High-efficient production of hydrogen from bio-oil was performed by electrochemical catalytic reforming method over the CoZnAl catalyst. The influence of current on the hydrogen yield, carbon conversion, and products distribution were investigated. Both the hydrogen yield and carbon conversion were remarkably enhanced by the current through the catalyst, reaching hydrogen yield of 70% and carbon conversion of 85% at a lower reforming temperature of 500 ℃. The influence of current on the properties of the CoZnAl catalyst was also characterized by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller measurements. The thermal electrons would play an important role in promoting the reforming reactions of the oxygenated-organic compounds in the bio-oil.

BACKGROUND Xia–Gibbs syndrome(XGS,OMIM:615829),caused by mutations within the ATHook DNA-binding motif-containing protein 1(AHDC1)gene(OMIM:615790),located on the short arm of chromosome 1 within the cytogenetic band 1p36.11,contains five noncoding 5 exons,a single 4.9-kb coding exon,and a noncoding 3 *** SUMMARY In this case report,we diagnosed and treated a 6-mo-old girl with *** primary clinical symptoms included global developmental delay,hypotonia,and mild dysmorphic *** high-throughput whole-exosome sequencing to sequence the patient and her parents,and the results showed a novel frameshift mutation of c.1155dupG(***386Alafs*3)in the AHDC1 *** paternal gene was wild *** This report extends the mutation spectrum of the AHDC1 gene to provide the diagnostic basis for genetic counseling in families with XGS.

The regulation of adult neural stem cells(NSCs) is critical for lifelong neurogenesis. MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are a type of small, endogenous RNAs that regulate gene expression post-transcriptionally and influence signaling networks responsible for several cellular processes. In this study, mi R-103-3 p was transfected into neural stem cells derived from embryonic hippocampal neural stem cells. The results showed that mi R-103-3 p suppressed neural stem cell proliferation and differentiation, and promoted apoptosis. In addition, mi R-103-3 p negatively regulated Nud E neurodevelopment protein 1-like 1(Ndel1) expression by binding to the 3′ untranslated region of Ndel1. Transduction of neural stem cells with a lentiviral vector overexpressing Ndel1 significantly increased cell proliferation and differentiation, decreased neural stem cell apoptosis, and decreased protein expression levels of Wnt3 a, β-catenin, phosphor-GSK-3β, LEF1, c-myc, c-Jun, and cyclin D1, all members of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. These findings suggest that Ndel1 is a novel mi R-103-3 p target and that mi R-103-3 p acts by suppressing neural stem cell proliferation and promoting apoptosis and differentiation. This study was approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Nantong University, China(approval No. 20200826-003) on August 26, 2020.

Objective： The aim of the research was to study the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of incidence of colorectal cancer in North China. Methods： Analysis and summary were made for 704 colorectal cancer patients diagnosed from 2004 to 2008 in North China. Results：（1） Of 704 colorectal cancer patients, the median age was 56 years old, and the mean age was 58.2. There was no statistic difference in age between male and female cases, P 〉 0.05. （2） The male-female ratio was 1.62：1. （3） The proportion of rectal cancer was 62.92%, and incidence of the left colon cancer was higher than that of right colon cancer, P 〈 0.05. （4） Of 712 lesions, 658 cases were adenocarcinoma accounting for 92.4%, 34 were malignant adenoma accounting for 4.8%, and 20 carcinoid accounting for 2.8%. （5） The 48.9% of patients belonged to stages 0 to 11B. Conclusion： The cases of colorectal cancer in North China is mainly rectal cancers, and the incidence of left colon cancer is higher than that of right colon cancer. The histopathological classification is mainly adenocarcinoma, and the ratio of early stage is high.

为了建立简便快速的猪流行性腹泻病毒(PEDV)荧光定量RT-qPCR检测方法,根据GenBank数据库公布的猪流行性腹泻病毒囊膜蛋白E基因,设计特异性引物和探针结合微芯片技术,建立微芯片荧光定量RT-qPCR检测方法。该方法除对PEDV检测为阳性外,对与其同源性较近的致病病毒的检测均为阴性;最低检测限为1 copies/μL,常规荧光RT-qPCR检测限为10 copies/μL。批内、批间重复性试验表明,Ct值变异系数均在2%以内,可对PEDV临床样本进行检测。建立的检测方法特异性好、敏感性高、检测时间短且重复性好,适用于临床检测。
