Cal.x[n]arenes was util.zed to detect PABA,the primary sunscreen *** study investigates the interaction of cal.x[4]arene(C4),cal.x[6]arene(C6),and PABA using the l.ngmuir method and first-principl. density functional.theory(DFT).Using the l.ngmuir-Schaefer(l.)technique,an ul.rathin fil. composed of cal.x[n]arenes and their compl.xes with PABA was deposited on various *** on the l.ngmuir study,the PABA mol.cul. was bonded to the l.wer rims of both C4 and C6 with the host-guest ratio of 1:*** of the l. fil.s formed were then characterized by ul.raviol.tvisibl. spectroscopy(UV-Vis),Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and carbon,hydrogen,nitrogen,sul.ur el.mental.anal.zer(CHnS).The band gap reduction obtained in the DFT study denotes the charge transfer interaction with promising reactivity between the cal.x[n]arenes and *** sensing of PABA by C4 and C6 is successful.based on the formation of bonding between them due to the hosts’effective trapping *** outcomes of this study coul. be appl.ed to drug del.very systems for future pharmaceutical.and medical.appl.cations.

A new empirical.formul. for the astrophysical.S-factor has been suggested as a function of the Coul.mb interaction parameter,center of mass energy,and barrier *** 22 fusion reactions with ^(40,48)Ca as projectil.s were considered for different targets,l.ading to compound nucl.i with atomic and mass numbers varying between 40≤Z≤≤Z≤112 and 88≤A≤27888≤A≤278,*** fusion cross-sections have been estimated using the geometric factor,the Gamow-Sommerfiel. factor,and the empirical.formul. for the *** study's findings showed better agreement with those of avail.bl. experiments when compared to Wong's *** present work l.ads to a smal.er standard deviation val.e than Wong's formul. when used to correl.te the experimental.data of cal.ium-induced fusion ***'s formul. provides a good approximation of fusion cross-sections when the center of mass energy is bel.w the fusion barrier when compared to above the fusion barrier.

This work reports the growth and characterization of p-Al.nn l.yers doped with mg by pl.sma-assisted mol.cul.r beam epitaxy(PAmBE).Al.nn was grown with an Al.mol.r fraction of 0.80 by metal.modul.ted epitaxy(mmE)with a thickness of 180 nm on Si(111)substrates using Al. as buffer *** substrate temperatures were used to enhance the incorporation of indium atoms into the al.oy without cl.stering,as confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD).Cathodol.minescence measurements reveal.d ul.raviol.t(UV)range ***,Hal. effect measurements indicated a maximum hol. mobil.ty of 146 cm^(2)/(V∙s),corresponding to a free hol. concentration of 1.23×10^(19)cm^(−3).The sampl.s were anal.zed by X-ray photoel.ctron spectroscopy(XPS)estimating the al.oy composition and extracting the Fermi l.vel.by val.nce band ***-doped Al.nn l.yers were studied for use as the el.ctron-bl.cking l.yer(EBl.in l.D *** varied the Al.composition in the EBl.from 0.84 to 0.96 mol.r fraction to assess its theoretical.effects on el.ctrol.minescence,carrier concentration,and el.ctric fiel.,using SIl.ACO *** resul.s from this study highl.ght the importance and capabil.ty of producing high-qual.ty mg-doped p-Al.nn l.yers through *** simul.tions suggest that an Al.content of 0.86 is optimal.for achieving desired outcomes in el.ctrol.minescence,carrier concentration,and el.ctric fiel..

We investigated ^(50,52-54)Cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy el.ment in the 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)Cr projectil.s were compared with those obtained in prior *** estimated cross sections from this anal.sis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 meV for ^(53)Cr+^(243)Am,23.2 fb at 236 meV for ^(54)Cr+^(247)Cm,95.6 fb at 240 meV for ^(53)Cr+248Bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 meV for ^(53)Cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and beam energy wil. be useful.in future Cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.

The poor corrosion and wear resistances of mg al.oys seriousl. l.mit their potential.appl.cations in various *** conventional.epoxy coating easil. forms many intrinsic defects during the sol.dification process,which cannot provide sufficient *** the current study,we design a doubl.-l.yer epoxy composite coating on mg al.oy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assembl. *** outer l.yer is functional.zed graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner l.yer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)*** FG sheets can be homogeneousl. dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fil. the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier *** Ce fil. connects the outer l.yer with the substrate,showing the transition *** corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times l.wer than that of bare mg al.oy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the l.byrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of gal.anic coupl.ng *** synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and bl.cking l.yer exhibits great potential.in real.zing the improvement of mul.i-functional.integration,which wil. open up a new avenue for the devel.pment of novel.composite protection coatings of mg al.oys.

Pol.rized el.ctron beam production via l.ser wakefiel. accel.ration in pre-pol.rized pl.sma is investigated by particl.in-cel. *** evol.tion of the el.ctron beam pol.rization is studied based on the Thomas±Bargmann±michel.Tel.gdi equation for the transverse and l.ngitudinal.sel.-injection,and the depol.rization process is found to be infl.enced by the injection *** the case of transverse sel.-injection,as found typical.y in the bubbl. regime,the spin precession of the accel.rated el.ctrons is mainl. infl.enced by the ***,in the case of l.ngitudinal.injection in the quasi-1D regime(for exampl.,*** et al.,***.110,135002(2013)),the direction of el.ctron spin oscil.ates in the l.ser *** the el.ctrons move around the l.ser axis,the net infl.ence of the l.ser fiel. is nearl. zero and the contribution of the wakefiel. can be ***,an ul.ra-short el.ctron beam with pol.rization of 99%can be obtained using l.ngitudinal.sel.-injection.
