While log law is an equation theoretically derived for near-bed region, in most cases, power law has been researched by experimental methods. Thus, many consider it as an empirical equation and fixed power law exponents such as 1/6 and 1/7 are generally applied. However, exponent of power law is an index representing bed resistance related with relative roughness and furthermore influences the shapes of vertical velocity distribution. The purpose of this study is to investigate characteristics of vertical velocity distribution of the natural rivers by testing and optimizing previous methods used for determination of power law exponent with vertical velocity distribution data collected with ADCPs during the years of 2005 to 2009 from rivers in South Korea. Roughness coefficient has been calculated from the equation of Limerinos. And using theoretical and empirical formulae, and representing relationships between bed resistance and power law exponent, it has been evaluated whether the exponents suggested by these equations appropriately reproduce vertical velocity distribution of actual rivers. As a result, it has been confirmed that there is an increasing trend of power law exponent as bed resistance increases. Therefore, in order to correctly predict vertical velocity distribution in the natural rivers, it is necessary to use an exponent that reflects flow conditions at the field.

研制了一种用于GSM850/GSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900/UMTS频段的五频内置芯片天线.芯片天线将FR-4介质（介电常数为4.4）上的曲折线和螺旋线相结合,两者分别产生谐振频段进行叠加从而实现天线宽频工作特性.弯曲的折线结构实现了天线尺寸的小型化,天线的体积为20 mm×8 mm×3.2 mm,适合用作移动手机终端的内置天线.电路板的尺寸为40 mm×93 mm,适用于新款小型手机.在驻波比小于3时,测试低频带宽为146 MHz（1030-1176 MHz）,高频工作带宽为530 MHz（1756-2286 MHz）.

Analysis of the sensory threshold between paretic and nonparetic sides for healthy rehabilitation in hemiplegic patients after stroke

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the sensory threshold between the paretic and nonparetic sides of hemiplegic patients. 28 patients who were hemiplegic post-stroke (14 men and 14 women) participated in the electrical sensory and pain thresholds study;22 patients who were hemiplegic post-stroke (13 men, 9 women) participated in a study measureing the sensory threshold with light touch. Electrical sensory and pain thresholds were measured in the forearm via transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. The light-touch threshold was measured in the forearm using monofilaments. The light-touch, electrical sensory, and pain thresholds for the paretic side were significantly higher than for the nonparetic side in our population, respectively. In both the nonparetic and paretic sides, the male group generally showed higher thresholds for pain and sensation than did the female group. These results suggest that the different evaluations of sensory thresholds performed in this study for healthy rehabilitation will be a valuable clinical tool in hemiplegic patients after stroke.

动结式宾语是汉语的重要语法结构之一。在越南的汉语教学中,汉语结果补语以及动结式一直是汉语教学和汉越对比研究的重点之一。目前关于汉越语动结式的对比研究主要集中于汉越结果补语的语义、语法结构对比以及学习者的偏误分析,而关于动结式与宾语关系的对比研究较少。近几年来,汉语的动结式假宾语结构以及假宾语有关研究成为一个热点。假宾语是一个跨语言现象,越南语里也有假宾语现象以及动结式与假宾语结合的结构。因此本论文选择汉越语动结式假宾语结构为研究对象,采用对比研究法,并结合定量研究和定性研究,对汉越动结式假宾语在分类、语义功能和翻译表达等方面进行描述和分析,找出两种语言之间的异同。首先,根据假宾语与动词施事者的语义关系,本文发现汉越动结式假宾语均可分成6类:施事、身体部位、参与者领属物、工具、空间和时间。通过分析和对比汉越的每一类动结式假宾语的语法和语义特点,发现两者在分类方面上存在着许多相同之处,同时也存在不少的差异。汉语动结式施事假宾语、身体部位假宾语和空间假宾语的使用频率最高;越南语动结假宾语多为身体部位和空间假宾语。其次,本文分析动结式假宾语的因果语义关系,以及结果补语和假宾语的语义搭配关系。汉越动结式假宾语的谓语动词多为单音节动词,可以是及物动词,也可以是不及物动词。而结果补语大部分都是表示负面和消极意义的单音节动词或形容词,少数为表示积极意义的单音节词。之后总结了汉越动结式假宾语结构在语义方面上的异同。接着,本文指出汉越动结式假宾语结构常表示特殊的语义色彩。许多汉越动结式假宾语结构都运用了修辞手法,比如:通感、夸张和借代,而转喻修辞法只出现于越南语动结式假宾语里。此外,本文对汉越文学作品原文和译文中动结式假宾语的翻译进行对比分析时发现,虽然汉越语都有动结式假宾语的用法,而且也有许多相同之处,但汉越对等翻译的精准度还存在一些问题,本文进一步探究了影响汉越动结式假宾语翻译效果的因素,指出汉越动结式假宾语翻译的常见错误,并提出了一些翻译建议。最后,本文还对对外汉语教学中的动结式假宾语教学提出了建议。

