Pluggable multitask diffractive neural networks based on cascaded metasurfaces

Optical neural networks have significant advantages in terms of power consumption,parallelism,and high computing speed,which has intrigued extensive attention in both academic and engineering *** has been considered as one of the powerful tools in promoting the fields of imaging processing and object ***,the existing optical system architecture cannot be reconstructed to the realization of multi-functional artificial intelligence systems *** push the development of this issue,we propose the pluggable diffractive neural networks(P-DNN),a general paradigm resorting to the cascaded metasurfaces,which can be applied to recognize various tasks by switching internal *** the proof-of-principle,the recognition functions of six types of handwritten digits and six types of fashions are numerical simulated and experimental demonstrated at near-infrared ***,the proposed paradigm not only improves the flexibility of the optical neural networks but paves the new route for achieving high-speed,low-power and versatile artificial intelligence systems.

Experimental Study on Towing Characteristics of Composite Bucket Wellhead Platform

With the rapid development of large-scale development of marginal oilfields in China,simple wellhead platforms that are simple in structure and easy to install have become an inevitable choice in the process of oilfield ***,traditional simple wellhead platforms are often discarded after a single *** pursuit of a more costeffective approach to developing marginal oilfields,this paper proposes a new offshore oil field development facility—an integrated bucket foundation for wellhead *** verify the safety of its towing behavior and obtain the dynamic response characteristics of the structure,this paper takes a bucket integrated bucket foundation for wellhead platform with a diameter of 40 m as the research *** combining physical model tests and numerical simulations,it analyzes the static stability and dynamic response characteristics of the structure during towing,complete with the effects of the draft,wave height,wave period,and towing point height,which produce the dynamic responses of the structure under different influence factors,such as roll angle,pitch angle,heave acceleration and towing force as well as the sensibility to transport *** results show that the integrated bucket foundation for wellhead platform is capable of self-floating towing,and its movement is affected by the local environment,which will provide a reference for actual projects.

Spatially resolved transcriptomics(SRT)is capable of comprehensively characterizing gene expression patterns and providing an unbiased image of spatial *** fully understand the organizational complexity and tumor immune escape mechanism,we propose stMGATF,a multiview graph attention fusion model that integrates gene expression,histological images,spatial location,and gene *** better extract information,stMGATF exploits SimCLRv2 for visual feature exaction and employs edge feature enhanced graph attention networks for the learning potential embedding of each view.A global attention mechanism is used to adaptively integrate 3 views to obtain low-dimensional *** to diverse SRT datasets,stMGATF is robust and outperforms other methods in detecting spatial domains and denoising data even with different resolutions and *** particular,stMGATF contributes to the elucidation of tissue heterogeneity and extraction of 3-dimensional expression ***,considering the associations between genes in tumors,stMGATF can identify the spatial dark genes ignored by traditional methods,which can be used to predict tumor-driving transcription factors and reveal tumor immune escape mechanisms,providing theoretical evidence for the development of new immunotherapeutic strategies.

Regulation effect of the grille spacing of a funnel-type grating water–sediment separation structure on the debris flow performance

The size of pores or the grille spacing of water–sediment separation structures directly affects their regulation effect on the debris flow performance.A suitable pore size or grille spacing can effectively improve the water–sediment separation ability of the *** new funnel-type grating water–sediment separation structure(FGWSS)combines vertical and horizontal structures and provides a satisfactory water–sediment separation ***,the regulation effect of the grille spacing of the structure on the debris flow performance has not been *** regulation effect of the structure grille spacing on the debris flow performance is studied through a flume test,and the optimal structure grille spacing is *** empirical equation of the relationship between the relative grille spacing of the structure and the sediment separation rate is ***,the influence of the water–sediment separation structure on the regulation effect of debris flows is examined from two aspects:external factors(properties of debris flows)and internal factors(structural factors).The experimental results show that the gradation characteristics of solid particles in debris flows constitute a key factor affecting the regulation effect of the structure on the debris flow *** optimum grille spacing of the FGWSS matches the particle size corresponding to the material distribution curves d85~d90 of the debris *** total separation rate of debris flow particles is related to the grille spacing of the structure and the content of coarse and fine particles in the debris flow.

Inter-chromosomal insertions into wild-type chromosomes induced by SCRaMbLE

Genomic rearrangements play a crucial role in shaping biological phenotypic diversity and driving species *** chromosome rearrangement and modification by LoxP-mediated evolution(SCRaMbLE)has been applied to explore large-scale genomic rearrangements,yet it has been observed that these rearrangements occur exclusively in genomic regions containing loxPsym ***,we found that SCRaMbLE of synthetic yeast harboring synthetic chromosome V and X can generate a variety of synthetic segment insertions into wild-type chromosomes,ranging from 1 to 300 ***,it was revealed that the novel insertions impacted the transcriptional level of neighboring regions and affected the production of exemplar pathway of ***,our results improve the understanding of the ability of SCRaMbLE to generate complex structural variations in nonsynthetic regions and provide a potential model to explore genomic transposable events.

