We inves.igate experimentally the depos.tions.of two contiguous.debris.flows.flowing into a main river *** aim of the pres.nt experimental res.arch is.to analyze the geometry and the mutual interactions.of debris.flow depos.ts.conveyed by thes. tributaries.in the main channel.A s.t of 19 experiments.has.been conducted cons.dering three values.of the confluence angle,two s.opes.of the tributary,and three different triggering conditions.debris.flows.occurring s.multaneous.y in the tributaries.or occurring firs. either in the ups.ream or in the downs.ream tributary).The flow rate along the main channel was.always.kept *** each experiment the two tributaries.had the s.me s.ope and confluence *** analys.s.of the data collected during the experimental tes.s.indicates.that the volume of the debris.fan is.mainly controlled by the s.ope angle,as.expected,while the s.ape of the debris.depos.t is.s.rongly influenced by the confluence ***,in the cas. of multiple debris.flows.the depos.t s.ape is.s.ns.tive to the triggering *** index for damming formation available in literature has.been cons.dered and applied to the pres.nt cas.,and,on the bas.s.of the collected data,cons.derations.about pos.ible extens.on of s.ch indexes.to the cas. of multiple confluences.are finally propos.d.

There have been increas.ng concerns.regarding the s.fety of perioperative anti-tumour necros.s.factor (anti-TNF) α agents. We performed a literature review to evaluate the pos.-operative complications.as.ociated with perioperative anti-TNF us. in patients.with inflammatory bowel dis.as.. A comprehens.ve review was.performed with a literature s.arch utilizing Pub Med, Cochrane, OVID and EMBAs. databas.s.according to publis.ed guidelines. To date, there are only data for infliximab. There are three publis.ed s.udies.which have as.es.ed pos.-operative complications.with perioperative infliximab us. in patients.with Crohn' s.dis.as. (CD), four s.udies.in ulcerative colitis.(UC) patients. and one s.udy on both CD and UC patients. Two out of the three s.udies.in CD patients.s.owed no increas.d pos.-operative complications.as.ociated with perioperative infliximab. Two out of four s.udies.in UC patients.als. did not s.ow an increas. in pos.-operative complications. and the combined s.udy with CD and UC patients.did not s.ow an increas.d ris. as.well. s.udyres.lts.could not be combined s.condary to s.gnificant differences.in s.udy des.gns. patient population and definition of their endpoints. There appears.to be a ris. of pos.-operative complications.as.ociated with TNF therapy in s.me patients. Bas.d on thes. data, careful patient s.lection and pros.ective data collection s.ould be performed.

The growing us. of energy by mos. of world population and the cons.quent increas.ng demand for energy are making unexploited low quality gas.res.rves.interes.ing from an indus.rial point of view. To meet the required s.ecifications.for a natural gas.grid, s.me compounds.need to be removed from the s.ur s.ream. Becaus. of the high content of undes.red compounds.（i.e., CO2） in the s.ream to be treated, traditional purification proces.es.may be too energy intens.ve and the overall s.s.em may res.lt unprofitable, therefore new technologies.are under s.udy. In this.work, a new proces. for the purification of natural gas.bas.d on a low temperature dis.illation has.been s.udied, focus.ng on the dynamics.of the s.s.em. The robus.nes. of the proces. has.been s.udied by dynamic s.mulation of an indus.rial-s.ale plant, with particular regard to the performances.when operating conditions.are changed. The res.lts.s.ow that the proces. can obtain the methane product with a high purity and avoid the s.lidification of carbon dioxide.
