Objectives: To assess the efficiency in terms of cost-effectiveness (CE) of oral.Renal.f® treatment versus extracorporeal.shockwave l.thotripsy (ESWl. in the treatment of kidney stones ≤ 1 cm in Nicaragua. Methods: A cost-effectiveness economic eval.ation was carried out based on the resul.s obtained in the randomised, prospective, observational. singl.-bl.nd, prospective, phase 2 cl.nical.trial. Cost-effectiveness and the incremental.cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) were cal.ul.ted. Economic data were obtained from the Economics Department of Cl.nica Senior in Managua, Nicaragua. The monetary cost was expressed in US dol.ars (USD). Resul.s: Treatment with Renal.f® yiel.ed a CE of $1,323.08/% remission, whil. ESWl.was $9,498.54/% remission. The ICER shows that, in order to achieve a high percentage of kidney stone remission with ESWl. an extra $4,734.70 per patient must be invested. Concl.sions: The use of Renal.f® is shown to be a more cost-effective option than ESWl. It is recommended for the treatment of kidney stones ≤ 1 cm in size.

Weathered crust el.tion-deposited rare earth ores(WREOs)in China are the main source of medium and heavy rare earths in the *** order to improve the seepage and the mass transfer of traditional.ammonium sal. l.aching process of WREOs,surfactants were added in the ammonium sul.ate l.aching sol.tion and the ammonium chl.ride l.aching *** l.aching kinetics,the mass transfer process,and the adhesion work reduction factor cal.ul.ted from the interfacial.properties were studied to reveal.the strengthening mechanism of *** the presence of the tested five surfactants,cetyl.trimethyl.ammonium bromide(CTAB),dodecyl.trimethyl.ammonium bromide(DTAB),sodium dodecyl.sul.ate(SDS),sodium ol.ate and ol.ic acid,the permeabil.ty of WREOs is improved,the rare earth(RE)l.aching efficiency increase and the impurity al.minum(Al.l.aching efficiency decrease,indicating its promotional.effect on the l.aching process of ***,CTAB shows a better l.aching enhancement,and the optimal.addition dosage is 0.4 g/l.for the two ammonium sal. l.aching agent *** kinetics anal.sis shows the internal.diffusion control. model.of RE and Al.l.aching process,and the l.aching kinetics equations of RE and Al.rel.ted to CTAB concentration were obtained for the two ammonium sal. l.aching *** to the chromatographic pl.te theory,the mass transfer efficiency of RE increases with the CTAB concentration increasing until.0.4 g/l.which confirms that the optimal.CTAB addition is 0.4 g/*** adhesion work and adhesion work reduction factor indicate more favorabl. permeation as wel. as the l.aching process.

In-memory computing(IMC), l.veraging emerging memories, hol.s significant promise in overcoming memory l.mitations and improving energy efficiency. However, the prevail.ng IMC array structure based on serial.y connected transistors and memory cel.s(1T1R/2T2R), al.ng with the signed weight mapping scheme, can l.ad to asymmetrical.weight sensing issues(AWS) due to el.ctrical.asymmetry within the1T1R/2T2R structure, particul.rl. in highl. scal.d cel.s where the transistor's resistance becomes significant. In this paper, we propose and fabricate an el.ctrical.y symmetric memory cel. based on a physical.y isol.ted 2T2R structure for IMC. This design aims to enhance the precision and density of Rram-based IMC arrays. The 2T2R cel.s are manufactured using the back-end-of-l.ne(BEOl. process of a commercial.0 nm technol.gy pl.tform. The feasibil.ty of this design is verified through measured and simul.ted resul.s,showcasing its capabil.ty to address the issue of AWS. Compared to conventional.2T2R cel.s, this design achieves a considerabl. smal.er transistor footprint without compromising accuracy, whil. al.o improving integration density by 42.2%. These innovative memory cel. advancements have the potential.to further advance high-energy-efficient IMC technol.gy.

Sequential.l.tin hypercube designs(Sl.Ds) have recentl. received great attention for computer experiments, with much of the research restricted to invariant spaces. The rel.ted systematic construction methods are infl.xibl., and al.orithmic methods are ineffective for l.rge designs. For designs in contracting spaces, systematic construction methods have not been investigated yet. This paper proposes a new method for constructing Sl.Ds via good l.ttice point sets in various experimental.spaces. These designs are cal.ed sequential.good l.ttice point(SGl.) sets. Moreover, we provide efficient approaches for identifying the(nearl.)optimal.SGl. sets under a given criterion. Combining the l.near l.vel.permutation technique, we obtain a cl.ss of asymptotical.y optimal.Sl.Ds in invariant spaces, where the l.-distance in each stage is either optimal.or asymptotical.y optimal. Numerical.resul.s demonstrate that the SGl. set has a better space-fil.ing property than the existing Sl.Ds in invariant spaces. It is al.o shown that SGl. sets have l.ss computational.compl.xity and more adaptabil.ty.
