We present an independent catalog(FRIIRGcat)of 45,241 Fanaroff–Riley TypeⅡ(FR-Ⅱ)radio galaxies compiled from the Very Large Array Faint Images of the Radio Sky at Twenty-centimeters(FIRST)survey and employed the deep learning *** them,optical and/or infrared counterparts are identified for 41,425 FR-Ⅱ*** catalog spans luminosities 2.63×10^(22)≤L_(rad)≤6.76×10^(29)W Hz^(-1)and redshifts up to z=*** spectroscopic classification indicates that there are 1431 low-excitation radio galaxies and 260 high-excitation radio *** the spectroscopically identified sources,black hole masses are estimated for 4837 FR-Is,which are in 10^(7.5)■M_(BH)■10^(9.5)M_(⊙).Interestingly,this catalog reveals a couple of giant radio galaxies(GRGs),which are already in the existing GRG catalog,confirming the efficiency of this FR-I ***,284new GRGs are unveiled in this new FR-I sample;they have the largest projected sizes ranging from 701 to1209 kpc and are located at redshifts 0.31licable to the radio sky surveys that are currently being conducted because they have finely refined telescope *** the other hand,we are expecting that further new methods will be dedicated to solving this problem.

Evidence suggests associations between COVID-19 patients or vaccines and glycometabolic dysfunction and an even higher risk of the occurrence of ***,we retrospectively analyzed pancreatic lesions in autopsy tissues from 67 SARS-CoV-2 infected non-human primates(NHPs)models and 121 vaccinated and infected NHPs from 2020 to 2023 and COVID-19 ***-label immunofluorescence revealed direct infection of both exocrine and endocrine pancreatic cells by the virus in NHPs and *** and limited phenotypic and histopathological changes were observed in adult *** proteomics and metabolomics results indicated metabolic disorders,mainly enriched in insulin resistance pathways,in infected adult NHPs,along with elevated fasting C-peptide and C-peptide/glucose ratio ***,in elder COVID-19 NHPs,SARS-CoV-2 infection causes loss of beta(β)cells and lower expressed-insulin in situ characterized by islet amyloidosis and necrosis,activation ofα-SMA and aggravated fibrosis consisting of lower collagen in serum,an increase of pancreatic inflammation and stress markers,ICAM-1 and G3BP1,along with more severe glycometabolic *** contrast,vaccination maintained glucose homeostasis by activating insulin receptorαand insulin receptorβ.Overall,the cumulative risk of diabetes post-COVID-19 is closely tied to age,suggesting more attention should be paid to blood sugar management in elderly COVID-19 patients.

Root exudates serve as crucial mediators for information exchange between plants and soil,and are an important evolutionary mechanism for plants’adaptation to environmental *** this study,15 different abiotic stress models were established using various stress factors,including drought(D),high temperature(T),nitrogen deficiency(N),phosphorus deficiency(P),and their *** investigated their effects on the seedling growth of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge and the activities of Solid-Urease(S-UE),Solid-Nitrite Reductase(S-NiR),Solid-Nitrate Reductase(S-NR),Solid-Phosphotransferase(S-PT),and Solid-Catalase(S-CAT),as well as the contents of polysaccharides in the culture *** results showed that the growth of *** was inhibited under 15 stress *** them,13 stress conditions increased the root-shoot *** 15 stress conditions significantly reduced the activity of S-NR,two combinations significantly improved the activity of S-NIR,they were synergistic stresses of high temperature and nitrogen deficiency(TN),and synergistic stresses of drought and nitrogen deficiency(DN)(p<0.05).The activity of S-UE was significantly improved under N,D,T,synergistic stresses of drought and high temperature(DT),DN,synergistic stresses of drought and phosphorus deficiency(DP),and synergistic stresses of high temperature,nitrogen,and phosphorus deficiency(TNP)stress conditions(p<0.05).Most stress combinations reduced the activity of S-PT,but D and T significantly improved it.(p<0.05).The N,DN,and TN stress conditions significantly reduced S-CAT *** P,DT,and synergistic stresses of drought,high temperature,and phosphorus deficiency(DTP)significantly decreased the total polysaccharide content of the soil(p<0.05).The research suggested that abiotic stress hindered the growth of *** and altered the behavior of root *** regulated the secretion of several substances in response to various abiotic stresses,including soil ni