We study numerical methods for level set like equations arising in image processing and curve evolution problems. Semi-implicit finite volume-element type schemes are constructed for the general level set like equation （image selective smoothing model） given by Alvarez et al. （Alvarez L, Lions P L, Morel J M. Image selective smoothing and edge detection by nonlinear diffusion II. SIAM J. Numer. Anal., 1992, 29： 845-866）. Through the reasonable semi-implicit discretization in time and co-volume method for space approximation, we give finite volume schemes, unconditionally stable in L∞ and W1＇2 （W1＇1） sense in isotropic （anisotropic） diffu- sion domain.

Carbon microcoils were deposited onto Al2O3 substrates using C2H2/H2 as source gases and SF6 as an incorporated additive gas in a thermal chemical vapor deposition system. At as-grown state, the carbon coils (d-CCs) show the diverse geometry. The geometry-controlled carbon microcoils (g-CMCs) could be obtained by manipulating the injection time of SF6 in C2H2 source gas. The d-CCs with polyurethane (PU) composite (d-CC@PU) and the g-CMCs with PU composite (g-CMC@PU) were obtained by dispersing d-CCs and g-CMCs in PU, respectively. The electromagnetic wave shielding properties of d-CC@PU and g-CMC@PU composites were investigated in the frequency range of 0.25 - 4.0 GHz. The shielding effectiveness (SE) of d-CC@PU and g-CMC@PU composites were measured and discussed according to the weight percent of d-CCs and g-CMCs in the composites with the thickness of the composites layers. On the whole frequency range in this work, the SE of g-CMC@PU composites was higher than those of d-CC@PU composites, irrespective of the weight percent of carbon coils in the composites and the layer thickness. Furthermore, we confirmed that the absorption mechanism, instead of the reflection mechanism, seemed to play the critical role to shield the EMI for not only the g-CMC@PU composites but also the d-CC@PU composites.

Development of a Hybrid Best Management Practice System for Control of Agricultural Nonpoint Water Pollution

Agricultural drainage ditches play an important role in removing surplus water;however, these can also potentially act as major conduits of agricultural nonpoint source pollutants, including sediment, nitrogen, and phosphorus. A supplementary hybrid system to limit such pollution was developed in this study;this consists of biodegradable fiber check dams, used in combination with a synthetic polymer (Polyacrylamide, PAM). An open channel experiment was conducted to optimize the design of the hybrid system, taking into account a variety of physical and hydraulic conditions. Subsequent field application of the hybrid system improved runoff water quality, such as 10.0% to 98.3% reduction for suspended solids, 25.2% to 98.4% reduction for turbidity, 21.1% to 91.1% increase for BOD, 19.2% to 75.4% increase for COD, 21.0% to 73.3% reduction for T-N, 5.9% to 91.2% reduction for T-P and 35.7% to 97.6% reduction for fecal coliforms. This clearly showed that this hybrid system could play a significant role in supplementing conventional best management practices.
