Despite the successful application of immune checkpoint therapy,no response or recurrence is typical in lung *** stem cells(CSCs)have been identified as a crucial player in immunotherapy-related ***,a form of cell death driven by iron-dependent lipid peroxidation,is highly regulated by cellular metabolism remolding and has been shown to have synergistic effects when combined with *** adaption of CsCs drives tumor resistance,yet the mechanisms of their ferroptosis defense in tumor immune evasion remain ***,through metabolomics,transcriptomics,a lung epithelialspecific Cptla-knockout mouse model,and clinical analysis,we demonstrate that CPT1A,a key rate-limiting enzyme of fatty acid oxidation,acts with l-carnitine,derived from tumor-associated macrophages to drive ferroptosis-resistance and CD8^(+)T cells inactivation in lung ***,CPT1A restrains ubiquitination and degradation of c-Myc,while c-Myc transcriptionally activates CPT1A *** CPT1A/c-Myc positive feedback loop further enhances the cellular antioxidant capacity by activating the NRF2/GPX4 system and reduces the amount of phospholipid polyunsaturated fatty acids through ACSl4 downregulating,thereby suppressing ferroptosis in ***,targeting CPT1A enhances immune checkpoint blockadeinduced anti-tumor immunity and tumoral ferroptosis in tumor-bearing *** results illustrate the potential of a mechanismguided therapeutic strategy by targeting a metabolic vulnerability in the ferroptosis of CsCs to improve the efficacy of lung cancer immunotherapy.

kaempferol ameliorated levodopa-induced dyskinesia in experimental rats: A role of brain monoamines, cFOS, FosB, Parkin, Pdyn, TH, and p-JNk

Background:l-dopa(levodopa)is well known for managing PD(Parkinson’s disease);however,its prolonged use caused dyskinesia(lID).Due to the varied presentation of lID,effective treatment options are *** reported their neuroprotective activity by ameliorating acetylcholinesterase,monoamine oxidase,and neuroinﬂ*** is anotherﬂavonoid bearing these ***:To evaluate neuroprotective activity of kaempferol in dyskinetic ***:PD was developed in Sprague-Dawley rats by injecting combination of l-ascorbic acid(10µl)+6-OHDA(12µg)in medial forebrain bundle to induce neuronal damage in substantial nigra(SNr).lID was induced by administrating combination of l-dopa(20 mg/kg)+benserazide HCl(5 mg/kg)for 42 *** were concomitantly treated with amantadine(40 mg/kg)or kaempferol(25,50,and 100 mg/kg,p.o.).Results:kaempferol(50 and 100 mg/kg)markedly(plID-induced abnormal involuntary movements(AIMs)and alternation in motor *** administration considerably(pl complex activities,serotonin and dopamine levels,Bcl-2,and Tyrosine hydroxylase protein expressions in ***,kaempferol considerably(pkin,and Pdyn mRNAs expressions,Bax,cleaved caspase-3,caspase-3,and pJNk proteins levels;DOPAC and 5-HIAA levels in SNr.A positive correlation was reported between cFOS,FosB,Parkin,Pdyn,apoptosis,and TH with ***:kaempferol effectively attenuated l-dopa-induced AIMs and dyskinesia via amelioration of alterations in cFOS,FosB,Parkin,Pdyn,Tyrosine hydroxylase,and apoptosis in the brain SNr.

Modularized sulfur storage achieved by 100% space utilization host for high performance lithium-sulfur batteries

Popularization of lithium-sulfur batteries(lSBs) is still hindered by shuttle effect and volume ***, a new modularized sulfur storage strategy is proposed to solve above problems and accomplished via employing 100% space utilization host material of cobalt loaded carbon nanoparticles derived from ZIF-67. The modular dispersed storage of sulfur not only greatly increases the proportion of active sulfur,but also inhibits the occurrence of volume expansion. Meanwhile, 100% space utilization host material can greatly improve the conductivity of the cathode, provide a larger electrolyte wetting interface and effectively suppress the shuttle effect. Moreover, loaded cobalt particles have high catalytic activity for electrochemical reaction and can effectively improve the redox kinetics. The cell with new cathode host material carbonized at 650 ℃(ZIF-67(650 ℃)) exhibits superior rate performance and can maintain a high specific capacity of 950 m Ah/g after 100 cycles at 0.2 C, showing a good cycle stability.

Promoted Non-enzymatic Glucose Sensor Based on Synergistic Effect of Hydrothermal Synthesized Ni(OH)2-Graphene Nanocomposite

Although glucose electrochemical sensors based on enzymes play a dominant role in market, their stability remains a problem due to the inherent nature of enzymes. Therefore, glucose sensors that are independent on enzymes have attracted more attention for the development of stable detection devices. Here we present an enzyme-free glucose sensor based on Ni(OH)(2) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO). The as-fabricated sensor still exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activity for detecting glucose under enzyme independent conditions. The enhanced catalytic performance may due to synergistic effect as follows: (i) the interaction between the Ni2+ and pi electron of graphene induces the formation of the beta-phase Ni(OH)(2) with higher catalytic activity; (ii) the frozen dry process works as a secondary filtration, getting rid of poorly formed Ni(OH)(2) particles with low catalytic activity; (iii) the rGO network with good conductivity provides a good electronic pathway for promoting electron transfer to reduce the response time. Based on the synergistic effect, the sensor exhibits a wide linear detection range from 0.2 mu mol/l to 1.0 mu mol/l and a low detection limit (0.1 mu mol/l, S/N=3). The excellent detection performance, as well as the easy and low-cost preparation method, suggests the promising applicability of the sensor in the glucose detection market.

