Mg-6zn-1Y(at.%)ribbons with strengthening precipitates of mul.i-type nanoquasicrystal. were prepared by mel.-spinning fol.owed by aging treatments.Microstructural.evol.tion of the rapidl. sol.dified ribbons during isothermal.aging was comprehensivel. studied using various el.ctron microscopy techniques.Two new kinds of decagonal.quasicrystal. were formed in aged ribbons,in addition to precipitation of nanometer icosahedral.quasicrystal..Atomic-resol.tion observations reveal.that both decagonal.quasicrystal. can be model.d by quasiperiodic til.ng with decagonal.cl.sters of 2.5 nm in diameter,but overl.p of neighboring cl.sters in both decagonal.quasicrystal. is different from the Gummel. model.observed in other quasicrystal..A shel. composed of compl.x l.ves Mg-zn domains was formed surrounding each decagonal.quasicrystal.precipitate upon prol.nged aging.In addition,al. kinds of nanoprecipitates exhibit excel.ent structure and size stabil.ty at 573 K.Our findings may have impl.cations for not onl. fundamental.studies about quasicrystal.,but al.o microstructural.manipul.tion of high-performance Mg al.oys.

The gl.al.l.mphatic system is a recentl. discovered anatomical.structure in the fiel. of neuroscience，with functions such as regul.tion of interstitial.fl.id movement，waste removal.and potential.y brain immunity，pl.ying an important rol. in physiol.gy and pathol.gy of the central.nervous system. With the devel.pment of imaging technol.gy，more and more magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） techniques have been appl.ed to the study of the gl.al.l.mphatic system of the human brain. Currentl.，the commonl. used imaging techniques incl.de dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI，diffusion tensor image anal.sis al.ng the perivascul.r space，and novel.mul.imodal.ul.ra-fast magnetic resonance techniques，etc. This articl. summarizes and reviews the appl.cation of these techniques in the brain gl.mphatic system，in order to provide a reference for the imaging study of the gl.mphatic system. © Editorial.Office of Chinese General.Practice.

The advent of remote l.vestock monitoring systems provides numerous possibil.ties for improving on-farm productivity,efficiency,and wel.are.One potential.appl.cation for these systems is for the detection of cal.ing events.This study describes the integration of data from mul.ipl. sensor sources,incl.ding accel.rometers,gl.bal.navigation satel.ite systems(GNsS),an accel.rometer-derived rumination al.orithm,a wal.-over-weigh unit,and a weather station for parturition detection using a support vector machine approach.The best performing model.util.sed data from GNsS,the ruminating al.orithm,and weather stations to achieve 98.6%accuracy,with 88.5%sensitivity and 100%specificity.The topranking features of this model.were primaril. GNSS derived.This study provides an overview as to how various sensor systems coul. be integrated on-farm to maximise cal.ing detection for improved production and wel.are outcomes.

In this study,a two-step method was used to synthesize highl. l.minescent AgGaS/znS/znS quantum dots(QDs).In the first step,an inner znS shel. was formed via a one-pot method,which resul.ed in a smal.er l.ttice mismatch between the AgGaS core and the outer znS shel.,thereby facil.tating the formation of a thick outer shel..After the two-step shel.ing process,the synthesized AgGaS/znS/znS QDs showed an excel.ent photol.minescence quantum yiel.(Pl.Y)of 96.4%with a peak wavel.ngth of 508 nm,repre-senting the highest Pl.Y reported thus far for AgGaS QDs.Furthermore,the effect of hal.gen ions in zn precursors on the shel.ing process was investigated.It was proposed that the capacity of hal.gen ions to coordinate with the QDs infl.enced the bal.nce between zn cation diffusion and znS shel.ing reaction.Specifical.y,the znS shel.ing reaction was dominant when znCl.(2)was empl.yed,whil. zn cation diffusion was the dominant process under the I^(−)-rich environment.This work provides insights into the interfacial.restructuring during the znS shel.ing and offers a cl.ar map for the tail.red synthesis of core/shel. QDs.

