The poor corrosion and wear resistances of Mg alloys seriously limit their potential applications in various *** conventional epoxy coating easily forms many intrinsic defects during the solidification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a double-layer epoxy composite coating on Mg alloy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assembly *** outer layer is functionalized graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner layer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be homogeneously dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fill the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier *** Ce film connects the outer layer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times lower than that of bare Mg alloy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the labyrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of galvanic coupling *** synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and blocking layer exhibits great potential in realizing the improvement of multi-functional integration,which will open up a new avenue for the development of novel composite protection coatings of Mg alloys.

In this study,the mechanical properties and damping capacities of cast Mg-5.5 Zn-0.6 Zr(weight percent,ZK60)alloys have been simultaneously improved by a facile multi-directional forging(MDF)processing,and the mechanisms of microstructure evolution and texture modification are systematically *** activation of tension twinning occurs during the initial MDF stage,due to the coarse-grained structure of the as-cast *** increasing MDF passes,the continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)results in a fine equiaxed-grain *** typical non-basal texture is formed in the as-MDFed alloy for 6 passes,with the(0001)planes inclined 60°–70°to forged direction and 10°–20°to transverse direction,respectively.A good balance between the strength(~194.9 MPa)and ductility(~24.9%)has been achieved,which can be ascribed to the grain refinement,non-basal texture and fine precipitate *** damping capacity is remarkably improved after MDF processing,because the severe deformation increases the dislocation density,which effectively enlarges the sweep areas of mobile dislocations.

In the current study,a homogenous ultra-fine grained microstructure with average grain size of 1.0μm is achieved in the Mg-Zn-Ca-Mn alloy through the reduplicative equal channel angular pressing(ECAP)at 300℃,and the mechanical properties are remarkably improved,with room-temperature yield strength of 269.6 MPa and elongation of 22.7%.The twinning deformation results in a discontinuous recrystallization behavior in the initial stage of *** further deformation,the continuously dynamic recrystallization contributes to an obvious grain refinement *** activation of non-basal slip system leads to the formation of a unique basal texture,which is related to the elevated ECAP temperature and the decreased grain *** grain refinement and texture modification derived from ECAP process result in the increase of yield strength,while the cracked secondary phase particles are beneficial to the enhanced ductility,through reducing the stress concentration and hindering premature failure.

The influences of Ca and Ce/la microalloying on the microstructure evolution and bio-corrosion resistances of extruded Mg-Zn alloys have been systematically investigated in the current *** with single Ca or Ce/la addition,the Ca-Ce/la cooperative microalloying results in an outstanding grain refinement,because the fine secondary phase particles effectively hinder the recrystallized grain *** coarse Ca2Mg6Zn3 phases promote the formation of Ca3(PO4)2 or hydroxyapatite particles during the immersion process and accelerate the dissolution of the corrosion product film,which destroys its integrity and results in the deterioration of anti-corrosive *** Ce/la elements can be dispersed within the conventional Mg7Zn3 phases,which reduce the internal galvanic corrosion between Mg matrix and the secondary phases,leading to an obvious improvement of corrosion ***,the Ca-Ce/la cooperative microalloying achieves a homogenous fine-grained microstructure and improves the protective ability of surface film,which will pave a new avenue for the design of biomedical Mg alloys in the coming future.

The influence of equal channel angular pressing on the tension-compression yield asymmetry of extruded Mg-5.3 Zn-0.6 Ca(weight percent)alloy has been *** microstructure was obviously refined by the large strain during the equal channel angular pressing,accompanied with very fine Ca_(2)Mg_(6)Zn_(3) phases with average diameter of 70 *** weak tension-compression yield asymmetry after equal channel angular pressing is mainly attributed to the reduced volume fraction of extension twinning during the compression,because the slope(k)of twinning in Hall-Petch relationship is higher than that of dislocation slip,and the twinning deformation is difficult to take place with decreasing grain *** basal slip is more active in the alloy after equal channel angular pressing,due to the non-basal texture components,which hinders the twinning activation and reduces the yield ***,the presence of fine precipitate restricts the twinning activation,which also contributes to the reduction of yield asymmetry.

The toxic cyanides in cyanide residues produced from cyanidation process for gold extraction are harmful to the *** is one of the main minerals existing in cyanide *** this work,the interaction of cyanide with pyrite and the decyanation of pyrite cyanide residue were *** revealed that high pH value,high cyanide concentration,and high pyrite dosage promoted the interaction of cyanide with *** cyanidation of pyrite was pseudo-second-order with respect to *** decyanation of pyrite cyanide residue by Na_(2)SO_(3)/air oxidation was *** cyanide removal efficiency was 83.9% after 1 h of reaction time under the optimal conditions of pH value of 11.2,SO_(3)^(2-) dosage of 22 mg·g^(-1),and air flow rate of 1.46 l·min^(-1).X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis of the pyrite samples showed the formation of Fe(Ⅲ)and FeSO_(4) during the cyanidation *** cyanide that adsorbed on the pyrite surface after cyanidation mainly existed in the forms of free cyanide(CN^(-))and ferrocyanide(Fe(CN)_(6)^(4-)),which were effectively removed by Na_(2)SO_(3)/air *** the decyanation process,air intake promoted pyrite oxidation and weakened cyanide adsorption on the pyrite *** study has practical significance for gold enterprises aiming to mitigate the environmental impact related to cyanide residues.

In this study,a structure-optimized two-phase microchannel heat sink with sintered submicron nucleation sites was developed and *** copper-based microchannels had a rectangular cross-section with an equivalent hydraulic diameter of 222μ*** subcooled flow boiling characteristics were comprehensively compared between pure HFE-7100 and a non-azeotropic,immiscible binary mixture of HFE-7100 and water,considering heating areas of 1 and 5 cm^(2).The total heating power input to the test section were 100–1500 and 250–3000 W for a 1 and 5 cm^(2)heat source,respectively,with a flow rate ranging from 50 to150 l/*** to pure HFE-7100,the non-azeotropic immiscible binary mixture of HFE-7100/water in the sintered porous microchannels exhibited a much higher overall heat transfer coefficient and lower power *** maintain the junction temperature of a high power electronic chip below 85℃,the proposed supercapillary microchannel heat sink could effectively dissipate the heat flux of 1275 W/cm^(2)over 1 cm^(2)heat source and 500 W/cm^(2)over 5 cm^(2)heat *** addition,the volume ratio of the binary mixture strongly influence the two-phase flow heat transfer *** optimal volume ratio exist in terms of the thermal resistance–pumping power minimization(HFE-7100:water=2:8 is recommended in this study).The findings of this investigation on the flow boiling properties of non-azeotropic immiscible mixtures help fill a gap in the related field.

Gravity models given by higher-order scalar curvature corrections are believed to bear important consequences. Einstein-bel-Robinson (EbR) gravity with quartic curvature modification motivated Sajadi et al. to explore static spherically symmetric black hole solutions using perturbative methods. In this study, inspired by their work, we investigate AdS black hole shadows in EbR gravity and demonstrate how the gravity parameter alters the energy emission rate. Finally, we address the same problem in the presence of plasma, because the black holes are thought to be surrounded by a medium that changes the geodesic of photons.
