Human pluripotent stem cell(hPSC)-derived kidney organoids share similarities with the fetal ***,the current hPSC-derived kidney organoids have some limitations,including the inability to perform nephrogenesis and lack of a corticomedullary definition,uniform vascular system,and coordinated exit path-way for urinary ***,further studies are required to produce hPSC-derived kidney organoids that accurately mimic human kidneys to facilitate research on kidney development,regeneration,disease modeling,and drug *** this review,we discussed recent advances in the generation of hPSC-derived kidney organoids,how these organoids contribute to the understanding of human kidney development and research in disease ***,the limitations,future research focus,and applications of hPSC-derived kidney organoids were highlighted.

Climate change alters snowpack evolution,which in turn influences the likelihood of snow avalanches and flood *** lack of systemic observational data on key snow characteristics in high mountains remains a scientific challenge in terms of systematically elucidating the dynamic chain of variations in climate-snowpack-snow *** restricts our understanding and poses challenges in the prediction of snow-related disaster *** such,this study analysed the variations of temperature and snowfall and the physical characteristics of snowpacks based on ground-based observations from the Kunse River Valley situated in the Tianshan Mountains from 1967 to *** results reveal that the temperature increased significantly by 0.32.C per decade(p2.2.,which is characterised by later snow-cover onset and earlier ***,average and maximum snow depths increased along with an increase in peak snow water equivalent,thus indicating a higher frequency of extremely scarce or abundant snow *** low snowpack temperature gradient and earlier snowmelt dates in spring lead to earlier occurrences of snowmelt floods and wet *** the risks of these events increase,they pose greater threats to farmlands,road transportation,water-electricity infrastructure and several other human ***,these insights are critical for providing vital information that can deepen our understanding of the impact of climate change on snowpack characteristics and improve management strategies for snow-related disaster prevention and mitigation.

Wind is the primary challenge for low-speed fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles to follow a predefined flight *** cope with various wind conditions,this paper proposes a wind disturbance compensated path following control strategy where the wind disturbance estimate is incorporated with the nominal guiding vector field to provide the desired airspeed direction for the *** the control input vector for the outer-loop kinematic subsystem needs to satisfy a magnitude constraint,a scaling mechanism is introduced to tune the proportions of the compensation and nominal ***,an optimization problem is formulated to pursue a maximum wind compensation in strong winds,which can be solved analytically to yield two scaling factors.A cascaded inner-loop tracking controller is also designed to fulfill the outer-loop wind disturbance compensated guiding vector ***-fidelity simulation results under sensor noises and realistic winds demonstrate that the proposed path following algorithm is less sensitive to sensor noises,achieves promising accuracy in normal winds,and mitigates the deviation from a desired path in wild winds.

Elastomers with high strength and toughness,excellent self-healing properties,and biocompatibility have broad application prospects in wearable electronics and other fields,but preparing it remains a *** this work,we propose a highly adaptable strategy by introducing the small molecule crosslinking agent of triethanolamine(TEA)to the poly(thioctic acid)(PTA)chains and preparing the PAx Ey elastomers using a simple synthesis *** strategy stabilizes the PTA chains by constructing multiple non-covalent cross-linked dynamic networks,endowing materials with excellent strength and toughness(tensile strength of 2.8 kPa,toughness of 2.8.2.kJ/m3),admirable self-healing properties(self-healing efficiency of 12..6%within 7 h at 70℃),and good *** PAx Ey elastomers can also be combined with MWNTs to become flexible strain sensors,which can be used to monitor human joint movements with high sensitivity,repeatable responses,and stability.
