The development of memory devices with functions that simultaneously process and store data is required for efficient *** achieve this,artificial synaptic devices have been proposed because they can construct hybrid networks with biological neurons and perform neuromorphic ***,irreversible aging of these electrical devices causes unavoidable performance *** several photonic approaches to controlling currents have been suggested,suppression of current levels and switching of analog conductance in a simple photonic manner remain ***,we demonstrated a nanograin network memory using reconfigurable percolation paths in a single Si nanowire with solid core/porous shell and pure solid core *** electrical and photonic control of current percolation paths enabled the analog and reversible adjustment of the persistent current level,exhibiting memory behavior and current suppression in this single nanowire *** addition,the synaptic behaviors of memory and erasure were demonstrated through potentiation and habituation *** habituation was achieved using laser illumination on the porous nanowire shell,with a linear decrease in the postsynaptic ***,synaptic elimination was emulated using two adjacent devices interconnected on a single ***,electrical and photonic reconfiguration of the conductive paths in Si nanograin networks will pave the way for next-generation nanodevice technologies.

Background： Fatigue is a common symptom both in diseases status and in healthy subjects. Various supplements and nutraceuticals for relieving of fatigue have been used. However, there are a few studies to evaluate the efficacy and the safety of the drug tbr fatigue alleviation, we conducted using URSA Complex to evaluate the efficacy on physical fatigue via score changes in the checklist individual strength （CIS）. Methods： The study was designed as a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, with subjects randomized to one of the two arms, receiving either placebo or URSA Complex administered as identical capsules. The primary efficacy endpoints of this clinical trials are the ratio of improving CIS scores 〈 76 points in patients at the end （4 weeks）. Secondary efficacy variables are as follows one is an improvement of fatigue and the other is an improvement of the liver enzyme. Results： The fatigue recovery rate in who had improved CIS scores of 〈 76 points were 70.0%, 50.9% in the therapy group and placebo group, respectively （P = 0.0l 9）. The fatigue recovery rate in CIS score was higher in URSA Complex therapy group than placebo group. The difference between therapy group and placebo group was statistically significant at 4 weeks later, but not 2 weeks. Conclusions： Our results provided that the URSA Complex was effective in alleviating physical fatigue. The adverse event frequency in the therapy groups was similar to that in the placebo group.

To investigate the foveal morphological changes and foveal avascular zone（FAZ）area before and after epiretinal membrane（ERM）***-two eyes with treatmentnaive ERM were included in this retrospective *** central foveal thickness（CFT）and FAZ area were measured via swept-source optical coherence tomography（SS-OCT）and OCT angiography pre-and *** unaffected fellow eyes were used as *** preoperative superficial FAZ area was significantly smaller in patients（0.08±0.04 mm^2）than in controls（0.33±0.09 mm^2;P〈0.001）.The postoperative superficial FAZ（0.12±0.06 mm^2）area was significantly greater than the preoperative area（P〈0.001）.The preoperative superficial FAZ area was strongly negatively correlated with CFT（P〈0.001,rho=-0.763）.ERM induced significant foveal morphological changes and reduction of the superficial FAZ *** thickness was restored and FAZ area increased ***,the process is rather slow and the recovery is incomplete.

This work details a newly developed“sandwich”nanoplatform via neutravidin-biotin system for the detection and treatment of ***,biotinylated-and folate-conjugated optical imaging micelles targeted activated macrophages via folate/folate receptor ***,multivalent neutravidin proteins in an optimal concentration accumulated on the biotinylated ***,biotinylated anti-inflammatory drug-loaded micelles delivered drugs effectively at the inflammatory sites via a highly specific neutravidin-biotin *** in vitro and in vivo studies have shown that the“sandwich”pretargeting platform was able to diagnose inflammation by targeting activated macrophages as well as improve the therapeutic efficacy by amplifying the drug delivery to the inflamed *** overall results support that our new pretargeting platform has the potential for inflammatory disease diagnosis and treatment.

