We present here the development of cholesterol(Chol)-modified dendrimer system for targeted chemotherapy of folate(FA)receptor-expressing cancer cells. In our study, poly(amidoamine)(pAMAM) dendrimers of generation 5(G5) were functionalized stepby-step with Chol, fluorescein isothiocyanate(FI), and FA via a poly(ethylene glycol)(pEG) spacer(pEG-FA), and then acetamide to shield their remaining surface amines. The synthesized ***-Chol-FI-pEG-FA(for short, G5-CFpF) dendrimers were utilized to encapsulate 10-hydroxycamptothecin(HCp), a hydrophobic anticancer drug. We find that each G5-CFpF dendrimer can encapsulate 13.8 HCp molecules. The complexes show a slower release profiles of HCp in a pH-dependent manner than the control complexes formed using the same dendrimers without Chol under the same conditions. Thanks to the targeting role played by FA, the complexes display a specific inhibition efficacy to FA receptor-expressing cervical cancer cells. The designed Chol-modified dendrimers may be adopted as a promising carrier for application in targeted cancer therapy.

The outer wall of pollen and spores,namely the exine,is composed of sporopollenin,which is highly resistant to chemical reagents and *** this study,we demonstrated that phenylpropanoid pathway derivatives are essential components of sporopollenin in seed *** analyses showed that the autofluorescence of Lilium and Arabidopsis sporopollenin is similar to that of *** and NMR analyses of pollen from Lilium and Cryptomeria further revealed that the sporopollenin of seed plants contains phenylpropanoid derivatives,including p-hydroxybenzoate(p-BA),p-coumarate(p-CA),ferulate(FA),and lignin guaiacyl(G)*** phenylpropanoid pathway is expressed in the tapetum in Arabidopsis,consistent with the fact that the sporopollenin precursor originates from the *** germination and comet assays showed that this pathway plays an important role in protection of pollen against UV *** the pteridophyte plant species Ophioglossum vulgatum and Lycopodium clavata,phenylpropanoid derivatives including p-BA and p-CA were also detected,but G units were *** together,our results indicate that phenylpropanoid derivatives are essential for sporopollenin synthesis in vascular *** addition,sporopollenin autofluorescence spectra of bryophytes,such as physcomitrella and Haplocladium,exhibit distinct characteristics compared with those of vascular plants,indicating the diversity of sporopollenin among land plants.

Background and Aims:Chronic hepatitis B(CHB)can cause liver fibrosis and lead to cirrhosis and *** the effectiveness of antiviral therapy to reverse liver fibrosis is limited,We aimed to evaluate the effect of An-Luo-Hua-xian pill(ALHX)on fibrosis regression in CHB patients treated with entecavir(ETV).Methods:Treatment-naïve patients with CHB were randomly treated with ETV alone or combined with ALHX(ETV+ALHX)between October 1,2013 and December 31,***,laboratory,and liver histology data before and after 78 weeks of treatment were *** Ishak fibrosis score(F)was used and fibrosis regression required a decrease in F of≥1 after ***:A total of 780 patients were enrolled,and 394 with a second liver biopsy after treatment were included in the per-protocol population,132 in ETV group and 262 in ETV+ALHX *** 78 weeks of treatment,the fibrosis regression rate in the ETV+ALHX group was significantly higher than that of the ETV group at baseline F≥3 patients:124/211(58.8%)vs.45/98(45.9%),p=*** percentage of patients with a decreased liver stiffness measurement(LSM)was higher in the ETV+ALHX group:156/211(73.9%)vs.62/98(63.%),p=*** regression analysis showed that ETV combined with ALHX was associated with fibrosis regression[odds ratio(OR)=1.94,p=0.018],and a family history of hepatocellular carcinoma was on the contrary.(OR=0.41,p=0.031).Conclusions:ETV combined with ALHX increased liver fibrosis regression in CHB patients.

Using e^(+)e^(−)annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb^(−1)taken at the center-of-mass energy√s=3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector,a joint amplitude analysis is performed on the decays D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η).The fit fractions of individual components are obtained,and large interferences among the dominant components of the decays D^(0)→a_(1)(1260)π,D^(0)→π(1300)π,D^(0)→ρ(770)ρ(770),and D^(0)→2(ππ)_(S)are observed in both *** the obtained amplitude model,the Cp-even fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are determined to be(75.2±1.1_(stat).±1.5_(syst.))%and(68.9±1.5_(stat).±2.4_(syst.))%,*** branching fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are measured to be(0.688±0.010_(stat.)±0.010_(syst.))%and(0.951±0.025_(stat.)±0.021_(syst.))%,*** amplitude analysis provides an important model for the binning strategy in measuring the strong phase parameters of D^(0)→4πwhen used to determine the CKM angleγ(ϕ_(3))via the B^(−)→DK^(−)decay.

The Circular Electron positron Collider(CEpC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV Damp.ng Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and Damp.ng Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super proton proton Collider(SppC).The CEpC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(Ip),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two Ips over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEpC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical Design Report(TDR)follows the preliminary Conceptual Design Report(pre-CDR,2015)and the Conceptual Design Report(CDR,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&D and prototyp.ng efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.

Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer(NMIBC)is a major type of bladder cancer with a high incidence worldwide,resulting in a great disease *** and surveillance are the most important part of NIMBC *** 2018,we issued“Treatment and surveillance for non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer in China:an evidencebased clinical practice guideline”.Since then,various studies on the treatment and surveillance of NMIBC have been *** is a need to incorporate these materials and also to take into account the relatively limited medical resources in primary medical institutions in *** a version of guideline which takes these two issues into account to promote the management of NMIBC is therefore *** formed a working group of clinical experts and *** questionnaire investigation of clinicians including primary medical institutions,24 clinically concerned issues,involving transurethral resection of bladder tumor(TURBT),intravesical chemotherapy and intravesical immunotherapy of NMIBC,and follow-up and surveillance of the NMIBC patients,were determined for this *** and recommendations on the management of NMIBC in databases,guideline development professional societies and monographs were referred to,and the European Association of Urology was used to assess the certainty of generated ***,we issued 29 statements,among which 22 were strong recommendations,and 7 were weak *** recommendations cover the topics of TURBT,postoperative chemotherapy after TURBT,Bacillus Calmette–Guérin(BCG)immunotherapy after TURBT,combination treatment of BCG and chemotherapy after TURBT,treatment of carcinoma in situ,radical cystectomy,treatment of NMIBC recurrence,and follow-up and *** hope these recommendations can help promote the treatment and surveillance of NMIBC in China,especially for the primary medical institutions.

为探讨硫素添加对土壤-水稻系统中砷迁移转化的影响,通过在添加砷的污染土壤中施加不同形态硫素,采集全生育期土壤溶液和成熟期水稻植株样品,分析硫素添加对砷移动性、生物有效性以及水稻砷吸收的影响。结果表明:微生物在影响土壤溶液中Fe(Ⅱ)和砷的移动性方面起到了重要作用,灭菌处理与不灭菌处理差异较大;硫素的添加降低了根际、非根际土壤溶液中砷的移动性,降低了As(Ⅲ)的浓度,从而降低了砷的毒性;硫素添加也降低了根际土壤中砷的生物有效性,相同硫含量的硫酸钠比单质硫的影响更显著。硫素添加促进了水稻的生长,促进了水稻根表铁膜的形成,一定程度降低了水稻地上部对砷的累积,但是过量硫素的施用可能会增加水稻米粒中砷的累积。
