We propose a scheme for generating a maximally entangled state of two three-level superconducting quantum interference devices （SQUIDs） by using a quantized cavity field and classical microwave pluses in cavity. In this scheme, no quantum information will be transferred from the SQUIDs to the cavity since the cavity field is only virtually excited. Thus, the cavity decay is suppressed during the entanglement generation.

Fatty acid metabolism is responsible not only for oilseed metabolism but also for plant responses to abiotic stresses. In this study, three novel genes related to fatty acid degradation designated GhACX, Gh4CL, and GhMFP, respectively, were isolated from Gossypium hirsutum acc. TM-1. The phylogenetic analysis revealed that amino acid sequences of GhACXand GhMFP have the highest homology with those from Vitis vinifera, and Gh4CL has a closer genetic relationship with that from Camellia sinensis. Tissue- and organ-specific analysis showed that the three genes expressed widely in all the tested tissues, including ovules and fiber at different developing stages, with expressed preferentially in some organs. Among them, GhACX showed the most abundant transcripts in seeds at 25 d post anthesis （DPA）, however, GhMFP and Gh4CL have the strongest expression level in ovules on the day of anthesis. Based on real-time quantitative RT-PCR, the three genes were differentially regulated when induced under wounding, methyl jasmonate （MeJA）, cold, and abscisic acid （ABA） treatments. The characterization and expression pattern of three novel fatty acid degradation related genes will aid both to understand the roles of fatty acid degradation related genes as precursor in stress stimuli and to elucidate the physiological function in cotton oilseed metabolism.

We present a scheme to entangle fields in multiple cavities. Our scheme is based on the resonant interaction of a ≡-type three-level atom with the cavity fields for precalculated interaction time, which enables us to generate a quantum entangled Greenberger-Horn-Zeilinger （GHZ） state of fields in multiple cavities. In principle, the scheme can be also generalized to generate N-party GHZ state. The required experimental techniques are within the scope of what can be obtained in the microwave cavity QED set up.

Autoantibodies against the α1-adrenoceptor which had agonist activity as norepinephrine might play roles in the progression of hypertension, but whether the autoantibodies could induce vascular remodeling as norepinephrine is not clear. In this paper, the models with antibodies against the α1-adrenoceptor were made by immunizing Wistar rats with the synthesized the second extracellular loop of α1-adrenoceptor peptides. The homo-age male Wistar rats received BSA in the same immunizing manner and male spontaneous hypertensive rats （SHR） were used as control. All the rats were raised for one year. The blood pressure and morphological changes of arteries were measured. In the end, despite the systolic blood pressure of immunized rats had no difference with normal control, the media thickness of aortas and ratio of media to lumen in the third-order arteries of mesenteric vasculature were increased in immunized rats. The observation with electron microscope showed that the mitochondria of vascular smooth muscle cells （VSMCs） had notable hyperplasia, and the interstitial collagen fibril was increased too. The effects of purified antibodies against α1-adrenoceptor on the proliferation of cultured VSMCs, and the expressions of c-jun, c-fos and α1-adrenoceptor were detected. The results showed that the antibodies could promote the proliferation of cultured VSMCs, and enhance the expression of c-jun both in vitro and in vivo. So we concluded that antibodies against the α1-adrenoceptor could contribute to vascular damages in rats by stimulating the growth of VSMCs which might be caused by the increased c-jun expression, and might play particular roles in the pathological changes of hypertension.

Using the topcolor-assisted technicolor models,we give the anomalous Wtb couplings arising from the exchange of the new gauge bosons(ETC gauge boson,colorons and Z')and calculate their contributions to the b→sγbranching *** find that the contributions mainly come from colorons and the recent measured value of the b→sγbranching ratio gives a strong constraint on the masses of colorons.

A practical chemical synthesis of L-camitine （1） has been accomplished from （R）-3-chloro-1,2-propanediol （（R）-4）, which is a main by-product originated from （R,R）-Salen Co（III） catalyzed hydrolytic kinetic resolution （HKR） of （±）-epichlorohydrin. （R）-4 was utilized as a chiral starting material to prepare the key intermediate cyclic sulfite （（R）-S）. The new synthetic approach demonstrated an efficient utilization of organic by-product for the asymmetric synthesis of bioactive compounds.

The chloride penetration resistance of cement-based grout materials was improved by nano-silica *** of mixtures containing different nano-silica particles or emulsions were exposed in sodium chloride solutions of specific concentrations with different test *** properties of the mixes were assessed in terms of weight loss and compressive strength.X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)of mixes were performed to analysis the phase evolution and *** results demonstrated that the introduction of nano-SiO_(2) emulsion significantly decreased the compressive strength loss and calcium hydroxide(CH)crystal content of hydration production,and then enhanced the resistance of cement-based grouting materials to chloride ion *** improvement derives from the filling and pozzolanic effects of nano-SiO_(2) particles,which were incorporated via an emulsion and attributed to a well dispersion in grouting matrix.

A Model on the Source of Language Vagueness

Vagueness of language has long been explored in the fields of philosophy and logic. Although Zadeh put forward fuzzy sets theory which was considered to be a decent quantitative instrument for the study of language vagueness, the source of vagueness still remains a disputed issue. As the study of vagueness goes further, researchers attached more and more attention to the relation between language-cognition- reality, especially in the cognitive field. Thus we found that it would be more satisfied with the issue to construct a relation-model between five factors： reality, concept, human, language, and context. This model, which is different from the semantic triangle in explicating the factors, human and context, may help to explain the nature of vagueness and reclassify the language vagueness.
