Multi-source data integration and multi-scale modeling framework for progressive prediction of complex geological interfaces in tunneling

A reliable geological model plays a fundamental role in the efficiency and safety of mountain tunnel ***,regional models based on limited survey data represent macroscopic geological environments but not detailed internal geological characteristics,especially at tunnel portals with complex geological *** paper presents a comprehensive methodological framework for refined modeling of the tunnel surrounding rock and subsequent mechanics analysis,with a particular focus on natural space distortion of hard-soft rock interfaces at tunnel *** progressive prediction of geological structures is developed considering multi-source data derived from the tunnel survey and excavation *** improve the accuracy of the models,a novel modeling method is proposed to integrate multi-source and multi-scale data based on data extraction and potential field ***,a regional-scale model and an engineering-scale model are built,providing a clear insight into geological phenomena and supporting numerical *** addition,the proposed framework is applied to a case study,the Long-tou mountain tunnel project in Guangzhou,china,where the dominant rock type is *** results show that the data integration and modeling methods effectively improve model structure *** improved model’s calculation deviation is reduced by about 10%to 20%in the mechanical *** study contributes to revealing the complex geological environment with singular interfaces and promoting the safety and performance of mountain tunneling.

The effects of deformation parameters and cooling rates on the aging behavior of AZ80+0.4%Ce

The extruded AZ80+0.4%Ce magnesium alloy was twisted in the temperature range of 300-380℃by using a Gleeble 3500 thermal simulation test machine with a torsion *** deformed cylindrical specimens were cooled at a cooling rate of 10℃/s or 0.1℃/s,respectively,and aged at 170℃.The microstructure analysis results showed that the grain size decreased with increasing specimen radial position from center(SRPC),and that the strong initial basal texture of the extruded magnesium alloy was *** continuous and discontinuous dynamic recrystallization mechanisms were involved in contributing to the grain refinement for all specimens *** a novel extension twinning induced dynamic recrystallization mechanism was proposed for specimen deformed at 300℃.For the specimens deformed at 300℃and 340℃followed by a slow cooling rate(0.1℃/s),precipitates of various shapes(β-Mg_(17)Al_(12)),with the dominant precipitates being on the grains boundaries,appeared on the surface *** specimen deformed at 380℃,lamellar precipitates(LPS)in the interiors of the grains were *** aging,the LPS still dominated for specimens twisted at 380℃;however,the LPS gradually decreased with decreasing deformation temperatures from 380℃to 300℃.Dynamically precipitatedβ,especially those decorating the grain boundaries,changed the competition pictures for the LPS and precipitates of other shapes after ***,LPS dominated the areas for the center section of the specimens after aging regardless of deformation *** temperature deformation with high SRPC followed by rapid cooling rate increased the micro hardness of the alloy after aging due to refined grain,reduced precipitates size,decreased lamellar spacing as well as strain hardening.

By means of infinite product of uniformly distributed probability spaces of cardinal n the concept of truth degrees of propositions in the n-valued generalized Lu- kasiewicz propositional logic system Ln^＊ is introduced in the present paper. It is proved that the set consisting of truth degrees of all formulas is dense in [0,1], and a general expres- sion of truth degrees of formulas as well as a deduction rule of truth degrees is then obtained. Moreover, similarity degrees among formulas are proposed and a pseudo-metric is defined therefrom on the set of formulas, and hence a possible framework suitable for developing approximate reasoning theory in n-valued generalized Lukasiewicz propositional logic is established.

Neural stem cells promote neuroplasticity: a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease

Recent studies have demonstrated that neuroplasticity,such as synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis,exists throughout the normal lifespan but declines with age and is significantly impaired in individuals with Alzheimer’s ***,promoting neuroplasticity may represent an effective strategy with which Alzheimer’s disease can be *** to their significant ability to self-renew,differentiate,and migrate,neural stem cells play an essential role in reversing synaptic and neuronal damage,reducing the pathology of Alzheimer’s disease,including amyloid-β,tau protein,and neuroinflammation,and secreting neurotrophic factors and growth factors that are related to *** events can promote synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis to repair the microenvironment of the mammalian ***,neural stem cells are considered to represent a potential regenerative therapy with which to improve Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative *** this review,we discuss how neural stem cells regulate neuroplasticity and optimize their effects to enhance their potential for treating Alzheimer’s disease in the clinic.

