In recent times,real time wireless networks have found their applicability in several practical applications such as smart city,healthcare,surveillance,environmental monitoring,*** the same time,proper localization of nodes in real time wireless networks helps to improve the overall functioning of *** study presents an Improved Metaheuristics based Energy Efficient Clustering with Node localization(IM-EECNl)approach for real-time wireless *** proposed IM-EECNl technique involves two major processes namely node localization and ***,Chaotic Water Strider Algorithm based Node localization(CWSANl)technique to determine the unknown position of the ***,an Oppositional Archimedes Optimization Algorithm based Clustering(OAOAC)technique is applied to accomplish energy efficiency in the ***,the OAOAC technique derives afitness function comprising residual energy,distance to cluster heads(CHs),distance to base station(BS),and *** performance validation of the IM-EECNl technique is carried out under several aspects such as localization and energy efficiency.A wide ranging comparative outcomes analysis highlighted the improved performance of the IM-EECNl approach on the recent approaches with the maximum packet delivery ratio(PDR)of 0.985.

An instability in the stable operation of microdischarges sustained at microwave frequencies,is investigated by a self-consistent one-dimensional particle-in-cell Monte Carlo collisions *** instability is caused by the field electron emission from electrodes and is triggered by the high electric fields at the sheaths in a dense *** an operating frequency of 9 GHz,and electrode gap of 60μm,the field emission(FE)is not active at the breakdown ***,once a stable dense plasma is produced post-breakdown,a strong sheath results in an electrode electric fields that exceed the threshold for FE causing a runaway in the electron generation in the plasma.

Maize (Zea mays l.) is a critical staple crop globally, integral to human consumption, food security, and agricultural product stability. The quality and purity of maize seeds, essential for hybrid seed production, are contingent upon effective detasseling. This study investigates the evolution of detasseling technologies and their application in Chinese maize hybrid seed production, with a comparative analysis against the United States. A comprehensive examination of the development and utilization of detasseling technology in Chinese maize hybrid seed production was undertaken, with a specific focus on key milestones. Data from the United States were included for comparative purposes. The analysis encompassed various detasseling methods, including manual, semi-mechanized, and cytoplasmic male sterility, as well as more recent innovations such as detasseling machines, and the emerging field of intelligent detasseling driven by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), computer vision, and mechanical arms. Mechanized detasseling methods were predominantly employed by America. Despite the challenges of inflexible and occasionally overlooked, applying detasseling machines is efficient and reliable. At present, China’ s detasseling operations in hybrid maize seed production are mainly carried out by manual work, which is labor-intensive and inefficient. In order to address this issue, China is dedicated to developing intelligent detasseling technology. This study emphasizes the critical role of detasseling in hybrid maize seed production. The United States has embraced mechanized detasseling. The application and development of manual and mechanized detasseling were applied later than those in the United States, but latest intelligent detasseling technologies first appeared in China. On the functions of astrocyte-mediated neuronal slow inward currents

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for thermometers based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)concentrations,energy transfer(ET)processes such as optical reabsorption and cross-relaxation can affect the Nd^(3+)emission,which has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluorescence thermometers,in the temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indicate a strong dependence of the FIR parameters on the Nd^(3+)concentration,due to changes in the emission band profiles caused by optical reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)emissions and cross-relaxation processes.A decrease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with higher amounts of Nd^(3+).The maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,which is the highest value among the reported Nd^(3+)ions.

Based on the long wave limit method,the general form of the second-order and third-order rogue wave solutions to the focusing nonlinear Schr?dinger equation are given by introducing some arbitrary *** interaction solutions between the first-order rogue wave and one-breather wave are constructed by taking a long wave limit on the two-breather *** applying the same method to the three-breather solutions,two types of interaction solutions are obtained,namely the first-order rogue wave and two breather waves,the second-order rogue wave and one-breather wave,*** influence of the parameters related to the phase on the interaction phenomena is graphically *** occur among the rogue waves and breather *** the collisions,the shape of them remains *** abundant interaction phenomena in this paper will contribute to a better understanding of the propagation and control of nonlinear waves.

Distributed swarm control for multi-robot systems inspired by shepherding behaviors

Swarming behaviors play an eminent role in both biological and engineering research, and show great potential applications in many emerging fields. Traditional swarming models still lack integrity, uniformity, and stability in swarm forming processes,resulting in fragmentation and void phenomena. Inspired by the shepherding behaviors observed in nature, we propose an integrated negotiation-control scheme for distributed swarm control of massive robots. The core idea of this scheme is that the robots at the boundary of the group herd the internal robots to form an equilibrium swarm. For this purpose, we introduce a concept of virtual group center towards which boundary robots herd internal robots. Then, a distributed negotiation mechanism is designed to allow each robot to negotiate the virtual group center only through local interactions with its neighbors. After that, we propose a shepherding-inspired swarm control law to drive a group of robots to form an integrated, uniform, and stable configuration from any initial states. Both numerical and flight simulations are presented to verify the effectiveness of our proposed swarm control scheme.

Since its discovery, superfluidity [1,2] remains one of the most remarkable phenomena in quantum physics. The onset of the quantum regime in liquid helium is visually striking, when the fluid flows without dissipation or detaches from a rotating bucket, remaining still upon soft rotations. The same phenomenon is present in the context of ultracold bosonic quantum gases where, most of the time, superfluidity walks hand-in-hand with the transition to Bose−Einstein condensation [3].
