Research of autonomous manufacturing systems is motivated both by the new technical possibilities of cyber-physical systems and by the practical needs of the *** operation in semi-structured industrial environments can now be supported by advanced sensor technologies,digital twins,artificial intelligence and novel communication *** enable real-time monitoring of production processes,situation recognition and prediction,automated and adaptive(re)planning,teamwork and performance improvement by *** paper summarizes the main requirements towards autonomous industrial robotics and suggests a generic workflow for realizing such *** case studies will be presented from recent practice at HUN-REN SZtAKI in a broad range of domains such as assembly,welding,grinding,picking and placing,and *** various solutions have in common that they use a generic digital twin concept as their *** making general recommendations for realizing autonomous robotic solutions in the industry,open issues for future research will be discussed.

With the aim of developing more stable Gd(III)−porphyrin complexes,two types of ligands 1 and 2 with carboxylic acid anchors were *** to the N-substituted pyridyl cation attached to the porphyrin core,these porphyrin ligands were highly water-soluble and formed the corresponding Gd(III)chelates,Gd-1 and ***-1 was sufficiently stable in neutral buffer,presumably due to the preferred conformation of the carboxylateterminated anchors connected to nitrogen in the meta position of the pyridyl group helping to stabilize Gd(III)complexation by the porphyrin center.1H NMrd(nuclear magnetic relaxation dispersion)measurements on Gd-1 revealed high longitudinal water proton relaxivity(r1=21.2 mM^(−1)s^(−1)at 60 MHz and 25℃),which originates from slow rotational motion resulting from aggregation in aqueous *** visible light irradiation,Gd-1 showed extensive photoinduced DNA cleavage in line with efficient photoinduced singlet oxygen ***-based assays revealed no significant dark cytotoxicity of Gd-1,while it showed sufficient photocytotoxicity on cancer cell lines under visible light *** results indicate the potential of this Gd(III)−porphyrin complex(Gd-1)as a core for the development of bifunctional systems acting as an efficient photodynamic therapy photosensitizer(PDt-PS)with magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)detection capabilities.

Biological treatment of chicken feather waste for improved biogas production

A two-stage system was developed which combines the biological degradation of keratin-rich waste with the production of biogas. Chicken feather waste was treated biologically with a recombinant Bacillus megaterium strain showing keratinase activity prior to biogas production. Chopped, autoclaved chicken feathers （4%, W/V） were completely degraded, resulting in a yellowish fermentation broth with a level of 0.51 mg/ml soluble proteins after 8 days of cultivation of the recombinant strain. During the subsequent anaerobic batch digestion experiments, methane production of 0.35 Nm3/kg dry feathers （i.e., 0.4 Nm3/kg volatile solids of feathers）, corresponding to 80% of the theoretical value on proteins, was achieved from the feather hydrolyzates, independently of the pre- hydrolysis time period of 1, 2 or 8 days. Cultivation with a native keratinase producing strain, Bacillus licheniformis resulted in only 0.25 mg/ml soluble proteins in the feather hydrolyzate, which then was digested achieving a maximum accumulated methane production of 0.31 Nm3/kg dry feathers. Feather hydrolyzates treated with the wild type B. megaterium produced 0.21 Nm3 CH4/kg dry feathers as maximum yield.

γ-Gliadins are an important component of wheat seed storage proteins. Four novel γ-gliadin genes （Gli-ngl to Gli-ng4） were cloned from wheat （triticum aestivum） and Aegilops species. the novel γ-gliadins were much smaller in molecular size when compared to the typical γ-gliadins, which was caused by deletion of the non-repetitive domain, glutamine-rich region, 3＂ part of the repetitive domain, and 5＇ part of the C-terminal, possibly due to illegitimate recombination between the repetitive domain and the C-terminal. As a result, Gli-ngl and Gli-ng4 only contained two and three cysteine residues, respectively. Gli-ngl, as the representative of novel γ-gliadin genes, has been sub-cloned into an Escherichia coli expression system. SDS- PAGE indicated that the both cysteine residues of Gli-ngl could participate in the formation of intermolecular disulphide bonds in vitro. Successful cloning of Gli-ngl from seed cDNA of t. aestivum cv. Chinese Spring suggested that these novel γ-gliadin genes were normally transcribed during the development of seeds. Phylogenic analysis indicated that the four novel γ-gliadin genes had a closer relationship with those from the B （S） genome of wheat.

