In this work,the Permian Longtan marine-continental transitional shale in the southeast of Sichuan Basin was taken as study object.Through petrology and geochemical analysis,lithofacies types of the marine-continental transitional shale were classified,key controlling factors of physical properties and gas content of the different shale lithofacies were analyzed.The research results show that the Longtan Formation marine-continental transitional shale in the study area has four types of lithofacies,namely,organic-lean calcareous shale,organic-lean mixed shale,organic-lean argillaceous shale,and organic-rich argillaceous shale,among which the organic-rich argillaceous shale is the most favorable lithofacies of the study area.The pore types of different lithofacies vary significantly and the clay mineral-related pore is the dominant type of the pore system in the study area.The main controlling factor of the physical properties is clay mineral content,and the most important factor affecting gas content is TOC content.Compared with marine shale,the marine-continental transitional shale has low average values,wide distribution range,and strong heterogeneity in TOC content,porosity,and pore structure parameters,but still contains some favorable layers with high physical properties and gas contents.The organic-rich clay shale deposited in tidal flat-lagoon system is most likely to form shale gas sweet spots,so it should be paid more attention in shale gas exploration.

针对管幕箱涵暗挖工法在城市下穿工程中引起的地表沉降控制问题,本文依托南昌某地下通道建设工程,基于随机介质理论和弹性薄板模型纳维解,提出了一种预测浅埋管幕支护下箱涵顶进施工中地面沉降的计算方法,并结合现场监测数据和数值模型对该计算方法进行了验证,此计算方法可以使施工人员提前对下穿工程引起的地表沉降值做出预判。结果表明:(1)该方法对地表沉降最终值得预测结果较好,与现场实测数据误差不大于10%;(2)由土体损失引起的地表沉降值较小,最大值为0.52 mm,主要控制纵排管幕上方的地表沉降;(3)由管幕变形引起的地表沉降值较大,最大值为1.70 mm,主要控制通道上方的地表沉降。

Curtailing Carbon Usage with Addition of Functionalized NiFe2O4 Quantum Dots:Toward More Practical S Cathodes for li-S Cells

Smartcombination of manifold carbonaceous materials with admirable functionalities(like full of pores/functional groups,high specific surface area) is still a mainstream/preferential way to address knotty issues of polysulfides dissolution/shuttling and poor electrical conductivity for S-based cathodes.However,extensive use of conductive carbon fillers in cell designs/technology would induce electrolytic overconsumption and thereby shelve high-energy-density promise of li-S cells.To cut down carbon usage,we propose the incorporation of multi-functionalized NiFe2O4 quantum dots(QDs) as affordable additive substitutes.The total carbon content can be greatly curtailed from 26%(in traditional S/C cathodes) to a low/commercial mass ratio(~5%).Particularly,note that NiFe2O4 QDs additives own superb chemisorption interactions with soluble li2Sn molecules and proper catalytic features facilitating polysulfide phase conversions and can also strengthen charge-transfer capability/redox kinetics of overall cathode systems.Benefiting from these intrinsic properties,such hybrid cathodes demonstrate prominent rate behaviors(decent capacity retention with ~526 mAh g^-1 even at 5 A g^-1) and stable cyclic performance in liNO3-free electrolytes(only ~0.08% capacity decay per cycle in 500 cycles at 0.2 A g^-1).This work may arouse tremendous research interest in seeking other alternative QDs and offer an economical/more applicable methodology to construct low-carbon-content electrodes for practical usage.

Constructions of ROS-responsive titanium-hydroxyapatite implant for mesenchymal stem cell recruitment in peri-implant space and bone formation in osteoporosis microenvironment

To solve the issue of unsatisfactory recruitment of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)around implant in osteoporotic fractures,we fabricated a ROS-responsive system on titanium surface through hydroxyapatite coating and biomolecule grafting.The porous hydroxyapatite and phosphorylated osteogenic growth peptides(p-OGP)were introduced onto titanium surface to synergistically improve osteogenic differentiation of MSCs.After the p-OGPpromoted expression of osteogenic related proteins,the calcium and phosphate ions were released through the degradation of hydroxyapatite and integrated into bone tissues to boost the mineralization of bone matrix.The ROS-triggered release of DNA aptamer(Apt)19S in the osteoporotic microenvironment guides MSC migration to implant site due to its high affinity with alkaline phosphatase on the membrane of MSCs.Once MSCs reached the implant interface,their osteogenic differentiation potential was enhanced by p-OGP and hydroxyapatite to promote bone regeneration.The study here provided a simple and novel strategy to prepare functional titanium implants for osteoporotic bone fracture repair.

Minimizing Carbon Content with Three-in-One Functionalized Nano Conductive Ceramics:Toward More Practical and Safer S Cathodes of li-S Cells

Using porous carbon hosts in cathodes of li-S cells can disperse S actives and offset their poor electrical conductivity.However,such reservoirs would in turn absorb excess electrolyte solvents to S-unfilled regions,causing the electrolyte overconsumption,specific energy decline,and even safety hazards for battery devices.To build better cathodes,we propose to substitute carbons by In-doped SnO_(2)(ITO)nano ceramics that own three-in-one functionalities:1)using conductive ITO enables minimizing the total carbon content to an extremely low mass ratio(~3%)in cathodes,elevating the electrode tap density and averting the electrolyte overuse;2)polar ITO nanoclusters can serve as robust anchors toward li polysulfide(liPS)by electrostatic adsorption or chemical bond interactions;3)they offer catalysis centers for liquid–solid phase conversions of S-based actives.Also,such ceramics are intrinsically nonflammable,preventing S cathodes away from thermal runaway or explosion.These merits entail our configured cathodes with high tap density(1.54 g cm^(−3)),less electrolyte usage,good security for flame retardance,and decent li-storage behaviors.With lean and liNO_(3)-free electrolyte,packed full cells exhibit excellent redox kinetics,suppressed liPS shuttling,and excellent cyclability.This may trigger great research enthusiasm in rational design of low-carbon and safer S cathodes.

