A Weakly-Supervised Crowd Density Estimation Method Based on Two-Stage linear Feature Calibration

In a crowd density estimation dataset,the annotation of crowd locations is an extremely laborious task,and they are not taken into the evaluation *** this paper,we aim to reduce the annotation cost of crowd datasets,and propose a crowd density estimation method based on weakly-supervised learning,in the absence of crowd position supervision information,which directly reduces the number of crowds by using the number of pedestrians in the image as the supervised *** this purpose,we design a new training method,which exploits the correlation between global and local image features by incremental learning to train the ***,we design a parent-child network(PC-Net)focusing on the global and local image respectively,and propose a linear feature calibration structure to train the PC-Net simultaneously,and the child network learns feature transfer factors and feature bias weights,and uses the transfer factors and bias weights to linearly feature calibrate the features extracted from the Parent network,to improve the convergence of the network by using local features hidden in the crowd *** addition,we use the pyramid vision transformer as the backbone of the PC-Net to extract crowd features at different levels,and design a global-local feature loss function(L2).We combine it with a crowd counting loss(LC)to enhance the sensitivity of the network to crowd features during the training process,which effectively improves the accuracy of crowd density *** experimental results show that the PC-Net significantly reduces the gap between fullysupervised and weakly-supervised crowd density estimation,and outperforms the comparison methods on five datasets of Shanghai Tech Part A,ShanghaiTech Part B,UCF_CC_50,UCF_QNRF and JHU-CROWD++.

Uncovering the coupling effect with energy-related carbon emissions and human development variety in Chinese provinces

Lessening energy-related carbon emissions has become a crucial measure to achieve Chinese carbon *** study is the first to construct a Difference in Carbon pressures-adjusted Human Development Index(DCHDI)model for the purpose of exploring the coupling effect between carbon emissions and human development variety from 2000 to 2019 in Chinese *** demonstrate the following.(1)The total energy-related carbon footprint of 30 provinces in China reached 10.2 billion tons in 2019,with an average annual growth rate of 6.93% over the past two decades;and the provinces with the highest carbon emissions per capita are InnerMongolia,Ningxia,and Shanxi.(2)At the provincial level,we observed that the Human Development Index(HDI),which includes life expectancy,education,and income,has been rising,while Beijing,Shanghai,and Tianjin entered the super-high HDI level before 2008.(3)The entire coupling effect of 30 Chinese provinces has been broadly fortified in the last 20 years,but the growth rate of DCHDI values in 2011-2019 has slowed down compared with that in 2000-2010;the clustering phenomenon demonstrated that this discovery is associated with historical peaks in total carbon emissions.(4)The co-ordination degree of carbon emissions per capita and HDI was verified,and 96% of the data points were found in the range of super high coupling coordination ***,this study provides the government with worthwhile guidance for decision-making and carbon reduction strategies for other countries struggling to advance human sustainable development.

Enhancing flotation recovery of residual carbon from gasification waste by mixing hydrophobic powder with diesel as collector

Coal gasification fine slag(CGFS)is a solid waste containing residual carbon and ash generated during the coal gasification process,and the separation of the two components is the essential way to realize its environmental pollution reduction and resource value *** flotation is the preferred method for separating CGFS,but there is a barrier of low carbon recovery in this process due to the extensive adsorption of collector by the well-developed pores on residual *** this study,a sufficiently simple yet innovative collector,a mixture of hydrophobic powder and diesel,was proposed in an attempt to break the *** experiments with common diesel and this novel collector were performed respectively,and FTIR,XPS,and SEM-EDX were employed to analyze the collector action *** results revealed that the novel collector could significantly improve the residual carbon recovery;test results demonstrated that the novel collector could increase the hydrophobic functional group content on the fine slag surface,and the hydrophobic powders in this novel collector mainly appeared at the pore openings of the flotation *** essence of the mechanism is that the hydrophobic powders play a dual role of blocking pores and providing adsorption sites,thus facilitating the spreading of diesel on the carbon surface and promoting its *** study can provide creative ideas for the efficient disposal of coal gasification waste.

Cage-confinement synthesis of MoC nanoclusers as efficient sulfiphilic and lithiophilic regulator for superior li–S batteries

High-energy-density li-S batteries are subjected to serious sulfur deactivation and short cycle lifetime caused by undesirable polysulfide shuttle effect and frantic lithium dendrite *** this work,a controllable cage-confinement strategy to fabricate molybdenum carbide(MoC)nanoclusters as a high-efficient sulfiphilic and lithiophilic regulator to mitigate the formidable issues of li-S batteries is *** sub-2 nm MoC nanoclusters not only guarantee robust chemisorption and fast electrocatalytic conversion of polysulfides to enhance the sulfur electrochemistry,but also homogenize li^(+) flux to suppress the lithium dendrite *** a consequence,the MoC-modified separator endows the batteries with boosted reaction kinetics,promoted sulfur utilization,and improved cycling stability.A reversible capacity of 701 mAh·g^(−1) at a high rate of 5.0C and a small decay rate of 0.076%per cycle at 1.0C over 600 cycles are *** study offers a rational route for design and synthesis of bifunctional nanoclusers with both sulfiphilicity and lithiophilicity for high-performance li-S batteries.