A systematic account of micro-textures and a few compositional profiles of plagioclase from high-alumina basaltic aa lava erupted during the year 1994-1995, from Barren Island Volcano, NE India ocean, are presented for the first time. the identified micro-textures can be grouped into two categories：（i） Growth related textures in the form of coarse/fine-sieve morphology, fine-scale oscillatory zoning and resorption surfaces resulted when the equilibrium at the crystal-melt interface was fluctuated due to change in temperature or H20 or pressure or composition of the crystallizing melt; and （ii） morphological texture, like glomerocryst, synneusis, swallow-tailed crystal, microlite and broken crystals, formed by the influence of dynamic behavior of the crystallizing magma （convection, turbulence, degassing, etc.）. Each micro-texture has developed in a specific magmatic environment, accordingly, a first order magma plumbing model and crystallization dynamics are envisaged for the studied lava unit. Magma generated has undergone extensive fractional crystallization of An-rich plagioclase in stable magmatic environment at a deeper depth. Subsequently they ascend to a shallow chamber where the newly brought crystals and pre-existing crystals have undergone dynamic crystallization via dissolution-regrowth processes in a convective self- mixing environment. Such repeated recharge-recycling processes have produced various populations of plagioclase with different micro-textural stratigraphy in the studied lava unit. Intermittent degassing and eruption related decompression have also played a major role in the final stage of crystallization dynamics.

Soumbara is produced in an artisanal way. this product has a relatively strong odor that is not appreciated by some consumers in Côte d'Ivoire. From surveys of women and consumers, the manufacturing technique and the motivations for consumption of soumbara were revealed. For the chemical composition, the average water content is 13.33 ± 1.52 g/100 g MF, the average value of the ash content is 4 ± 0 g/100 g MS. the total protein and lipid levels are 16.37 ± 0.71 g/100 g DM and 21.55 ± 0.46 g/100 g DM respectively. total carbohydrates, starch and total sugars are respectively 44.33 ± 1.46 g/100 g DM, 39.82 ± 32 g/100 g DM and 0.08 ± 0.01 mg glucose /ml. Concerning the phytochemical composition, the total polyphenols and total flavonoids have respectively contents of 2.74 ± 0.01 mg Eq AG ml of extract, and 0.82 ± 0.01 mg Eq Quer/ml of extract. the study notes that the iron and potassium contents are the most important with respectively 344.43 ± 1.20 μg/g and 174.5 ± 2.71 mg/g. the consumption survey revealed that soumbara produced in Côte d’Ivoire is relatively more consumed (55.77%) than that produced in other countries (44.23%). this artisanal product is appreciated for its taste (50.97%) and its therapeutic character (37.5%) in the form of grain (68.27%), powder (23.08%) or paste (8.65%). these data show that soumbara is very rich in nutrients, polyphenols and flavonoids. these results justify the numerous uses of this ingredient, both in food and in traditional medicine.

Plants of the genus Cordia(Boraginaceae family)are widely distributed in the tropical regions of America,Africa,and *** are extensively used in folk medicine due to their rich medicinal *** review presents a comprehensive analysis of the isolation,structure,biogenesis,and biological properties of quinones from Cordia species reported from 1972 to *** were identified as the major quinones in most Cordia species and are reported as a chemotaxonomic markers of the *** addition to this property,quinones are reported to display a wider and broader spectrum of activities,are efficient scaffold in biological activity,compared to other classes of compounds reported in Cordia,hence our focus on the study of quinones reported from Cordia *** 70 types of quinones have been isolated,while others have been identified by phytochemical screening or gas *** the biosynthesis of quinones from Cordia species is not yet fully understood,previous reports suggest that they may be derived from geranyl pyrophosphate and an aromatic precursor unit,followed by oxidative cyclization of the allylic methyl *** have demonstrated that quinones from this genus exhibit antifungal,larvicidal,antileishmanial,anti-inflammatory,antibiofilm,antimycobacterial,antioxidant,antimalarial,neuroinhibitory,and hemolytic *** addition,they have been shown to exhibit remarkable cytotoxic effects against several cancer cell lines which is likely related to their ability to inhibit electron transport as well as oxidative phosphorylation,and generate reactive oxygen species(ROS).their biological activities indicate potential utility in the development of new drugs,especially as active components in drug-carrier systems,against a broad spectrum of pathogens and ailments.