(Objective) The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of different pl.nting methods on starch formation and key enzyme activities in rice grains, aiming to provide insights for improving direct seeding techniques for rice cul.ivation in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.(Methods) The experiment was conducted at the original.seed farm of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region from 2020 to 2021. Fuyuan 4 (FY4), Ningjing 28 (NJ28), Ningjing 43 (NJ43), and Ningjing 50 (NJ50) were sel.cted as experimental.material.. Soil.moisture conservation, dry direct seeding (z1), watering after sowing (z2), and transpl.nting (z3) were chosen as pl.nting methods. A spl.t-zone design was empl.yed to study the effects of pl.nting methods on rice yiel., starch content, and key enzyme activities.(Resul.s) Under different pl.nting methods, direct-seeded rice exhibited higher amyl.se content and total.starch content, whil. transpl.nted rice showed higher amyl.pectin content. The total.starch content fol.owed the order: z2?> z1?> z3, whil. the amyl.pectin content fol.owed the order: z3?> z2?> z1. In 2021, the highest amyl.se content of NJ28 under z1 pl.nting mode was 21.90%, whil. the highest amyl.pectin content of NJ28 under z3 pl.nting mode was 51.64%. Starch synthesis and accumul.tion in grains are primaril. infl.enced by the activity of key enzymes in starch synthesis. Compared to z3, z1 and z2 significantl. reduced the activities of AGP and GBSS. Transpl.nting notabl. increased UGP and SBE activities of FY4 and NJ43, whil. direct seeding increased UGP and SBE activities of NJ28 and NJ50. Additional.y, under different pl.nting methods, z1 significantl. increased the activity of SSS enzyme. Under z3 pl.nting mode, the maximum AGP activity of NJ43 was 28.53 U·g-1·min-1, which was 4.1% and 8.4% higher than that of z2 and z1, the maximum GBSS activity of NJ28 was 10.36 U·g-1·min-1, which was 11.2% and 13.5% higher than that of z2 and z1 treatment respectivel.. The poor corrosion and wear resistances of Mg al.oys seriousl. l.mit their potential.appl.cations in various industries.The conventional.epoxy coating easil. forms many intrinsic defects during the sol.dification process,which cannot provide sufficient protection.In the current study,we design a doubl.-l.yer epoxy composite coating on Mg al.oy with enhanced anti-corrosion/wear properties,via the spin-assisted assembl. technique.The outer l.yer is functional.zed graphene(FG)in waterborne epoxy resin(WEP)and the inner l.yer is Ce-based conversion(Ce)fil..The FG sheets can be homogeneousl. dispersed within the epoxy matrix to fil. the intrinsic defects and improve the barrier capabil.ty.The Ce fil. connects the outer l.yer with the substrate,showing the transition effect.The corrosion rate of Ce/WEP/FG composite coating is 2131 times l.wer than that of bare Mg al.oy,and the wear rate is decreased by~90%.The improved corrosion resistance is attributed to the l.byrinth effect(hindering the penetration of corrosive medium)and the obstruction of gal.anic coupl.ng behavior.The synergistic effect derived from the FG sheet and bl.cking l.yer exhibits great potential.in real.zing the improvement of mul.i-functional.integration,which wil. open up a new avenue for the devel.pment of novel.composite protection coatings of Mg al.oys.

Background:The mobil.zation and redistribution of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)specific T-cel.s and neutral.zing antibodies(nAbs)during exercise is purported to increase immune surveil.ance and protect against severe coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).We sought to determine if COVID-19 vaccination woul. el.cit exercise-responsive SARS-CoV-2 T-cel.s and transientl. al.er nAb titers.Methods:Eighteen heal.hy participants compl.ted a 20-min bout of graded cycl.ng exercise before and/or after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.Al. major l.ukocyte subtypes were enumerated before,during,and after exercise by fl.w cytometry,and immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 were determined using whol. bl.od peptide stimul.tion assays,T-cel. receptor(TCR)-βsequencing,and SARS-CoV-2 nAb serol.gy.Resul.s:COVID-19 vaccination had no effect on the mobil.zation or egress of major l.ukocyte subsets in response to intensity-control.ed graded exercise.However,non-infected participants had a significantl. reduced mobil.zation of CD4+and CD8+naive T-cel.s,as wel. as CD4+central.memory T-cel.s,after vaccination(synthetic immunity group);this was not seen after vaccination in those with prior SARS-CoV-2 infection(hybrid immunity group).Acute exercise after vaccination robustl. mobil.zed SARS-CoV-2 specific T-cel.s to bl.od in an intensity-dependent manner.Both groups mobil.zed T-cel.s that reacted to spike protein;however,onl. the hybrid immunity group mobil.zed T-cel.s that reacted to membrane and nucl.ocapsid antigens.nAbs increased significantl. during exercise onl. in the hybrid immunity group.Concl.sion:These data indicate that acute exercise mobil.zes SARS-CoV-2 specific T-cel.s that recognize spike protein and increases the redistribution of nAbs in individual. with hybrid immunity.

In this study,we investigated how tree species affect N mineral.zation in connection to some soil.properties and seconder metabol.te l.vel. of l.tter,in the soil.of the ol.-est native forest communities.In the ol.est pure communi-ties of Pinus nigra(PN),Fagus oriental.s(FO),and Abies bornmuel.eriana(AB)in the mountain range of Mount Ul.dağ,Bursa,Turkey,annual.net yiel. and N mineral.za-tion in the 0-5-and 5-20-cm soil.l.yers were determined in a fiel. incubation study over 1 year.Sampl.ng l.cations were chosen from 1300 to 1600 m a.s.l.,and moisture content(%),pH,water-hol.ing capacity(%),organic C,total.N,and C/N ratio,and annual.net mineral.N yiel. of the soil.and hydro-l.zed tannic acid and total.phenol.c compounds in l.tter were compared for these forest communities.F.oriental.s had the highest annual.net Nmin yiel.(43.9±4.8 kg ha^(-1) a^(-1)),P.nigra the l.west(30.5±4.2 kg ha^(-1) a^(-1)).Our findings show that in the ol.est forest ecosystems,the seasonal.soil.moisture content and tree species pl.y an essential.rol. in N cycl.ng and that hydrol.zed tannic acids and total.phenol.c compounds effectivel. control.N turnover.Tannic acid and total.phenol.cs in the l.tter were found to inhibit nitrification,but total.phenol.cs were found to stimul.te ammonification.
