Exploration of the coupled lattice Boltzmann model based on a multiphase field model:A study of the solid-liquid-gas interaction mechanism in the solidification process

A multiphase field model coupled with a lattice Boltzmann(PF-LBM)model is proposed to simulate the distribution mechanism of bubbles and solutes at the solid-liquid interface,the interaction between dendrites and bubbles,and the effects of different temperatures,anisotropic strengths and tilting angles on the solidified organization of the SCN-0.24wt.%butanedinitrile alloy during the solidification *** model adopts a multiphase field model to simulate the growth of dendrites,calculates the growth motions of dendrites based on the interfacial solute equilibrium;and adopts a lattice Boltzmann model(LBM)based on the Shan-Chen multiphase flow to simulate the growth and motions of bubbles in the liquid phase,which includes the interaction between solid-liquid-gas *** simulation results show that during the directional growth of columnar dendrites,bubbles first precipitate out slowly at the very bottom of the dendrites,and then rise up due to the different solid-liquid densities and pressure *** bubbles will interact with the dendrite in the process of flow migration,such as extrusion,overflow,fusion and *** the case of wide gaps in the dendrite channels,bubbles will fuse to form larger irregular bubbles,and in the case of dense channels,bubbles will deform due to the extrusion of *** the simulated region,as the dendrites converge and diverge,the bubbles precipitate out of the dendrites by compression and diffusion,which also causes physical phenomena such as fusion and spillage of the *** results reveal the physical mechanisms of bubble nucleation,growth and kinematic evolution during solidification and interaction with dendrite growth.

Distributed Cooperative Anti-Disturbance Control for High-Order MIMO Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems

To solve the synchronization and tracking problems,a cooperative control scheme is proposed for a class of higher-order multi-input and multi-output(MIMO)nonlinear multi-agent systems(MASs)subjected to uncertainties and external ***,coupled relationships among Laplace matrix,leader-following adjacency matrix and consensus error are analyzed based on undirected ***,nonlinear disturbance observers(NDOs)are designed to estimate compounded disturbances in MASs,and a distributed cooperative anti-disturbance control protocol is proposed for high-order MIMO nonlinear MASs based on the outputs of NDOs and dynamic surface control ***,the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed scheme are proven based on Lyapunov stability theory and simulation experiments.

Exploration of single molecular species synchronously featured by long excitation/emission wavelength, accurate diagnosis, and effective therapy, remains supremely appealing to implement high-performance cancer phototheranostics. However, those previously established phototheranostic agents are undiversified and stereotyped in terms of structural skeleton, and generally exhibit insufficient phototheranostic outcomes. Herein, we innovatively utilized indanone-condensed thiadiazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline(ITQ) as electron acceptor to construct novel photosensitizer with second near-infrared(NIR-II) emission. Experimental study and theoretical calculation demonstrated that comparing with the counterparts constituting by widely employed NIR-II building block benzobisthiadiazole(BBTD) and 6,7-diphenylthiadiazoloquinoxaline(DPTQ), ITQ-based photosensitizer(TITQ) showed superior aggregation-induced emission(AIE) characteristics, much stronger type-I reactive oxygen species(ROS) production, and prominent photothermal conversion capacity. Furthermore, TITQ nanoparticles with excellent biocompatibility were capable of effectively accumulating in the tumor site and visualizing tumor through fluorescence-photoacoustic-photothermal trimodal imaging with highly spatiotemporal resolution, and completely eliminating tumor by type-I photodynamic-photothermal therapy.

Developing non-noble metal-based electrocatalyst with high catalytic activity is essential for advancing hydrogen energy *** study introduces a hydrothermal method for synthesizing order Ni(OH)_(2)nanosheets,with H_(3)O_(40)PW_(12)(denoted as PW_(12))loaded onto reduced graphene oxide(rGO)coated on nickel foam(referred to as PW_(12)-Ni(OH)_(2)/rGO).This method contrasts with the electrodeposition of Ni(OH)_(2),where PW_(12)is added to the synthetic system to direct the assembly and morphology of the Ni(OH)_(2)through a hydrothermal *** this work,the nickel foam acts dual roles as both the substrate and the source of nickel for the formation of Ni(OH)_(2).The PW_(12)-Ni(OH)_(2)/rGO nanosheets,when successfully prepared and loaded onto the nickel foam(NF),exhibited superior electrocatalytic activity for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)in an alkaline electrolyte,achieving a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)at an overpotential of 69 ***,we endeavored to expand the application of this material towards the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)by preparing PW_(12)-(Fe/Co)Ni(OH)_(2)/rGO through the addition of metal *** nanocomposite displayed outstanding electrocatalytic activity in alkaline electrolytes,with a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)at an overpotential of 211 mV,and demonstrated excellent stability over a 50 h period in a 1 M KOH *** results presented in this paper offer an effective strategy for the preparation of polyoxometalate-based inorganic materials with diverse functionalities,applicable to both HER and OER.