The Schrodinger cat state produced differently in two directions is anticipated to be a critical quantum resource in quantum information *** exploring the interplay between quantum nonreciprocity and topology in a one-dimensional microcavity array,we obtain the Schrodinger cat state(a pure quantum state)in a chosen direction at the edge cavity,whereas a classical state in the other *** nonreciprocal generation of the cat state originates from the topologically protected chiralitymode excitation in the nontrivial phase,but in the trivial phase,the nonreciprocal generation of cat state ***,our proposal is switchable by tuning the parameters so that a topological phase transition ***,the obtained cat state has nonreciprocal high fidelity,nonclassicality,and quantum coherence,which are sufficient to be used in various one-way quantum technologies,e.g.,invisible quantum sensing,noise-tolerant quantum computing,and chiral quantum *** work provides a general approach to control quantum nonreciprocities with the topological effect,which substantially broadens the fields of nonreciprocal photonics and topological physics.

Characterization,Expression Pattern Analysis,and Cellular Localization of Two Homologous MUC2 Genes in Japanese Flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus)

As a member of mucins family,MUC2 is an important component of mucus,which is characterized by tandem and irregular repeat sequences rich in threonine and *** is strongly expressed by goblet cells that are involved in innate *** flounder is an economically important marine *** this study,two homologous genes of MUC2 were identified,named MUC2-1 and *** on phylogenetic and structural analysis,MUC2-1 and MUC2-2 were clustered in two clades,*** olivaceus MUC2-1 showed a closer relationship with MUC2 in the higher *** healthy tissues were analyzed to determine the expression patterns,and both MUC2 genes showed high expression levels in the gills and *** Edwardsiella tarda challenge,*** MUC2-1 and MUC2-2 both showed significant up-regulated expression in intestine and ***,MUC2-1 was significantly up-regulated in gill cell lines following PGN and polyI:C stimulation,and MUC2-2 was significantly up-regulated in gill cell lines following LPS *** addition,ISH results revealed that MUC2-1 and MUC2-2 showed the same tissue localization in intestine tissues,but displayed different localization in *** siRNA-mediated knockdown of MUC2-1 and MUC2-2 genes in the gill cell lines of Japanese flounder affected the expressions of galnt family genes and smad pathway members that are related to mucosal *** results provided a valuable insight into understanding the functions of MUC2 on mucosal immune system in response to the invasion of bacterial pathogen.

Organic matter is the basis for oil and gas generation,and the depositional environment controls its *** first member of the Qingshankou Formation(K_(2)qn^(1))in Songliao Basin has a thick organic-rich shale and so is an important target section for shale oil exploration and *** the Gulong Sag,shale samples from this unit were collected over the full length of the *** characterization of the environments of deposition(EOD)of K_(2)qn^(1)was improved by utilizing lithological characteristics,thin section observations,elemental compositions,and organic carbon *** with the normalization coefficients proposed in this paper,an organic matter correlation model was established to elucidate the factors that influence organic matter *** the bottom to the top of K2qn1,the lake depth gradually becomes shallower,the primary productivity first decreases and then increases,the reducing conditions become stronger and then weaker,the water salinity gradually decreases,the climate first becomes semi-humid and then warm and humid,and the input of terrigenous debris first decreases and then increases.A major marine transgression at the base of the K_(2)qn^(1)᾽s brought in nutrients to increase primary productivity,and the density-stratified reducing environment preserved and enriched organic *** primary productivity occurred during the middle of the deposition of the K_(2)qn^(1),while terrigenous input is *** matter is preserved in reduced deep lake environments,resulting in organic matter-rich black *** lake became shallower,and the salinity decreased in the upper part of K_(2)qn^(1).Benthic organisms rapidly multiplied,consuming large amounts of oxygen and destroying the previously depositional environment,resulting in a reducing environment disturbed by benthic organisms with poor preservation conditions and the lowest organic matter content.

Semi-Varying Coefficient Panel Data Model with Technical Indicators Predicts Stock Returns in Financial Market

Accurately predicting stock returns is a conundrum in financial *** this conundrum can bring huge economic benefits for investors and also attract the attention of all circles of *** this paper the authors combine semi-varying coefficient model with technical analysis and statistical learning,and propose semi-varying coefficient panel data model with individual effects to explore the dynamic relations between the stock returns from five companies:CVX,DFS,EMN,LYB,and MET and five technical indicators:CCI,EMV,MOM,ln ATR,ln RSI as well as closing price(ln CP),combine semi-parametric fixed effects estimator,semi-parametric random effects estimator with the testing procedure to distinguish fixed effects(FE) from random effects(RE),and finally apply the estimated dynamic relations and the testing set to predict stock returns in December 2020 for the five *** proposed method can accommodate the varying relationship and the interactive relationship between the different technical indicators,and further enhance the prediction accuracy to stock returns.