AIM:To analyze the spectrum of isolated pathogens and antibiotic resistance for ocular infections within 5y at two tertiary hospitals in east ***:Ocular specimen data were collected from January 2019 to October *** pathogen spectrum and positive culture rate for different infection location,such as keratitis,endophthalmitis,and periocular infections,along with antibiotic resistance were ***:We included 2727 specimens,including 827(30.33%)positive cultures.A total of 871 strains were isolated,530(60.85%)bacterial and 341(39.15%)fungal strains were ***-positive cocci(GPC)were the most common ocular *** most common bacterial isolates were Staphylococcus epidermidis(25.03%),Staphylococcus aureus(7.46%),Streptococcus pneumoniae(4.59%),Corynebacterium macginleyi(3.44%),and Pseudomonas aeruginosa(3.33%).The most common fungal genera were Fusarium spp.(12.74%),Aspergillus spp.(6.54%),and Scedosporium spp.(5.74%).Staphylococcus epidermidis strains showed more than 50%resistance to *** pneumoniae and Corynebacterium macginleyi showed more than 90%resistance to *** percentage of bacteria showing multidrug resistance(MDR)significantly decreased(χ^(2)=17.44,P=0.002).CONCLUSION:GPC are the most common ocular *** macginleyi,as the fourth common bacterium,may currently be the local microbiological feature of east *** *** the most common *** than 50%of the GPC are resistant to fluoroquinolones,penicillins,and ***,the proportion of MDR strains has been reduced over time.

Background:Early systemic anticoagulation(SAC)is a common practice in acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP),and its impact on in-hospital clinical outcomes had been ***,whether it affects long-term outcomes is *** study aimed to evaluate the effect of SAC on 90-day readmission and other long-term outcomes in ANP ***:During January 2013 and December 2018,ANP patients admitted within 7 days from the onset of abdominal pain were *** primary outcome was 90-day readmission after *** proportional-hazards regression model and mediation analysis were used to define the relationship between early SAC and 90-day ***:A total of 241 ANP patients were enrolled,of whom 143 received early SAC during their hospitalization and 98 did *** who received early SAC experienced a lower incidence of splanchnic venous thrombosis(SVT)[risk ratio(RR)=0.40,95%CI:0.26-0.60,Plity of life,patients who received early SAC had a significantly higher score in the subscale of vitality(P=0.03)while the other subscales were all comparable between the two *** Cox regression model showed that early SAC was an independent protective factor for 90-day readmission after adjusting for potential confounders with a hazard ratio of 0.57(95%CI:0.34-0.96,P=0.04).Mediation analysis showed that SVT mediated 37.0%of the early SAC-90-day readmission ***:The application of early SAC may reduce the risk of 90-day readmission in the survivors of ANP patients,and reduced SVT incidence might be the primary contributor.

Yeast has been an indispensable host for synthesizing complex plant-derived naturalcompounds, yet the yields remained largely constrained. This limitation mainly arises from overlookingthe importance of cell and pathway suitability during the optimization of enzymes and pathways. Herein,beyond conventional enzyme engineering, we dissected metabolic suitability with a framework forsimultaneously augmenting cofactors and carbon flux to enhance the biosynthesis of heterogenoustriterpenoids. We further developed phospholipid microenvironment engineering strategies, dramaticallyimproving yeast’s suitability for the high performance of endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-localized, ratelimitingplant P450s. Combining metabolic and microenvironment suitability by manipulating only threegenes, NHMGR (NADH-dependent HMG-CoA reductase), SIP4 (a DNA-binding transcription factor)andGPP1 (Glycerol-1-phosphate phosphohydrolase 1), we enabled the high-level production of 4.92 g/L rarelicorice triterpenoids derived from consecutive oxidation of b-amyrin by two P450 enzymes afterfermentation optimization. This production holds substantial commercial value, highlighting the criticalrole of establishing cell suitability in enhancing triterpenoid biosynthesis and offering a versatileframework applicable to various plant natural product biosynthetic pathways.
