From point of view of physics, especially of mechanics, we briefly introduce fractional operators (with emphasis on fractional calculus and fractional differential equa- tions) used for describing intermediate processes and critical phenomena in physics and mechanics, their progress in theory and methods and their applications to modern me- chanics. Some authors’ researches in this area in recent years are included. Finally, prospects and evaluation for this subject are made.

Dynamic Treatment Strategy of Chinese Medicine for Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Based on Machine learning Algorithm

Objective: To establish the dynamic treatment strategy of Chinese medicine(CM) for metastatic colorectal cancer(m CRC) by machine learning algorithm, in order to provide a reference for the selection of CM treatment strategies for m CRC. Methods: From the outpatient cases of m CRC in the department of Oncology at Xiyuan Hospital, china Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, 197 cases that met the inclusion criteria were screened. According to different CM intervention strategies, the patients were divided into 3 groups: CM treatment alone, equal emphasis on Chinese and Western medicine treatment(CM combined with local treatment of tumors, oral chemotherapy, or targeted drugs), and CM assisted Western medicine treatment(CM combined with intravenous regimen of Western medicine). The survival time of patients undergoing CM intervention was taken as the final evaluation index. Factors affecting the choice of CM intervention scheme were screened as decision variables. The dynamic CM intervention and treatment strategy for m CRC was explored based on the cost-sensitive classification learning algorithm for survival(CSClSurv). Patients' survival was estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method, and the survival time of patients who received the model-recommended treatment plan were compared with those who received actual treatment plan. Results: Using the survival time of patients undergoing CM intervention as the evaluation index, a dynamic CM intervention therapy strategy for m CRC was established based on *** CM intervention strategies for m CRC can be selected according to dynamic decision variables, such as gender, age, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group score, tumor site, metastatic site, genotyping, and the stage of Western medicine treatment at the patient's first visit. The median survival time of patients who received the modelrecommended treatment plan was 35 months, while those who receive the actual treatment plan was 26.0 months(P=0.06). Conclusions:

Climate change and economic development impact the population expansion and water shortage in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River Basin (MYRB)， leading directly to drought aggravation-expansion and impacting agricultural production in the MYRB. Therefore， this study quantitatively evaluated agricultural drought vulnerability in the MYRB based on the variable fuzzy evaluation model (VFEM). The main conclusions are as follows: (1) The arable land in the MYRB gradually decreased between 2005 and 2020， whereas the forest cover decreased and then increased; (2) precipitation and evapotranspiration were the key factors affecting the agricultural drought vulnerability (e.g.， weights of 0.24 and 0.21)， whereas arable land density and gross domestic product (GDP) per capita played less significant roles; and (3) the agricultural drought vulnerability in the MYRB during 2005–2020 was mainly at level 3 and below， with higher drought vulnerability in the western and northern regions， which had a higher drought risk potential.

Impact of fluorine on crystal-melt separation in high-silica magma: Insights from muscovite in the Ramba leucogranite of Tethyan Himalaya

The process of crystal-melt separation in the high-silica magmatic mush is still a subject of debate. To explore the process， we conducted a detailed study of late Miocene leucogranites (SiO2＞70 wt.%) in the Ramba Dome of the Tethyan Himalaya， focusing on the genesis and fluorine content of muscovite. The Ramba leucogranites consist of two-mica granite with minor garnet-bearing granite. large and euhedral muscovites are found in both types of granite exhibiting different geochemical features. The muscovites from the two-mica granites exhibit lower F (mean value: ～0.41–0.43 wt.%)， FeO (mean value: ～1.75–1.81 wt.%)， but higher TiO2(mean value: ～0.61–0.73 wt.%) contents compared to those from the garnet-bearing granites (mean F value: ～0.72%; mean FeO value: 2.48 wt.%; mean TiO2value: ～0.23 wt.%). According to geochemical criteria， we categorized the muscovites from the two-mica granite as two groups: (1) crystallized from the early magma， and (2) formed from interstitial residual melt. In comparison， the muscovite from the garnet-bearing granite was likely crystallized from residual melt extracted from the same magmatic reservoir which underwent a higher degree of evolution. Accordingly， the two-mica granite represents the residual crystal mush consisting of early crystals crystallized from magma and trapped interstitial residual melt， while the garnet-bearing granite represents the aggregation of extracted residual melt. We examined the possibility of crystal-melt separation by estimating the variation of fluorine content and viscosity between the early magma and residual melt. Our results indicate a notable disparity in fluorine content between the residual melt (mean value: ～4364 ppm) and the early magma (mean value: ～2033 ppm). As a result， the estimated viscosity experiences a reduction from 106.52Pa s for the early magma to 105.87Pa s for the residual melt. The reflection of plane electromagnetic waves (TE wave and TM wave) from a perfect conductor which moves in an arbitrary direction is investigated. Based on Maxwell’s equations and the boundary conditions for moving boundary, the relation between the field vectors of reflected and incident waves, and the reflection coefficient are derived. The energy balance between incident and reflected waves, the force exerted by electromagnetic waves to the moving conductor are also discussed and some new conclusions are suggested for notice.

Catalytic oxidative alkane desaturation by base metals with benign oxidants under mild conditions is highly attractive,as it could enable an efficient way to produce valuable olefin *** we report the design and synthesis of macrocyclic and molecular cage copper complexes in catalyzing highly selective cyclohexane desaturation with H_(2)O_(2)/O_(2).The macrocycles and cages possess two to three phenanthroline units connected by versatile binary linkers or tripodal *** compounds readily formed bi-and tri-nuclear copper complexes with confined cavities and adaptive coordination environments,as suggested by X-ray single crystal *** the catalytic oxidation of cyclohexane,a considerable yield of cyclohexene with unprecedented dehydrogenation/oxygenation selectivity up to 6.1:1 was achieved with the optimal cage compound *** and mechanistic experiments suggested a pronounced cage effect and radical-mediated *** high selectivity was attributed to a cooperative effect between the copper centers,which facilitated the second hydrogen atom abstraction on the trapped cyclohexyl radical and the inhibition of the Fenton process within the shielding cavity environment.

Background and Aims:liver iron overload can induce hepatic expression of bone morphogenic protein(BMP)6 and activate the BMP/SMAD ***,serum iron overload can also activate SMAD but does not induce BMP6 ***,the mechanisms through which serum iron overload activates the BMP/SMAD pathway remain *** study aimed to clarify the role of SMURF1 in serum iron overload and the BMP/SMAD ***:A cell model of serum iron overload was established by treating hepatocytes with 2 mg/ml of holo-transferrin(Holo-Tf).A serum iron overload mouse model and a liver iron overload mouse model were established by intraperitoneally injecting 10 mg of Holo-Tf into C57Bl/6 mice and administering a high-iron diet for 1 week followed by a low-iron diet for 2 *** blotting and real-time PCR were performed to evaluate the activation of the BMP/SMAD pathway and the expression of ***:Holo-Tf augmented the sensitivity and responsiveness of hepatocytes to *** E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase SMURF1 mediated Holo-Tf-induced SMAD1/5 activation and hepcidin expression;specifically,SMURF1 expression dramatically decreased when the serum iron concentration was ***,the expression of SMURF1 substrates,which are important molecules involved in the transduction of BMP/SMAD signaling,was significantly ***,in vivo analyses confirmed that SMURF1 specifically regulated the BMP/SMAD pathway during serum iron ***:SMURF1 can specifically regulate the BMP/SMAD pathway by augmenting the responsiveness of hepatocytes to BMPs during serum iron overload.
