Effects of ulinastatin combined with dexmedetomidine on cognitive dysfunction and emergence agitation in elderly patients who underwent total hip arthroplasty

Anode-free li-metal batteries are of significant interest to energy storage industries due to their intrinsically high ***,the accumulative li dendrites and dead li continuously consume active li during *** results in a short lifetime and low Coulombic efficiency of anode-free li-metal *** effective electrolyte additives can improve the li deposition homogeneity and solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)stability for anode-free li-metal ***,we reveal that introducing dual additives,composed of liAsF6 and fluoroethylene carbonate,into a low-cost commercial carbonate electrolyte will boost the cycle life and average Coulombic efficiency of NMC‖Cu anode-free li-metal *** NMC‖Cu anode-free li-metal batteries with the dual additives exhibit a capacity retention of about 75%after 50 cycles,much higher than those with bare electrolytes(35%).The average Coulombic efficiency of the NMC‖Cu anode-free li-metal batteries with additives can maintain 98.3%over 100 *** contrast,the average Coulombic efficiency without additives rapidly decline to 97%after only 50 *** situ Raman measurements reveal that the prepared dual additives facilitate denser and smoother li morphology during li *** dual additives significantly suppress the li dendrite growth,enabling stable SEI formation on anode and cathode *** results provide a broad view of developing low-cost and high-effective functional electrolytes for high-energy and long-life anode-free li-metal batteries.

For decades,researchers have known that when neurons lose their activating inputs,they can atrophy and even *** example,removing sensory nerve inputs from the arm to the spinal cord after amputation or cutting the spinal nerves can shrink the post-synaptic target zones(e.g.,Woods et al.,2000).From touch receptors for the hand and arm,primary nerve afferents enter the spinal cord,and axons travel in the dorsal columns to target the cuneate nucleus(Cu)of the brainstem on the same side of the body(Figure 1).When sensory loss is unilateral,the overwhelming result is for the associated primary target zone to shrink in total size(cross-sectional area),as compared to the size of the opposite side.

Introduction:lysinuric protein intolerance(lPI)is a rare genetic disorder caused by mutations in the solute carrier family 7A member 7(SlC7A7)*** presentation:We presented two siblings with lPI,carrying novel mutations of c.776delT(p.l259Rfs*18)and c.155G>T(p.G52V)in *** younger sibling,preferring protein-rich foods,showed severe symptoms,including alveolar proteinosis,macrophage activation syndrome,severe diarrhea,and disturbance of consciousness with involuntary *** contrast,the elder sibling only had mild symptoms,likely due to aversion to protein-rich food since toddler ***:lPI is a congenital genetic metabolic disease with multisystem *** appropriate protein-restricted diet therapy as soon as possible could help prevent the progression of lPI.

Flexible UV detectors based on in-situ hydrogen doped amorphous Ga_(2)O_(3) with high photo-to-dark current ratio

Amorphous Ga_(2)O_(3)(a-Ga_(2)O_(3))has been attracting more and more attention due to its unique merits such as wide bandgap(∼4.9 eV),low growth temperature,large-scale uniformity,low cost and energy efficient,making it a powerful competitor in flexible deep ultraviolet(UV)*** the responsivity of the ever-reported a-Ga_(2)O_(3)UV photodetectors(PDs)is usually in the level of hundreds of A/W,it is often accompanied by a large dark current due to the presence of abundant oxygen vacancy(VO)defects,which severely limits the possibility to detect weak signals and achieve versatile *** this work,the VO defects in a-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films are successfully passivated by in-situ hydrogen doping during the magnetron sputtering *** a result,the dark current of a-Ga_(2)O_(3)UV PD is remarkably suppressed to 5.17×10^(-11) A at a bias of 5 ***,the photocurrent of the corresponding device is still as high as 1.37×10^(-3)A,leading to a high photo-to-dark current ratio of 2.65×107 and the capability to detect the UV light with the intensity below 10 nW cm^(-2).Moreover,the h-doped a-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films have also been deposited on polyethylene naphtholate substrates to construct flexible UV PDs,which exhibit no great degradation in bending states and fatigue *** results demonstrate that hydrogen doping can effectively improve the performance of a-Ga_(2)O_(3)UV PDs,further promoting its practical application in various areas.

hetero-phase zirconia encapsulated with Au nanoparticles for boosting electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction

Electrocatalytic nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is considered as an attractive approach for ammonia synthesis under mild conditions.A bottleneck of NRR is the exploration of efficient catalysts for accelerating reaction kinetics,among which heterogeneous structures possessing distinct atomic arrangement could modify electronic structure,and therefore altering their NRR ***,we report a facile strategy for fabricating hetero-phase metal oxides derived from metal organic framework that are further integrated with Au nanoparticles as NRR *** phase composition of zirconia can be easily adjusted by simply changing the reaction temperature,where the monoclinic and tetragonal phases with the roughly close proportions have a distinct interface,leading to a strong interaction between Au and ZrO_(2).The enhanced interaction renders Au to be more electropositive and facilitates stronger binding to N_(2).As a result,a remarkable ammonia yield of 22.32μg h^(-1)mg_(cat.)^(-1) and a Faradaic efficiency of 31.92%can be achieved at low *** work is expected to pave the way for the design of heterogeneous structures and the exploration of hetero-phase nanostructures in boosting the electrocatalytic NRR.

Wind power data pricing method based on an alliance cooperation game

To give full play to the value of wind power data and bring extra profit to a wind farm, this paper proposes a wind power data pricing method based on alliance cooperation game theory. First, a wind power data trading process and pricing approach considering third-party supervision are proposed. Secondly, adjacent station data is obtained through data trading, and a vector autoregressive model is used to improve wind power forecasting accuracy, thereby reducing imbalance costs in electricity market transactions, increasing the overall generation profit of wind power plants, and reflecting the value of the traded data. Then, the excess profit generated before and after data trading (i.e., the increase in generation profit using traded data) is distributed to the data sellers as the pricing of the traded data using an alliance cooperation game, quantitatively measuring the value of the data. Finally, considering the spatio-temporal characteristics of wind power, the data trading parties are determined by maximizing the data value, achieving fair and reasonable data pricing. The case analysis results demonstrate that the proposed method can enhance wind power forecasting accuracy, increase wind farm generation profits, and achieve fairness and rationality in wind power data pricing. © 2024 Power System Protection and Control Press. Nausea and vomiting are important defensive responses to cope with pathogens and toxins that invade the body. The nucleus of the solitary tract(NTS) is important for initiating these responses. however, the molecular heterogeneities and cellular diversities of the NTS occlude a better understanding of these defensive responses. here, we constructed the single-nucleus transcriptomic atlas of NTS cells and found multiple populations of NTS neurons that may be involved in these defensive responses. Among these, we identified Calbindin1-positive(Calb1+) NTS neurons that are molecularly distinct from Tac1+*** Calb1+neurons are critical for nausea and retching induced by cereulide; an emetic toxin secreted by Bacillus Cereus. Strikingly, we found that cereulide can directly modulate vagal sensory neurons that innervate Calb1+NTS neurons, a novel mechanism distinct from that for nausea and retching induced by Staphylococcal enterotoxin A. Together, our transcriptomic atlas of NTS neurons and the functional analyses revealed the neural mechanism for cereulide-induced retching-like behavior. These results demonstrate the molecular and cellular complexities in the brain that underlie defensive responses to the diversities of pathogens and toxins.
