Finite-difference(FD) method is the most extensively employed numerical modeling technique. Nevertheless, when using the FD method to simulate the seismic wave propagation, the large spatial or temporal sampling interval can lead to dispersion errors and numerical instability. In the FD scheme, the key factor in determining both dispersion errors and stability is the selection of the FD weights. Thus,How to obtain appropriate FD weights to guarantee a stable numerical modeling process with minimum dispersion error is critical. The FD weights computation strategies can be classified into three types based on different computational ideologies, window function strategy, optimization strategy, and Taylor expansion strategy. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive overview of these three strategies by presenting their fundamental theories. We conduct a set of comparative analyses of their strengths and weaknesses through various analysis tests and numerical modelings. According to these comparisons, we provide two potential research directions of this field: Firstly, the development of a computational strategy for FD weights that enhances stability; Secondly, obtaining FD weights that exhibit a wide bandwidth while minimizing dispersion errors.

Although serving as the workhorse, MS/MS cannot fully satisfy the analytical requirements of quantitative sub-metabolome characterization. Because more information intrinsically correlates to more structural and concentration clues, here, efforts were devoted to comprehensively tracing and deciphering MS/MS behaviors through constructing triple three-dimensional (3x3D)-MS/MS spectrum. Ginsenosides-targeted metabolomics of notoginseng, one of the most famous edible medicinal plants, was employed as a proof-of-concept. Serial authentic ginsenosides were deployed to build the correlations between 3x3D-MS/MS spectra and structure/concentration features. Through assaying ginsenosides with progressive concentrations using QTOF-MS to configure 1(st) 3D spectrum, the generations of MS1 spectral signals, particularly multi-charged multimer anions, e.g., [2M-2H](2-) and [2M+2HCOO](2-) ions, relied on both concentration and the amount of sugar chains. By programming progressive collision energies to the front collision cell of Qtrap-MS device to gain 2(nd) 3D spectrum, optimal collision energy (OCE) corresponding to the glycosidic bond fission was primarily correlated with the masses of precursor and fragment ions and partially governed by the glycosidation site. The quantitative relationships between OCEs and masses of precursor and fragment ions were utilized to build large-scale quantitative program for ginsenosides. After applying progressive exciting energies to the back collision chamber to build 3(rd) 3D spectrum, the fragment ion and the decomposition product anion exhibited identical dissociation trajectories when they shared the same molecular geometry. After ginsenosides-focused quantitative metabolomics, significant differences occurred for sub-metabolome amongst different parts of notoginseng. The differential ginsenosides were confirmatively identified by applying the correlations between 3x3D-MS/MS spectra and structures. Together, 3x3D-MS/MS spectrum covers all

Glioblastoma(GBM) is the most aggressive malignant brain tumor. Due to the infiltration and heterogeneity of GBM, the obstruction of the blood-brain barrier(BBB) and the unique immunosuppressive mechanism, it is hard to achieve significant effects of GBM treatment. Here, a kind of chemotactic nanomotor that loaded with glucose oxidase(GOx) and carboxylated cisplatin(Pt(IV)) prodrug on the L-arginine-derived polymer is proposed. The nanomotors are driven by catalysis of glucose decomposition and the positive chemotaxis towards the GBM microenvironment where inducible nitric oxide synthase and reactive oxygen species are highly expressed. This facilitates the BBB crossing and GBM targeting of the nanomotors. In addition, the released nitric oxide(NO) during propulsion as well as the loaded GOx and Pt(IV) can exert combined NO/starvation/chemotherapy. Meanwhile, it is able to induce and enhance the immune response through multiple pathways, thus better coping with the complexities of GBM treatment.

Accurate modeling for highly non-linear coupling of a damaged ship with liquid sloshing in waves is still of considerable interest within the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)and AI *** paper describes a data-driven Stacking algorithm for fast prediction of roll motion response amplitudes in beam waves by constructing a hydrodynamics model of a damaged ship based on the dynamic overlapping grid CFD *** general idea is to optimize various parameters varying with four types of classical base models like multi-layer perception,support vector regression,random forest,and hist gradient boosting *** offers several attractive properties in terms of accuracy and efficiency by choosing the standard DTMB 5415 model with double damaged compartments for *** is clearly demonstrated that the predicted response amplitude operator(RAO)in the regular beam waves agrees well with the experimental data available,which verifies the accuracy of the established damaged ship hydrodynamics *** high-quality CFD samples,therefore,implementation of the designed Stacking algorithm with its optimal combination can predict the damaged ship roll motion amplitudes effectively and accurately(e.g.,the coefficient of determination 0.9926,the average absolute error 0.0955 and CPU 3s),by comparison of four types of typical base models and their various ***,the established Stacking algorithm provides one potential that can break through problems involving the time-consuming and low efficiency for large-scale lengthy CFD simulations.