The low-dimensional,highly anisotropic geometries,and superior mechanical properties of one-dimensional(1D) nanomaterials allow the exquisite strain engineering with a broad tunability inaccessible to bulk or thin-film *** capability enables unprecedented possibilities for probing intriguing physics and materials science in the 1-D *** the techniques for introducing controlled strains in 1D materials,nanoimprinting with embossed substrates attracts increased attention due to its capability to parallelly form nanomaterials into wrinkled structures with controlled periodicities,amplitudes,orientations at large scale with nanoscale ***,we systematically investigated the strain-engineered anisotropic optical properties in Te nanowires through introducing a controlled strain field using a resist-free thermally assisted nanoimprinting *** magnitude of induced strains can be tuned by adjusting the imprinting pressure,the nanowire diameter,and the patterns on the *** observed Raman spectra from the chiral-chain lattice of 1D Te reveal the strong lattice vibration response under the *** results suggest the potential of 1D Te as a promising candidate for flexible electronics,deformable optoelectronics,and wearable *** experimental platform can also enable the exquisite mechanical control in other nanomaterials using substrate-induced,on-demand,and controlled strains.

Simple keratectomy and corneal tattooing for limbal dermoids:results of a 3-year study

AIM:To evaluate and report the efficacy of combined surgical excision and corneal tattooing in patients with limbal dermoids.·METHODS:In a retrospective interventional case series,9 eyes of 8 patients were treated with combined surgery of simple keratectomy and corneal tattooing for limbal *** records,including best-corrected visual acuity,anterior segment photography,demographic,clinical data,and follow-up information were reviewed.·RESULTS:The mean follow up period in this study was 50±15(range 36-77) *** was no evidence of infection or recurrent limbal dermoids in any of the eyes during the follow-up *** patients achieved good cosmetic outcomes with no complications.·CONCLUSION:Simple keratectomy and corneal tattooing of limbal dermoids could be an alternative option for surgery,especially when a donor cornea is not available.

Herein,we propose a simple and rapid approach for synthesizing a CuS/Ru composite that serves as a bifunctional electrocatalyst to promote hydrogen production and concurrently convert sulfion into a value-added sulfur *** composite comprises Ru nanoclusters supported on the CuS nanostructure,achieved through simple pulsed laser irradiation in liquid *** optimized CuS/Ru-30 electrocatalyst demonstrates remarkable bifunctional electrocatalytic activity,exhibiting a negligible working potential of 0.28 V(***)for the anodic sulfion oxidation reaction(SOR)and a minimal overpotential of 182 m V for cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)to achieve 10 mA cm^(-2)of current ***,the Cu S/Ru-30 electrocatalyst shows exceptional selectivity for converting sulfion into valuable sulfur during anodic oxidation ***,in a two-electrode electrolyzer system utilizing Cu S/Ru-30 as both the anode and cathode,the SOR+HER coupled water electrolysis system demands only 0.52 V to reach 10 mA cm^(-2),which is considerably lesser compared to the OER+HER coupled water electrolysis(1.85 V).The experimental results and density function theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the strong electron interaction between CuS and Ru nanoclusters generates a built-in electric field,greatly enhancing electron transfer *** significantly boosts the HER performance and facilitates the adsorption and production of sulfur *** study presents a rapid and simple strategy for synthesizing a dual-functional catalyst suitable for low-voltage hydrogen generation while facilitating the recovery of valuable sulfur sources.

An Efficient Organic Additive to Control the Crystallization Rate of Aliphatic Polyketone: A Non-isothermal Crystallization Kinetics Study

Three types of organic compounds--two carboxylic acids and an anhydride, were used as additives for polyketone （PK）. The effect of the additive structure and their feed ratios on the melting temperature, crystallization temperature, and crystallization rate of PK were studied. We found that the crystallization temperature could be reduced significantly by introducing a small quantity of organic additive, in particular, an anhydride. On addition of 1 phr of anhydride, the crystallization temperature was reduced by 10.7 ℃. Therefore, the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of aliphatic PKJanhydride blends with various feed ratios was investigated using DSC. The results were analyzed by various theoretical models, such as Avrami, Ozawa and combined Avrami-Ozawa models.
