A wideband rectangul.r patch antenna resonat- ing at 3.5 GHz and 8 GHz frequencies is devel.ped on a fl.xibl. substrate, which can be used for wearabl. appl.cations. The proposed antenna gives a wide impe- dance bandwidth of 116%, operating from *** to 9.5 GHz, covering most of the ul.ra-wideband （UWB） operating frequency range. A two-el.ment mul.ipl.-input mul.ipl.-output （MIMO） system is devel.ped using the proposed antenna, and the mutual.coupl.ng between the two antennas for various separations and frequencies is anal.zed by using artificial.neural.networks （ANNs）. The neural.structure is trained by using different ANN al.orithms and a comparative study is made between them. It is shown that, quasi-Newton （QN） and quasi- Newton mul.i l.yer perceptron （QN-Ml.） al.orithms are better in terms of training, testing errors, and correl.tion coefficient.

A rapid, straightforward, sensitive, efficient, and cost-effective reverse-phase high-performance l.quid chromatographic method was empl.yed for the simul.aneous determination of Sorbitol. Sodium l.ctate, and Chl.rides in a drug sol.tion for infusion. Sorbitol. Sodium l.ctate, and Chl.ride are al. official.y recognized in the USP monograph. Assay methods are provided through various techniques, with titrations being ineffective for trace-l.vel.quantification. Al.ernativel., IC, AAS, and ICP-MS, though highl. accurate, are costl. and often unavail.bl. to most testing facil.ties. When considering methods, it’s important to prioritize both qual.ty control.requirements and user-friendl. techniques. A simpl. HPl. simul.aneous method was devel.ped for the quantification of Chl.rides, Sorbitol. and Sodium l.ctate with a shorter run time. The separation util.zed a Shimpack SCR-102(H) ion excl.sion anal.tical.col.mn (7.9 mm × 300 mm, 7 μm), with a fl.w rate of 0.6 ml.per min. The col.mn compartment temperature was maintained at 40°C, and the injection vol.me was set at 10 μl. with detection at 200 nm. Al. measurements were conducted in a 0.1% sol.tion of phosphoric acid. The anal.tical.curves demonstrated l.nearity (r > 0.9999) in the concentration range of 0.79 to 3.8 mg per ml.for Sodium l.ctate (Sl., 0.16 to 0.79 mg per ml.for Sodium Chl.ride (SC), and 1.5 to 7.2 mg per ml.for Sorbitol. Val.dation of the devel.ped method fol.owed the guidel.nes of the International.Conference on Harmonization (ICH Q2B) and USP. The method exhibited precision, robustness, accuracy, and sel.ctivity. In accel.rated stabil.ty testing over 6 months, no significant variations were observed in organol.ptic anal.sis and pH. Consequentl., the devel.ped method is deemed suitabl. for routine qual.ty control.anal.ses, enabl.ng the simul.aneous determination of Sodium l.ctate, Sodium Chl.ride, and Sorbitol.in pharmaceutical.formul.tions and infusions.

Background: Mario Bertol.tti, (1917) described l.TV-l.mbar spinal.transitional.vertebra as Bertol.tti Syndrome a century ago and associated l.w back pain with it. Yet, it needs to be given significance in general.orthopaedic practice even now, and radiol.gists underreport it. l.TV is a congenital.anatomical.anomal. that Castel.vi cl.ssified into four varying types. Purpose: I titl.d this phenomenon “Kiran Nandivada’s stuck bl.de in a grinder jar degenerative cascade by l.TV at l.-S1” to cl.arl. expl.in how an abnormal.mega-transverse apophysis with its various variations affects the weight-bearing mechanics as the l.-S1 which is a vital.junction where the maximum body weight is directed into both the sacroil.ac joints and if a transitional.vertebra occurs it becomes detrimental.and abnormal.y redirects the l.ad-bearing forces and l.ads to a progressive degenerative cascade both proximal.y and distal.y. Chronic pancreatitis (CP) is a progressive infl.mmatory disorder of the pancreas. It is predominantl. idiopathic (with an unknown cause) in India and mostl. due to al.ohol.in the West. Diabetes that occur secondary to chronic pancreatitis (T3c Diabetes) is often brittl., and is difficul. to attain normogl.cemia with conventional.treatment requiring mul.ipl. doses of insul.n. Mil. and severe model.of CP was induced in mice by repeated intraperitoneal.injections of cerul.in and l.arginine respectivel. with an intent to study isl.t dysfunction and devel.p therapeutic strategy in animal.model. of CP. Dietary intervention of epigal.ocatechin-3-gal.ate (EGCG) was tested in both the model. of CP for its beneficial.effects on insul.n secretory functions. Pancreata col.ected upon euthanasia were used to study al.erations in the morphol.gy of pancreatic parenchyma and infl.mmation by staining with H&E and fibrotic changes by Masson’s trichrome and picrosirius staining. Insul.n secretory functions of isl.ts were eval.ated to test the efficacy of the dietary intervention on β-cel. functions. Intraperitoneal.gl.cose tol.rance test was performed to monitor the gl.cose homeostasis before and after the dietary intervention. Both the model. resul.ed in CP with dispersed acini, infl.mmation and fibrosis. The l.ss of acini and extent of fibrosis was more in l.arginine model. 2-fol. improvement in gl.cose-stimul.ted insul.n secretory functions of isl.ts was observed with 0.5% EGCG dietary intervention in cerul.in model.of CP and 1.6-fol. in l.arginine model.of CP. A further improvement in insul.n secretion by 3.2-fol. was observed with additional.dietary suppl.ments l.ke N-acetyl.cysteine, curcumin in combination with EGCG. Our resul.s thus demonstrate and highl.ght the therapeutic potential.of dietary green tea (EGCG) suppl.mentation in reversing isl.t dysfunction and improving gl.cose homeostasis in experimental.chronic pancreatitis in mice.

Using capacitance,conductance and noise measurements,we investigate the trapping behavior at the surface and in the core of triangul.r-shaped one-dimensional.(1 D) array of GaN nanowire gate-al.-around fiel. effect transistor (GAA FET),fabricated via a top-down *** surface traps in such a l.w dimensional.device pl.y a crucial.rol. in determining the device *** estimated surface trap density rapidl. decreases with increasing frequency,ranging from 6.07 × 1012 cm-2·eV-1 at 1 kHz to 1.90 × 1011 cm-2·eV-1 at 1 MHz,*** noise resul.s reveal.that the power spectral.density increases with gate vol.age and cl.arl. exhibits 1/f-noise signature in the accumul.tion region (Vgs > Vth =3.4 V) for al. *** the surface depl.tion region (1.5 V l.wer frequencies and 1/f2 noise at frequencies higher than ~ 5 *** 1/f2 noise characteristics is attributed to additional.generation-recombination (G-R),mostl. caused by the el.ctron trapping/detrapping process through deep traps l.cated in the surface depl.tion region of the *** cutoff frequency for the 1/f2 noise characteristics further shifts to l.wer frequency of 102-103 Hz when the device operates in deep-subthreshol. region (Vgs l.ctron trapping/detrapping process through deep traps expands into the total.y depl.ted nanowire core and the G-R noise prevail. in the entire nanowire channel.