Incorporating lasso Regression to Physics-Informed Neural Network for Inverse PDE Problem

Partial Differential Equation(PDE)is among the most fundamental tools employed to model dynamic *** PDE modeling methods are typically derived from established knowledge and known phenomena,which are time-consuming and ***,discovering governing PDEs from collected actual data via Physics Informed Neural Networks(PINNs)provides a more efficient way to analyze fresh dynamic systems and establish *** study proposes Sequentially Threshold least Squares-lasso(STlasso),a module constructed by incorporating lasso regression into the Sequentially Threshold least Squares(STlS)algorithm,which can complete sparse regression of PDE coefficients with the constraints of l0 *** further introduces PINN-STlasso,a physics informed neural network combined with lasso sparse regression,able to find underlying PDEs from data with reduced data requirements and better *** addition,this research conducts experiments on canonical inverse PDE problems and compares the results to several recent *** results demonstrated that the proposed PINN-STlasso outperforms other methods,achieving lower error rates even with less data.

A soft-contact hybrid electromagnetic–triboelectric nanogenerator for self-powered water splitting towards hydrogen production

The effective acquisition of hydrogen energy from the ocean offers a promising sustainable solution for increasing global energy ***,a self-powered high-efficient hydrogen generation system is proposed by integrating a triboelectric–electromagnetic hybrid nanogenerator(TEHG),power management circuit(PMC),and an electrolytic *** the wind triggering,as-fabricated TEHG can effectively convert breeze energy into electric energy,which demonstrates a high output current of 20.3 ma at a speed rotation of 700 rpm and the maximal output power of 13.8 mW at a load of 10 MΩ.Remarkably,asdesigned self-powered system can perform a steady and continuous water splitting to produce hydrogen(1.5μl·min^(−1))by adding a matching capacitor between the PMC and electrolytic *** the circuit,the capacitor can not only function as a charge compensation source for water splitting,but also stabilize the working *** other self-powered water splitting systems,the proposed system does not need catalysts or the complex electrical energy storage/release process,thus improving the hydrogen production efficiency and reducing the *** work provides an effective strategy for clean hydrogen energy production and demonstrates the huge potential of the constructed self-powered system toward carbon neutralization.

Hydrogen release of NaBH_(4) below 60 ℃ with binary eutectic mixture of xylitol and erythritol additive

NaBH_(4) was widely regarded as a low-cost hydrogen storage material due to its high-mass hydrogen capacity of approximately 10.8%(mass)and high volumetric hydrogen capacity of around 115 g·l^(–1).However,it exhibits strong stability and requires temperatures above 500℃ for hydrogen release in practical *** this study,two polyhydric alcohols,xylitol and erythritol(XE),were prepared as a binary eutectic sugar alcohol through a grinding-melting *** binary eutectic sugar alcohol was used as a proton-hydrogen carrier to destabilize NaBH_(4).The 19NaBH_(4)-16XE composite material prepared by ball milling could start releasing hydrogen at 57.5℃,and the total hydrogen release can reach over 88.8%(4.45%(mass))of the theoretical *** the 19NaBH_(4)-16XE composite was pressed into solid blocks,the volumetric hydrogen capacity of the block-shaped composite could reach 67.2 g·l^(–1).By controlling the temperature,the hydrogen desorption capacity of the NaBH_(4)-XE composite material was controllable,which has great potential for achieving solid-state hydrogen production from NaBH_(4).

Ammonia storage and slip under steady and transient state in close-coupled SCR

Effect of Shape and Placement of Twisted Pin Fins in a Rectangular Channel on Thermo-Hydraulic Performance

To enhance the thermo-hydraulic performance of cooling channels,this investigation examines the influence of distinct cross-sectional shapes(i.e.,triangular,rectangular,and hexagonal)of twisted pin fins and their arrangements in straight and cross *** ambient air cooling test platform was established to numerically and experimentally investigate the flow and heat transfer characteristics of 360°twisted pin fins at Re=*** findings reveal that straight rows exhibit higher Nu values than cross rows for triangular and rectangular twisted pin fins,and Nu increases with *** contrast,for hexagonal twisted pin fins,only straight rows at Re=19000 exhibit superior overall thermal performance compared to cross ***,the heat transfer performance of the cooling channel with hexagonal twisted fins surpasses both triangular and rectangular configurations,especially at high Reynolds numbers(Re=22800).Although the heat transfer coefficient of the cooling channel with hexagonal twisted fins is significantly enhanced by 132.71%compared to the flat channel,it also exhibits the highest thermal resistance and relative friction among the three types of twisted fins,the maximum of which are 2.14 and ***,the hydrothermal performance factor(HTPF)of the cooling channels with different types of twisted pin fins depends on the Reynolds number and arrangement *** Re=15200,the highest HTPF achieved for the cross-row hexagonal twisted pin fins is 0.99.
