mutation into porcine embryonic fibroblasts(PEFs) isolated from a male liang Guang Small Spotted pig(LGSS),and single-cell clones harboring the desired mutation were selected for somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT) to generate the founder line of IGF2.(T/T) *** We found the heterozygous progeny IGF2.(C/T) pigs exhibited enhanced expression of IGF2.increased lean meat by 18%-36%,enlarged loin muscle area by 3%-17%,improved intramuscular fat(IMF) content by 18%-39%,marbling score by 0.75-1,meat color score by 0.53.1.2.,and reduced backfat thickness by 5%-16%.The enhanced accumulation of intramuscular fat in IGF2.(C/T) pigs was identified to be regulated by the PI3K-AKT/AMPK pathway,which activated SREBP1 to promote *** We demonstrated the introduction of IGF2.intron3-C3071T in chinese LGSS can improve both meat production and quality,and first identified the regulation of IMF deposition by IGF2.through SREBP1 via the PI3KAKT/AMPK signaling *** study provides a further understanding of the biological functions of IGF2.nd an example for improving porcine economic traits through precise base editing.

The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST)has the largest aperture and a 19-beam L-band receiver,making it powerful for investigating the neutral hydrogen atomic gas(HI)in the *** present HiFAST(https://***),a dedicated,modular,and self-contained calibration and imaging pipeline for processing the H?data of *** pipeline consists of frequency-dependent noise diode calibration,baseline fitting,standing wave removal using an FFT-based method,flux density calibration,stray radiation correction,and gridding to produce data *** modules can be combined as needed to process the data from most FAST observation modes:tracking,drift scanning,On-The-Fly mapping,and most of their *** HiFAST,the root-mean-square(RMS)noises of the calibrated spectra from all 19 beams were only slightly(~5%)higher than the theoretical *** results for the extended source M33 and the point sources are consistent with the results from *** moment maps(0,1 and 2.of M33 agree well with the results from the Arecibo Galaxy Environment Survey(AGES)with a fractional difference of less than 10%.For a common sample of 2.1 sources with signal-to-noise ratio S/N>10 from the Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA(ALFALFA)survey,the mean value of fractional difference in the integrated flux density,Sint,between the two datasets is approximately 0.005%,with a dispersion of 15.4%.Further checks on the integrated flux density of 2. sources with seven observations indicate that the variance in the flux density of the source with luminous objects(Sint>2.5 Jy km s-1)is less than 5%.Our tests suggest that the FAST telescope,with the efficient,precise,and user-friendly pipeline HiFAST,will yield numerous significant scientific findings in the investigation of the H?in the universe.

Blood and Marrow Transplant Research(CIBMTR).It is shown that the number of transplants is continuously increasing,particularly in china in recent years.[2.Since the donor accessibility is significantly addressed by the well-established protocol of haplo-identical HCT(haplo-HCT).

We present preliminary analyses of spectra of quasar candidates in two Guoshoujing Telescope （GSJT, formerly named the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope - LAMOST） test fields near M 31 where one is close to the optical center of the disk and the other is towards the northeastern outskirts of the halo, obtained during the early stage of the GSJT commissioning in the last season of 2.09. Both fields contain background low-redshift quasar candidates selected from the SDSS photometry. In total, 14 new quasars with redshifts up to 2.and i magnitudes between 16.7 and 19.2. are discovered, including 7 within the 2.5° central region of M 31. We briefly discuss the potential applications of these newly discovered bright quasars.

Planetary nebulae （PNe） are good tracers of the stellar populations, chemical composition and dynamics of their host galaxies. This paper reports the discovery of new PNe in the outskirts of the Andromeda Galaxy （M31） with the Guoshoujing Telescope （GSJT, formerly named the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope-LAMOST） during its early commissioning phase. In total, 36 candidates selected from SDSS photometry are confirmed in terms of their PN nature, including 17 new discoveries and another 19 previously known emission line objects. Their positions, spectra, radial velocities and m5007 magnitudes are presented. We discuss the potential for detecting more PNe in M 31 with GSJT＇s multi-object spectroscopy and the related applications in studies of the dynamics and chemistry of M 31 and its assemblage history.

The discovery of ferromagnetic two-dimensional(2.)van der Waals(vdWs)materials provides an opportunity to explore intriguing physics and to develop innovative spin electronic ***,the main challenge for practical applications of vd Ws ferromagnetic crystals lies in the weak intrinsic ferromagnetism and small perpendicular magnetic anisotropy(PMA)above room ***,we report the intrinsic vd Ws ferromagnetic crystal Fe_(3)GaTe_(2.,synthesized by the self-flux method,exhibiting a Curie temperature(TC)of 370 K,a high saturation magnetization of 33.47 emu/g,and a large PMA energy density of approximately 4.17×10^(5)J/m^(3).Furthermore,the magneto-optical effect is systematically investigated in Fe_(3)GaTe_(2..The doubly degenerate E_(2.)(Γ)mode reverses the helicity of incident photons,indicating the existence of pseudoangular-momentum(PAM)and ***,the non-degenerate non-chiral A_(1g)(Γ)phonon exhibits a significant magneto-Raman effect under an external out-of-plane magnetic *** results lay the groundwork for studying phonon chirality and magneto-optical phenomena in 2. magnetic materials,providing the feasibility for further fundamental research and applications in spintronic devices.