In this work,considering the preformation factor of the emitted two protons in parent nucleus S_(2p) and the effect of the parent nucleus deformation,based on the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin approximation and Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization condition,we improve a simple phenomenological model proposed by Bayrak[***.G:47,025102(2020)]to systematically study 2p radioactivity *** model contains two adjustable parameters V_(0) and a_(β),which are related to the depth of nuclear potential and effect of *** calculated results show that this model can effectively reproduce the experimental data with a corresponding root-mean-square(RMS)standard deviation of σ=*** comparison,we include the Gamow-like model(GLM)proposed by liu et al.[***.C 45,044110(2021)],generalized liquid drop model(GLDM)proposed by Cui et al.[***.C 101,0143.1.2020)],effective liquid drop model(ELDM)proposed by *** et al.[***.B 774,14(2017)],two-potential approach with Skyrme-Hartree-Fock(TPASHF)proposed by Pan et al.[***.C 45,124104(2021)],phenomenological model with a screened electrostatic barrier(SEB)propoesed by Zou et al.[***.C 45,104101(2021)],unified fission model(UFM)proposed by xing et al.[***.C 45,124105(2021)],Coulomb and proximity potential model for deformed nuclei(CPPMDN)proposed by Santhosh[***.C 104,064613(2021)],two-parameter empirical formula proposed by liu et al.[***.C 45,024108(2021)],and four-parameter empirical formula proposed by Sreeja et al.[***.J.A 55,33(2019)].In addition,we use this model to 2p predict the radioactive half-lives of some possible potential nuclei whose 2p radioactivity are energetically allowed or observed but not yet quantified in NUBASE2020.

As the brightest gamma-ray burst ever observed,GRB 221009A provided a precious opportunity to explore spectral line *** this article,we performed a comprehensive spectroscopy analysis of GRB 221009A jointly with GECAM-C and Fermi/GBM data to search for emission and absorption *** the first time we investigated the line feature throughout this GRB including the most bright part where many instruments suffered problems,and identified prominent emission lines in multiple time *** central energy of the Gaussian emission line evolves from about 37 to 6 MeV,with a nearly constant ratio(about 10%)between the line width and central ***,we find that both the central energy and the energy flux of the emission line evolve with time as a power law decay with power law index of–1 and–2,*** suggest that the observed emission lines most likely origin from the blue-shifted electron positron pair annihilation 511 ke V *** find that a standard high latitude emission scenario cannot fully interpret the observation,thus we propose that the emission line comes from some dense clumps with electron positron pairs traveling together with the *** this scenario,we can use the emission line to directly,for the first time,measure the bulk Lorentz factor of the jet(Γ)and reveal its time evolution(i.e.,Γ~t^(-1))during the prompt ***,we find that the flux of the annihilation line in the co-moving frame keeps *** discoveries of the spectral line features shed new and important lights on the physics of GRB and relativistic jet.

Flow-injection Chemiluminescence Sensor for Hydrogen Peroxide with Immobilized Reagents

A novel chemiluminescence (CL) sensor for H2O2 combined with flow injection analysis is described in this paper. H2O2 is sensed by the CL reaction with luminol and Co2+ bleeding from the ion exchange column with immobilized reagents by hydrolysis. The calibration graph is linear and falls between the range of 4x10(-8) to 1x10(-5) mol/L. A complete analysis could be performed in 1 min. The system was reused for over 50 hours.

Chemiluminescence flow Sensor for determination of the Ammonium ion

A novel chemiluminescence (CL) sensor for NH4+ combined with flow injection analysis is presented in this paper. It is based on the inhibition effect of NH4+ on the CL reaction between luminol, immobilized electrostatically on an anion-exchange column, and hypochlorous acid electrogenerated on-line. The sensor responds linearly to NH4+ concentration in 1.0x10(-6)-4.0x10(-9) g/ml range. A complete analysis could be performed in 1 min. The system is stable for 200 determination.

Based on the unified Hauser–Feshbach and exciton model,which can describe the particle emission processes between discrete energy levels with energy,angular momentum,and parity conservations,a statistical theory of light nucleus reaction(STLN)is developed to calculate the double-differential cross-sections of the outgoing neutron and light charged particles for the proton-induced^(6) li reaction.A significant difference is observed between the p+^(6) li and p+^(7) li reactions owing to the discrepancies in the energy-level structures of the *** reaction channels,including sequential and simultaneous emission processes,are analyzed in *** the double-differential cross-sections of the outgoing proton as an example,the influence of contaminations(such as^(1) H,^(7)li,^(12)C,and^(16)O)on the target is identified in terms of the kinetic energy of the first emitted *** optical potential parameters of the proton are obtained by fitting the elastic scattering differential *** calculated total double-differential cross-sections of the outgoing proton and deuteron at E_(p)=14 MeV agree well with the experimental data for different outgoing ***,the mixed double differential cross-sections of^(3) He andαare in good agreement with the *** agreement between the measured data and calculated results indicates that the two-body and three-body breakup reactions need to be considered,and the pre-equilibrium reaction mechanism dominates the reaction *** on the STLN model,a PLUNF code for the p+^(6) li reaction is developed to obtain an ENDF-6-formatted file of the double-differential cross-sections of the nucleon and light composite charged particles.
