Objective：The programmed cell death-1 receptor/programmed cell death-1 ligand （PD-1/PD-l1） pathway plays a crucial role in tumor evasion from host *** study was designed to evaluate the association between circulating PD-l1 expression and prognosis in patients with advanced gastric ***：Totally 80 advanced gastric cancer patients and 40 health controls from Beijing cancer Hospital were enrolled in the present *** PD-l1 expression was tested by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay （ElISA）.The associations between the expression level of PD-l1 and clinicopathological features and prognosis were analyzed ***：Expression of PD-l1 in advanced gastric cancer patients was significandy up-regulated compared with health people （P=0.006）.The expression of PD-l1 was significantly correlated with differentiation and lymph node metastasis （P=0.026 and P=0.041,respectively）.Although we didn＇t find significant difference in all advanced gastric cancer patients with different PD-l1 expression,the adenocarcinoma patients with higher up-regulated PD-l1 expression had much better prognosis than low expression patients （65.6％ vs.44.7％,P=0.028）.conclusions：PD-l1 was elevated in advance gastric cancer patients and may play an important role in tumor immune evasion and patients prognosis.

Kinetics of hexavalent chromium reduction by iron metal

The kinetics of cr(VI)reduction to cr(III)by metallic iron(Fe0)was studied in batch reactors for a range of reactant concentrations,pH and *** 86.8%removal efficiency for cr(VI)was achieved when Fe0 concentration was 6 g/l(using commercial iron powder(ction of hexavalent chro-mium took place on the surface of the iron particles following pseudo-first order *** rate of cr(VI)reduction increased with increasing Fe0 addition and temperature but inversely with initial *** pseudo-first-order rate coeffi-cients(kobs)were determined as 0.0024,0.010,0.0268 and 0.0628 min−1 when iron powder dosages were 2,6,10 and 14 g/l at 25°c and pH 5.5,*** to the Arrehenius equation,the apparent activation energy of 26.5 kJ/mol and pre-exponential factor of 3330 min−1 were obtained at the temperature range of 288−308 *** Fe0 types were compared in this *** reactivity was in the order starch-stabilized Fe0 nanoparticles>Fe0 nano-particles>Fe0 powder>Fe0 *** analysis of the reaction process showed that cr(III)and Fe(III)hydroxides should be the dominant final products.

The indoor thermal history of residents in the hot summer and cold winter climate zone in china have undergone a significant change in recent years,which also changes their seasonal thermal adaptations and this has formed feed-back effects to the increasing usage of air conditioning units in this *** study the seasonal variations of thermal adaptation,the thermal comfort experiments were conducted on two groups of *** groups included 20 participants who had indoor history mainly with natural ventilation(NV group)and air-conditioning(Ac group),*** results demonstrated that the thermal sensation vote(TSV)in warm environments did not differ between Ac and NV subjects in ***,the TSV of Ac subjects were much lower than that of NV subjects in the same standard effective temperature and skin temperature in a cold environment in ***,the participants who spent most of their time in Ac space in winter showed a low level of thermal adaptation with a narrower acceptable skin temperature range of 32.6-33.5℃.Thus,this study presents the basic information regarding the seasonal effects on human thermal adaptation due to different long-term indoor thermal histories.

Recently,multivalent aqueous calcium-ion batteries(cIBs)have attracted considerable attention as a possible alternative to li-ion ***,traditional ca-ion storage materials show either limited rate capabilities and poor cycle life or insufficient specific ***,we tackle these limitations by exploring materials having a large interlayer distance to achieve decent specific capacities and one-dimensional architecture with adequate ca-ion passages that enable rapid reversible(de)intercalation *** this work,we report the high-yield,rapid,and low-cost synthesis of 1D metal oxides MV_(3)O_(8)(M=li,K),caV_(2)O_(6),and caV_(6)O_(16)·7H_(2)O(cVO)via a molten salt ***,using 1D cVO as electrode materials,we show high capacity 205 mA h g^(-1),long cycle life(>97%capacity retention after 200 cycles at 3.0 c),and high-rate performance(117 mA h g^(-1) at 12 c)for ca-ion(de)*** work represents a step forward for the development of the molten salt method to synthesize nanomaterials and to help pave the way for the future growth of ca-ion batteries.