Mapping the intellectual structure and emerging trends for the application of nanomaterials in gastric cancer:A bibliometric study

BACKGROUND Recent reviews have outlined the main nanomaterials used in relation to gastrointestinal tumors and described the basic properties of these ***,the research hotspots and trends in the application of nanomaterials in gastric cancer(GC)remain *** To demonstrate the knowledge structure and evolutionary trends of research into the application of nanomaterials in *** Publications related to the application of nanomaterials in GC were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection for this systematic review and bibliometric *** and CiteSpace were used for bibliometric and visualization *** From 2000 to 2022,the application of nanomaterials in GC developed *** keyword co-occurrence analysis showed that the related research topics were divided into three clusters:(1)The application of nanomaterials in GC treatment;(2)The application and toxicity of nanomaterials in GC diagnosis;and(3)The effects of nanomaterials on the biological behavior of GC ***,silver nanoparticles,and green synthesis are the latest high-frequency keywords that represent promising future research *** The application of nanomaterials in GC diagnosis and treatment and the mechanisms of their effects on GC cells have been major themes in this field over the past 23 years.

Manipulating fast li_(2)S redox via carbon confinement and oxygen defect engineering of In_(2)O_(3)for lithium-sulfur batteries

lithium-sulfur(li-S)batteries have been considered as promising energy storage systems due to the merits of high energy density and low ***,the lithium polysulfides(liPSs)diffusion and sluggish redox kinetics hamper the battery *** this work,low-bandgap indium oxide(In_(2)O_(3))with dense oxygen vacancies(In_(2)O_(3−x),0liPSs immobilizer and promoter to address these intractable *** NC confined In_(2)O_(3−x)with rich O vacancies(In_(2)O_(3−x)@NC)lowers the bandgap of 1.78 eV,strengthens the chemical adsorbability to liPSs,and catalyzes the bidirectional li_(2)S *** to the structural and chemical cooperativities,the obtained sulfur electrodes exhibit a stable cycling over 550 cycles at 1.0 C and splendid rate capability up to 4.0 *** significantly,when the sulfur-loading reaches as high as 5.5 mg·cm^(−2),the cathodes achieve an areal capacity of 5.12 mAh·cm^(−2)at 0.1 *** strategy of NC confined catalyst with rich defects engineering demonstrates great promise in the development of practical li-S batteries.

Mechanical reliable,NIR light-induced rapid self-healing hydrogel electrolyte towards flexible zinc-ion hybrid supercapacitors with low-temperature adaptability and long service life

Hydrogel electrolytes hold great potential in flexible zinc ion supercapacitors(ZICs)due to their high conductivity,good safety,and ***,freezing of electrolytes at low temperature(subzero)leads to drastic reduction in ionic conductivity and mechanical properties that deteriorates the performance of flexible ***,the mechanical fracture during arbitrary deformations significantly prunes out the lifespan of the flexible ***,a Zn^(2+)and li^(+)co-doped,polypyrrole-dopamine decorated Sb_(2)S_(3)incorporated,and polyvinyl alcohol/poly(N-(2-hydroxyethyl)acrylamide)double-network hydrogel electrolyte is constructed with favorable mechanical reliability,anti-freezing,and self-healing *** addition,it delivers ultra-high ionic conductivity of 8.6 and 3.7 S m^(-1)at 20 and−30°C,respectively,and displays excellent mechanical properties to withstand tensile stress of 1.85 MPa with tensile elongation of 760%,together with fracture energy of 5.14 MJ m^(-3).Notably,the fractured hydrogel electrolyte can recover itself after only 90 s of infrared illumination,while regaining 83%of its tensile strain and almost 100%of its ionic conductivity during−30–60°***,ZICs coupled with this hydrogel electrolyte not only show a wide voltage window(up to 2 V),but also provide high energy density of 230 Wh kg^(-1)at power density of 500 W kg^(-1)with a capacity retention of 86.7%after 20,000 cycles under 20°***,the ZICs are able to retain excellent capacity even under various mechanical deformation at−30°*** contribution will open up new insights into design of advanced wearable flexible electronics with environmental adaptability and long-life span.

Objectives:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Qishen Yiqi Dripping Pill(QSYQ)in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods:This multicentre prospective cohort study was conducted at 40 centers in *** with ACS after PCI entered either the QSYQ or Western medicine(WM)groups naturally based on whether they had received QSYQ before *** group received QSYQ(0.52 g,3 times a day for 12 months)in addition to *** primary endpoint included cardiac death,non-fatal myocardial infarction,and urgent *** secondary endpoint included rehospitalization due to ACS,heart failure,stroke,and other thrombotic *** of life was assessed by the Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ).Results:A total of 936 patients completed follow-up of the primary endpoint from February 2012 to December ***,487 patients received QSYQ and *** a median follow-up of 566 days(inter quartile range,IQR,517–602),the primary endpoint occurred in 46(9.45%)and 65(14.48%)patients in QSYQ and WM groups respectively[adjusted hazard ratio(HR)0.60,95%confidence interval(CI)0.41–0.90;P=0.013].The secondary endpoint occurred in 61(12.53%)and 74(16.48%)patients in QSYQ and WM groups,respectively(adjusted HR 0.76,95%CI 0.53–1.09;P=0.136).In sensitivity analysis,the results still demonstrated that WM combined with QSYQ reduced the risk of the primary endpoint(HR 0.67,95%CI 0.46–0.98;P=0.039).Moreover,QSYQ improved the disease perception domain of the SAQ(Pnaging ACS after PCI and suggest the potential treatment for reducing the risk of primary endpoint included cardiac death,non-fatal myocardial infarction,and urgent revascularization through intermittent administration of QSYQ.(Registration *** CTR-OOC-14005552).

Brain protective effect of dexmedetomidine vs propofol for sedation during prolonged mechanical ventilation in non-brain injured patients
