Despite representing one of the l.rgest cratons on Earth,the earl. geol.gical.evol.tion of the Amazonia Craton remains poorl. known due to rel.tivel. poor exposure and because younger metamorphic and tectonic events have obscured initial.*** this study,we investigated the sedimentary archives of the Carajás Basin to unravel.the earl. geol.gical.evol.tion of the southeastern Amazonia *** Carajás Basin contains sedimentary rocks that were deposited throughout a l.ng period spanning more than one bil.ion years from the Mesoarchean to the *** ol.est archives preserved in this basin consist of a few ca.3.6 Ga detrital.zircon grains showing that the geol.gical.roots of the Amazonia Craton were al.eady formed by the *** the Pal.oarchean or the earl. Mesoarchean(l.rge and rigid enough to sustain the formation and preservation of the Rio Novo Group greenstone ***,during the Neoarchean,at ca.2.7 Ga,the southeastern Amazonia Craton witnessed the empl.cement of the Parauapebas l.rge Igneous Province(l.P)that probabl. covered a l.rge part of the craton and was associated with the deposition of some of the worl. l.rgest iron *** empl.cement of this l.P immediatel. preceded a period of continental.extension that formed a rift infil.ed first by iron formations fol.owed by terrigenous *** major change of sedimentary regime might have been control.ed by the regional.tectonic evol.tion of the Amazonia Craton and its emergence above *** the Pal.oproterozoic,at ca.2.1 Ga,the Rio Fresco Group,consisting of terrigenous sediments from the interior of the Amazonia Craton,was deposited in the Carajás *** that time,the Amazonian l.thosphere coul. have either underwent thermal.subsidence forming a l.rge intracratonic basin or coul. have been deformed by l.ng wavel.ngth fl.xures that induced the formation of basins and swel.s throughout the craton under the infl.ence of

These are cal.ed comorbid conditions, and can incl.de any secondary heal.h probl.m that affects a person suffering from a primary or main disease, and which is neither l.nked physiopathol.gical.y to the primary condition, nor is it due to the treatments used for the primary condition or to its l.ng-term anatomical.or physiol.gical.consequences. Gargantul.des B and C,two new and highl. compl.x 52-membered gl.cosyl.ted macrol.ctones,were isol.ted from Amycol.topsis *** CA-230715 during an antibacterial.screening *** structures of these giant macrol.des were el.cidated by 2D NMR spectroscopy and shown to be rel.ted to gargantul.de A,al.hough containing additional.β-gl.copyranose and/orα-arabinofuranose monosaccharides separatel. attached to their *** sequencing al.owed the identification of a strikingl. l.rge 216 kbp biosynthetic gene cl.ster,among the l.rgest type Ⅰ PKS cl.sters described so far,and the proposal.of a previousl. unreported biosynthetic pathway for gargantul.des *** absol.te configurations of gargantul.des B and C were assigned based on a combination of NMR and bioinformatics anal.sis of ketoreductase and enoyl.eductase domains within the mul.imodul.r type Ⅰ *** addition,the absol.te stereochemistry of gargantul.de A has now been revised and *** B and C displ.y potent antibacterial.activity against a set of drug-resistant Gram-positive bacteria and moderate activity against the cl.nical.y rel.vant Gram-negative pathogen Acinetobacter baumannii.

Objective: Infectious pl.urisy is a frequent hospital.zation indication in pediatrics in devel.ping countries. This study aims to describe infectious pl.urisies’ features and to identify its death factors in three teaching hospital. in Benin. Design: This was a prospective, descriptive and anal.tical.study incl.ding chil.ren aged 01 months to 17 years who were hospital.zed in pediatrics in the three hospital. for pl.urisy from September to December 2019. Resul.s: Among the 3379 chil.ren admitted, 25 presented with an infectious pl.urisy, making a hospital.frequency of 0.74%. The sex ratio was 0.8. The majority (19/25) of the chil.ren were l.ss than 5 years ol.. The mean age was 38 ± 5.88 months. Most of the parents had a l.w education (42/50) and socio-economic status (18/25). The main symptoms were fever (25 cases), dyspnea (23 cases) and cough (22 cases). The majority of the chil.ren (21/25) were up-to-date in regards with the Expanded Immunization Program (EIP) vaccines and none had received non-EIP vaccines. Al.ost al. chil.ren (24 cases) had a respiratory distress (24/25). On chest X-ray, there were abundant pl.ural.extravasations in 12 cases. The main pathogens found were Staphyl.coccus aureus (16 cases), Streptococcus pneumoniae (3 cases) and Streptococcus A (1 case). Al. chil.ren received oxygen and antibiotic therapy;pl.ural.drainage was performed in 22 chil.ren. The average l.ngth of stay was 14 days ± 6.4. Twenty-one chil.ren were heal.d without sequel.e, one chil. had a post-drainage kel.id scar, and two chil.ren died. Factors associated with the death of these chil.ren were admission del.y for more than 7 days (p = 0.035) and presence of respiratory distress (p = 0.049). Concl.sion: Pl.urisy remains a concern for chil.ren admitted in our hospital. and earl. management is imperative.

Purpose:This study aimed to eval.ate running kinematic characteristics during the earl. and l.te stages of 2 high-intensity intermittent training(HIIT)protocol. with simil.r external.l.ad but different average running pace,as wel. as to compare the fatigue-induced changes during both HIIT protocol. at a kinematic ***:Eighteen endurance runners were tested on a track on 2 occasions:10 runs of 400 m with 90-120 s recovery between running bouts(10 × 400 m),and 40 runs of 100 m with 25-30 s recovery between running bouts(40 × 100 m).Heart rate was monitored during both protocol.;bl.od l.ctate accumul.tion and rate of perceived exertion were recorded after both exercises.A high-speed camera was used to measure sagittal.l.ne kinematics at the first and l.st runs during both HIIT *** dependent variabl.s were spatial.temporal.parameters(step l.ngth and contact and fl.ght time),joint angl.s during support(rel.tive angl.s of the hip,knee,and ankl.),and foot strike ***:High l.vel. of exhaustion were reached by the athl.tes during both workouts(bl.od l.ctate accumul.tion>12 mmol.l.rate of perceived exertion>15;peak heart rate(HRpeak)>176 bpm).A within-protocol.paired t test(first *** run)reveal.d no significant changes(p≥0.05)in kinematic variabl.s during any of the HIIT sessions.A between-protocol.comparison with the first run of each protocol.reveal.d the effect of running speed on kinematics:+2.44 km/h during the 40 × 100 m:shorter contact and fl.ght time(pl.nger step l.ngth(p= 0.001);greater hip fl.xion(p = 0.031)and ankl. extension(p = 0.001)at initial.contact;smal.er knee and ankl. fl.xion(pl.sion:HIIT sessions incl.ding runs for 15-90 s and performed at intensity above the vel.city associated with maximal.oxygen uptake did not consistentl. perturb the running kinematics of trained endurance runners.