Enhanced bioethanol production from sugarcane bagasse:combination of liquid hot water and deep eutectic solvent pretreatment for optimized enzymatic saccharification

In the present study,a sustainable pretreatment methodology combining liquid hot water and deep eutectic solvent is proposed for the efficient fractionation of hemicellulose,cellulose,and lignin from sugarcane bagasse,thereby facilitating the comprehensive utilization of both c5 and c6 *** application of this combined pretreatment strategy to sugarcane bagasse led to notable enhancements in enzymatic saccharification and subsequent *** results demonstrate that liquid hot water-deep eutectic solvent pretreatment yielded 85.05±0.66 g·l^(-1)of total fermentable sugar(glucose:60.96±0.21 g·l^(-1),xylose:24.09±0.87 g·l^(-1))through enzymatic saccharification of sugarcane ***,fermentation of the pretreated sugarcane bagasse hydrolysate yielded 34.33±3.15 g·l^(-1)of *** findings confirm the effectiveness of liquid hot water-deep eutectic solvent pretreatment in separating lignocellulosic components,thus presenting a sustainable and promising pretreatment method for maximizing the valuable utilization of biomass resources.

Synthesis and Properties of Hydroxide conductive Polymers carrying Dense Aromatic Side-chain Quaternary Ammonium Groups

A series of hydroxide conductive polymers QTBMs carrying dense aromatic side-chain quaternary ammonium groups has been synthesized by using a new monomer of 3,3＇-di（3＂,5＂-dimethylphenyl）-4,4＇-difluorodiphenyl sulfone and other commercial monomers via polycondensation reaction, and subsequent bromination, quaternization and alkalization. The chemical structures of the ionomers were confirmed by 1H- and 13c-NMR spectroscopy. Water uptake, swelling ratio, hydroxide conductivity, the number of bonded water per ammonium group （A）, volumetric ion exchange capacity （IEcvwet）, mechanical and thermal properties, and chemical stability were systematically evaluated for the series of QTBMs membranes. QTBMs showed IEcs ranging from 1.02 meq·g-1 to 2.11 meq·g-1; in particular, QTBM-60 membrane with the highest IEc （2.11 meq·g-1） had very high hydroxide ion conductivity of 131.9 mS·cm-1 at 80 ℃, which was attributed to the well assembled nano-channels with distinct phase separation evidenced by small-angle X-ray scattering （SAXS）. It was found that the hydrated QTBMs membranes were mechanically stable with moderate water uptakes and swelling ratios, high chemical stability under the harsh alkaline conditions. This work provides a facile way to prepare anion exchange membranes （AEMs） with high performances for the application in alkaline fuel cells.

Relationships between humic substance-bound mercury contents and soil properties in subtropical zone

The bioavailability of humic substance-bound mercury （HS-Hg） has been established, while the distribution of HS-Hg in soils in relation to soil properties remains obscure. Path analysis and principal component analysis were employed in present study to investigate how soil factors influence the contents of HS-Hg in soils. Results showed that HS-Hg ranged from 0.0192 to 0.2051 mg/kg in soils. The two fractions existed in soils as humic acid-bound mercury （HA-Hg）〉 fulvic acid-bound mercury （FA-Hg） and the ratio of HA-Hg/FA-Hg was 1.61 on the average. Soil organic carbon （Oc） and HS favorably determined soil HS-Hg and the two fractions. The mercury source forming HS-Hg derived from soil total mercury and HS-Hg. FA-Hg and HA-Hg served as mercury source for each other. In acidic soils, FA-Hg and HA-Hg consistently rose with the increase of Oc, and generally HA-Hg increased more dramatically. Soils with lower pH and lighter texture contained more HS-Hg, particularly fraction of FA-Hg. Among all influencing factors, organic material source showed the strongest effect, followed by other soil properties and soil mercury source.

The study of community composition of algae is essential for understanding the structure and dynamics of the aquatic ecosystem and for evaluating the eutrophic level of the water body.A high-performance liquid chromatographic(HPlc)method based on a reversephase c_(18) nonpolar column was developed for the main algal taxa,which includes cyanophytes,bacillariophytes,euglenophytes,dinophytes,and *** on the elution order using HPlc,19 pigments were identified,and they were chlorophyllide a,19′-butanoyloxyfucoxanthin,chlorophyll c_(1)+c_(2),phephorbides a,peridinin,methyl-chlorophyllide a,fucoxanthin,neoxanthin,violaxanthin,myxoxanthophyll,diadinoxanthin,diatoxanthin,lutein,zeaxanthin,chlorophyll b allomer,chlorophyll b,chlorophyll a allomer,chlorophyll a,andβ,β-carotene.A comparison study of cell microscopic counts and accessory pigment analysis indicated that HPlc analysis could be a useful tool for monitoring phytoplankton communities and their abundance.