What is already known about this topic?The key epidemiological parameters including serial interval,basic reproductive number(R0),and effective reproductive number(Rt)are crucial for coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)control and prevention.Previous studies provided different estimations but were often flawed by some limitations such as insufficient sample size and selection bias.What is added by this report?In this study,a total of 116 infector-infectee pairs meeting strict inclusion criteria were selected for analysis.The mean serial interval of COVID-19 was 5.81 days(standard deviation:3.24).The estimated mean with 95%confidence interval of R0 was 3.39(3.07–3.75)and 2.98(2.62–3.38)using exponential growth(EG)and maximum likelihood(ML)methods,respectively.The Rt in the early phase of the epidemic was above 1 with the peak of 4.43 occurring on January 8,and then showing subsequent declines and approaching 1 on January 24.What are the implications for public health practices?This study supports previous findings that COVID-19 has high transmissibility and that implementing comprehensive measures is effective in controlling the COVID-19 outbreak.

丰宁银多金属矿床位于华北克拉通北缘冀北成矿区内,是该地区重要的银多金属矿床之一。为了更好地探究矿床成因并进行矿区深部、外围找矿预测,对丰宁银多金属矿床牛圈银(金)矿区不同成矿阶段矿石中黄铁矿热电性标型特征进行了研究。结果表明该矿床黄铁矿热电系数变化范围为26~367μV·℃^(-1),主要集中在200~330μV·℃^(-1)范围内,黄铁矿热电导型全部为P型,热电系数平均值为267μV·℃^(-1)。从1190 m到1110 m范围内约80 m的垂直空间内,热电系数变化梯度为0.74μV·℃^(-1)·m^(-1),变化梯度较小。综合来看,目前牛圈银(金)矿区所揭露的仅为浅部矿体,深部矿体还没有披露,并且矿体剥蚀较浅,深部尚有很大找矿远景。另外,利用黄铁矿热电系数与其形成温度的经验公式计算得出本区黄铁矿的形成温度范围为147~281℃,主要集中在180~280℃,与流体包裹体均一测温结果的变化范围基本一致,表明该矿床为中低温矿床。

为了研究花瓶墩的空间受力特性,依托某大跨现浇连续桥梁,对其下部花瓶墩建立了线性实体有限元模型,分析了花瓶墩横向力在不同应力途径下的分布规律。同时,对花瓶墩横向配筋设计和裂缝分布进行了研究,基于材料非线性建立了钢筋混凝土开裂模型,横向配筋由线性实体模型中计算的拉杆力得出,非线性模型计算结果表明配筋能够满足规范要求,采用规范拉压杆模型配筋时过于保守,因此建议对空间异型花瓶墩采用有限元法计算配筋。花瓶墩裂缝分布主要集中在墩顶中间混凝土开槽位置处,建议对该部分增设构造钢筋,研究结果可供相关工程参考。

Electrocatalytic water splitting offers a sustainable route for hydrogen production,enabling the clean and renewable alternative energy system of hydrogen economy.The scarcity and high-cost of platinum-group-metal(PGM)materials urge the exploration of high-performance non-PGM electrocatalysts.Herein,a unique hierarchical structure of NiA/2O3 with extraordinary electrocatalytic performance(e.g.t overpotentials as low as 22 mV at 20 mA·cm^-2 and 94 mV at 100 mA·cm^-2)toward hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline electrolyte(1 M KOH)is reported.The investigation on the hierarchical NiA/2O3 with a bimodal size-distribution also offers insight of interfacial engineering that only proper NiA/2O3 interface can effectively improve H20 adsorption,H20 dissociation as well as H adsorption,for an efficient hydrogen production.

Buoyance-driven hydrocarbon accumulation depth and its implication for unconventional resource prediction

The discovery of unconventional hydrocarbon resources since the late 20th century changed geologists’understanding of hydrocarbon migration and accumulations and provides a solution to energy shortage.In 2016,unconventional oil production in the USA accounted for 41%of the total oil production;and unconventional natural gas production in China accounted for 35%of total gas production,showing strong growth momentum of unconventional hydrocarbons explorations.Unconventional hydrocarbons generally coexist with conventional petroleum resources;they sometimes distribute in a separate system,not coexisting with a conventional system.Identification and prediction of unconventional resources and their potentials are prominent challenges for geologists.This study analyzed the results of 12,237 drilling wells in six representative petroliferous basins in China and studied the correlations and differences between conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons by comparing their geological features.Migration and accumulation of conventional hydrocarbon are caused dominantly by buoyance.Wepropose a concept of buoyance-driven hydrocarbon accumulation depth to describe the deepest hydrocarbon accumulation depth driven dominantly by buoyance;beyond this depth the buoyance becomes unimportant for hydrocarbon accumulation.We found that the buoyance-driven hydrocarbon accumulation depth in petroliferous basins controls the different oil/gas reservoirs distribution and resource potentials.Hydrocarbon migration and accumulations above this depth is dominated by buoyancy,forming conventional reservoirs in traps with high porosity and permeability,while hydrocarbon migration and accumulation below this depth is dominated by non-buoyancy forces(mainly refers to capillary force,hydrocarbon volumeexpansion force,etc.),forming unconventional reservoirs in tight layers.The buoyance-driven hydrocarbon accumulation depths in six basins in China range from 1200mto 4200 m,which become shallowerwith increasing geothermal gradient,decreasing partic
