The solid solutions of the(1-x)Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3-x)Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3) system were produced by the conventional ceramic technology using mechanical activation of the synthesized *** was found that in the(1-x)Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3-x)Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3) system at room temperature,a number of morphotropic phase transitions occur:rhombohedral!cubic!tetragonal!monoclinic *** introduction of a small amount of Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3) leads to an increase in the temperature stability of the dielectric properties of ceramics.A change in the relaxor properties of the solid solutions of the(1-x)Na_(0.5)Bi_(0.5)TiO_(3-x)Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3) system was *** increase in energy density and energy efficiency was found at additive 10 mol.%of Na_(0.5)K_(0.5)NbO_(3).

Dear Editor,This letter concerns the parameter tuning problem for nonlinear satellite buffer networks with communication delays, aiming to optimize their stability properties under l_(1)-gain. We first model the satellite buffer networks by a nonlinear time-delay positive system and propose a novel characterization under which the nonlinear system is asymptotically stable with a prescribed l_(1)-induced performance.

The aorto-ventricular tunnel is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly. We present a case of aorto-ventricular tunnel diagnosed via fetal echocardiography. Emergency surgery was performed on the 2nd day of life to close the tunnel, located just in front of the right coronary ostium, due to the patient’s unstable health condition. The postoperative period revealed complete occlusion of the right coronary artery. Due to the patient’s stability, we opted not to reintervene on the right coronary artery. The patient fully recovered without the need for further coronary intervention. In cases of patients with an aorto-ventricular tunnel (AvT) and associated coronary lesions, it is crucial to exercise caution when intervening in the coronary arteries. © 2024, Tech Science Press. Anomalous ion heat transport is analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plasma heated with electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH) in second-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. Predictive modeling with empirical scaling for Ohmical heat conductivity shows that in ECRH plasmas the calculated ion temperature could be overestimated, so an increase of anomalous ion heat transport is required. To study this effect two scans are presented: over the EC resonance position and over the ECRH power. The EC resonance position varies from the high-field side to the low-field side by variation of the toroidal magnetic field. The scan over the heating power is presented with on-axis and mixed ECRH regimes. Discharges with high anomalous ion heat transport are obtained in all considered regimes. In these discharges the power balance ion heat conductivity exceeds the neoclassical level by up to 10 times. The high ion heat transport regimes are distinguished by three parameters: the ratio Te/Ti, the normalized electron density gradient R/■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The combination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and R/■=6-10 results in values of normalized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher than in the low transport scenario.

We present detailed characterization of laser-driven fusion and neutron production(-10^(5)/second) using 8 mJ, 40 fs laser pulses on a thin(liquid sheet employing a measurement suite. At relativistic intensity(~ 5 × 10^(18)W/cm^(2))and high repetition rate(1 kHz), the system produces deuterium±deuterium(D-D) fusion, allowing for consistent neutron generation. Evidence of D-D fusion neutron production is verified by a measurement suite with three independent detection systems: an EJ-309 organic scintillator with pulse-shape discrimination, a ~3He proportional counter and a set of 36 bubble detectors. Time-of-flight analysis of the scintillator data shows the energy of the produced neutrons to be consistent with 2.45 Mev. Particle-in-cell simulations using the WarpX code support significant neutron production from D-D fusion events in the laser±target interaction region. This high-repetition-rate laser-driven neutron source could provide a low-cost, on-demand test bed for radiation hardening and imaging applications.
