Morphology-controlled electrocatalysts with the ability of CO_(2) adsorption/activation, mass transfer, high stability and porosity are much desired in electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reaction (CO_(2)RR). Here, three kinds of multi-dimensional nanostructures (i.e., hollow sphere, nanosheets and nanofibers) have been successfully produced through the modulation of porphyrin-based covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with various modulators. The obtained nanostructures with high-stability, large surface-area, and single metal sites enable efficient CO_(2)RR into CH_(4). Notably, they all exhibit higher FE (hollow sphere, 68.2%;nanosheet, 64.2% and nanofiber, 71.0%, -0.9 V) than COF-366-Cu (43.0%, -0.9 V) after morphology control. Noteworthy, the FE of COF-366-Cu (HS) keeps higher than 52.4% over a wide potential range from -0.9 V to -1.1 V and the achieved FECH_(4) + C_(2)H_(4) (82.8%, -0.9 V) is superior to most of reported COFs and copper-based electrocatalysts. This work paves a new way in the exploration of COF-based multi-dimensional nanostructures applicable in efficient CO_(2)RR to CH_(4).

Static Recrystallization Behavior of 316LN Austenitic Stainless Steel

The static recrystallization of 316LN austenitic stainless steel was studied by double-pass hot compression tests on a Gleeble 3500 thermomechanical simulator. The specimens were compressed at the deformation tempera- tures of 950, 1050, 1150 ℃, strain rates of 0.01, 0.1, 1 s^- 1, strains of 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and intervals of 1-100 s. The results show that the volume fraction of static recrystallization of 316LN increases with the increase of deforma- tion temperature, strain rate, strain and interval, which indicates that static recrystallization occurs easily under the conditions of higher deformation temperature, higher strain rate and larger strain. Deformation temperature has sig- nificant influence on static recrystallization of 316LN. The volume fraction of static recrystallization could easily reach 1000% at higher deformation temperatures. By microstructure analysis, it can be concluded that the larger the volume fraction of static recrystallization, the more obvious the grain refinement. The static recrystallization activation energy of 317 882 J/mol and the exponent n of 0.46 were obtained. The static recrystallization kinetics was established. The predicted volume fraction of static recrystallization is in good agreement with the experimental results.

Community-acquired pneumonia(CAP)remains the leading cause of morbidity and mortality among children *** is critical for these patients to select and timely initiate appropriate empirical antimicrobial therapy against the causative pathogens[1].However,conventional pathogen-detecting methods,such as culture and serology,have no prospect of altering empiric therapy owing to their time delay in obtaining results and to their lower detection rates[2].Recent advances in molecular diagnostic assays,such as multiplex polymerase chain reaction PCR(mPCR)methods,have been used to detect multiple pathogens in CAP simultaneously within two hours and have dramatically improved the ability to diagnose respiratory pathogens[3].However,whether this molecular diagnosis method can reduce the use of antibiotics and can improve prognosis in severe CAP children,especially those less than 5 years old,remains to be explored.

Relationships between endothelial nitric oxide synthase gene polymorphisms and osteoporosis in postmenopausal women

Objective： To investigate the relationships between endothelial nitric oxide synthases （eNOS） G894T and 27 bpvariable number tandem repeat （VNTR） gene polymorphisms and osteoporosis in the postmenopausal women of Chinese Han nationality. Methods： In the present study, 281 postmenopausal women from Xi＇an urban area in West China were recruited, and divided into osteoporosis, osteopenia, and normal groups according to the diagnostic criteria of osteoporosis proposed by World Health Organization （WHO）. The bone mineral density （BMD） values of lumbar vertebrae and left hips were determined by QDR-2000 dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. Blood samples were tested for plasma biochemical indicators including testosterone, estradiol, calcitonin, osteocalcin, and procollagen type I amino-terminal propeptide by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （EliSA）, tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase by spectrophotometric method, and the content of nitric oxide by Griess method. Genome DNA was extracted from whole blood, and G894T polymorphism of eNOS gene was analyzed by using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism （PCR-RFLP） method and 27 bp-VNTR polymorphism of eNOS gene was genotyped by PCR method. Then the relationships between genotypes and biochemical indicators, genotypes and osteoporosis, and haplotypes and osteoporosis were analyzed. Results： The average BMD values of the femoral neck, ward＇s triangle and lumbar vertebrae 1-4 （li-L4） in the subjects with T/T genotype in eNOS G894T locus were significantly higher than those in the subjects with G/T and G/G genotypes （P〈0.05）. The average BMD of the femoral neck in the subjects with a/a genotype of eNOS 27 bp-VNTR locus was evidently higher than that in the subjects with b/b genotype （P〈0.05）. Theoretical Studies on Structures and Properties of Endohedral Fullerenes Complexes: XH_n@C_(32)(X=F, O, N, C; n=1―4)

Theoretical studies on structures and properties of endohedral fullerene complexes formed by encapsulating small molecules of HF, H20, NH3, and CH4 in a C32 fullerene cage, were carried out by ab initio method. Current calculations reveal that these processes to encase them in fullerene are energetically unfavorable because of the small cavity size of C32. The red shift in the F-H stretching frequency indicates the potential existence of hydrogen bonding between the HF molecule and the carbon cage.