Background Respiratory syncytial virus(RSV)is the leading global cause of respiratory infections and is responsible for about 3 million hospitalizations and more than 100,000 deaths annually in children younger than 5 years,representing a major global healthcare *** is a great unmet need for new agents and universal strategies to prevent RSV infections in early life.A multidisciplinary consensus development group comprising experts in epidemiology,infectious diseases,respiratory medicine,and methodology aims to develop the current consensus to address clinical issues of RSV infections in *** sources The evidence searches and reviews were conducted using electronic databases,including PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,and the Cochrane library,using variations in terms for"respiratory syncytial virus","RSV","lower respiratory tract infection","bronchiolitis","acute","viral pneumonia","neonatal","infant""children",and"pediatric".Results Evidence-based recommendations regarding diagnosis,treatment,and prevention were proposed with a high degree of *** supportive care remains the cornerstone for the management of RSV infections,new monoclonal antibodies,vaccines,drug therapies,and viral surveillance techniques are being rolled *** This consensus,based on international and national scientific evidence,reinforces the current recommendations and integrates the recent advances for optimal care and prevention of RSV *** improvements in the management of RSV infections will require generating the highest quality of evidence through rigorously designed studies that possess little bias and sufficient capacity to identify clinically meaningful end points.

Deuterium distribution and behavior of blisters in pre-damaged and undamaged tungsten

Effect of lanthanum on inclusions in non-oriented electrical steel slabs

The effect of lanthanum on the characteristics of inclusions in the slab of non-oriented electrical steels was investigated through industrial trials and thermodynamic *** number,size,and chemical composition of inclusions in the surface,one-quarter of thickness and the center of slabs with and without lanthanum addition were statistically analyzed using an automatic inclusion analysis *** the lanthanum-free slab,inclusions were predominately ***_(2)O_(3),MgO,and AlN as well as a small number of Al_(2)O_(3)-MgO-CaO and *** number densities of oxide inclusions and AlN decreased from the surface to the center of the slab,which was ascribed to the difference in cooling intensity during the continuous *** the steel with lanthanum addition,inclusions were modified into LaAlO_(3) and La_(2)O_(2)S and gradually transformed into dual-phase MgO-La_(2)S3 with an increasing distance from the slab surface due to the reaction between the lanthanum-containing inclusion and the steel *** uneven distribution of oxide inclusions along the thickness of the slab was eliminated in the lanthanum-bearing slab because the dissolved oxygen was remarkably decreased by ***-bearing inclusions were more likely to agglomerate AlN by inducing the heterogeneous nucleation of AlN on their surface,while small-size ***_(2)O_(3) inclusions hardly showed a coarsening effect on the size of AlN.

光致变色窗户因结构简单、被动调光和零能耗输入而被认为是一种高效的节能智能窗,然而有关光致变色智能窗的研究很少涉及中红外(MIR)波段,这限制了节能效率。本研究通过在ITO衬底上生长稀土含氧氢化物(ReO_(x)H_(y))薄膜,实现了宽波段调制的能力。所开发的光致变色智能窗口能够通过感应光强度自动调节发射率,同时保持可见光和近红外(NIR)调制(ΔT_(sol)=35.1%,ΔT_(l um)=37%,Δ(ε8-13μm=0.12))。研究还通过优化制备气氛,实现了GdO_(x)H_(y)的一步制备并提高了稳定性,通过综合表征分析了光致变色机理。总之,这种跨越可见光-近红外-中红外的被动协同调制方法有望推动光致变色智能窗的发展。

Time-Varying Formation-Containment Tracking Control for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Swarm Systems with Switching Topologies and a Non-Cooperative Target

This paper studies the time-varying formation-containment tracking control problems for unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)swarm systems with switching topologies and a non-cooperative target,where the UAV swarm systems consist of one tracking-leader,several formation-leaders,and *** formation-leaders are required to accomplish a predefined time-varying formation and track the desired trajectory of the tracking-leader,and the states of the followers should converge to the convex hull spanned by those of the ***,a formation-containment tracking protocol is proposed with the neighboring relative information,and the feasibility condition for formation-containment tracking and the algebraic Riccati equation are ***,the stability of the control system with the designed control protocol is proved by constructing a reasonable Lyapunov ***,the simulation examples are applied to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical *** simulation results show that both the formation tracking error and the containment error are convergent,so the system can complete the formation containment tracking control *** the actual battlefield,combat UAVs need to chase and attack hostile UAVs,but sometimes when multiple UAVs work together for military interception,formationcontainment tracking control will occur.

A micro-crosslinked amphoteric hydrophobic association copolymer as high temperature-and salt-resistance fluid loss reducer for water-based drilling fluids

During ultradeep oil and gas drilling, fluid loss reducers are highly important for water-based drilling fluids, while preparing high temperature-and salt-resistance fluid loss reducers with excellent rheology and filtration performance remains a challenge. Herein, a micro-crosslinked amphoteric hydrophobic association copolymer(i.e., DADC) was synthesized using N,N-dimethyl acrylamide, diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid, hydrophobic monomer, and pentaerythritol triallyl ether crosslinker. Due to the synergistic effects of hydrogen bonds, electrostatic interaction, hydrophobic association, and micro-crosslinking, the DADC copolymer exhibited outstanding temperature-and salt-resistance. The rheological experiments have shown that the DADC copolymer had excellent shear dilution performance and a certain degree of salt-responsive viscosity-increasing performance. The DADC copolymer could effectively adsorb on the surface of bentonite particles through electrostatic interaction and hydrogen bonds, which bring more negative charge to the bentonite, thus improving the hydration and dispersion of bentonite particles as well as the colloidal stability of the drilling fluids. Moreover, the drilling fluids constructed based on the DADC copolymer exhibited satisfactory rheological and filtration properties(FLHTHP= 12 m L) after aging at high temperatures(up to200°C) and high salinity(saturated salt) environments. Therefore, this work provided new insights into designing and fabricating high-performance drilling fluid treatment agents, demonstrating good potential applications in deep and ultradeep drilling engineering.
