AIM： To identify the clinicopathological characteristics of lymph node-negative gastric carcinoma, and also to evaluate outcome indicators in the lymph node-negative patients.METHODS： Of 2848 gastric carcinoma patients, 1524 （53.5%） were lymph nede-negative. A statistical analysis was performed using the Cox model to estimate outcome indicators. RESULTS： There was a significant difference in the recurrence rate between lymph nede-negative and lymph node-positive patients （14.4% vs 41.0%, P〈0.001）. The 5-year survival rate was significantly lower in lymph node-positive than in lymph node-negative patients （31.1% vs 77.4%, P〈0.001）. Univariate analysis revealed that the following factors influenced the 5-year survival rate： patient age, tumor size, depth of invasion, tumor location, operative type, and tumor stage at initial diagnosis. The Cox proportional hazard regression model revealed that tumor size, serosal invasion, and curability were independent, statistically significant, prognostic indicators of lymph node-negative gastric carcinoma. CONCLUSION： Lymph node-negative patients have a favorable outcome attributable to high curability, but the patients with relatively large tumors and serosal invasion have a poor prognosis. Curability is one of the most reliable predictors of long-term survival for lymph nodenegative gastric carcinoma patients.

A critical challenge hindering the practical application of lithium–oxygen batteries(LOBs)is the inevitable problems associated with liquid electrolytes,such as evaporation and safety *** study addresses these problems by proposing a modified polyrotaxane(mPR)-based solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)design that simultaneously mitigates solvent-related problems and improves ***-SPE exhibits high ion conductivity(2.8×10^(−3)S cm^(−1)at 25℃)through aligned ion conduction pathways and provides electrode protection ability through hydrophobic chain *** this mPR-SPE into solid-state LOBs resulted in stable potentials over 300 *** situ Raman spectroscopy reveals the presence of an LiO_(2)intermediate alongside Li_(2)O_(2)during oxygen *** situ X-ray diffraction confirm the ability of the SPE to hinder the permeation of oxygen and moisture,as demonstrated by the air permeability *** present study suggests that maintaining a low residual solvent while achieving high ionic conductivity is crucial for restricting the sub-reactions of solid-state LOBs.

Chronic alcohol consumption is one of the most common causes of the progression of alcoholic liver disease(ALD). In the past, alcohol-mediated hepatocyte injury was assumed to be a significantly major cause of ALD. However, a huge number of recent and brilliant studies have demonstrated that hepatic non-parenchymal cells including Kupffer cells, hepatic stellate cells, liver sinusoidal endothelial cells and diverse types of lymphocytes play crucial roles in the pathogenesis of ALD by producing inflammatory mediators such as cytokines, oxidative stress, micro RNA, and lipid-originated metabolites(retinoic acid and endocannabinoids) or by directly interacting with parenchymal cells(hepatocytes). Therefore, understanding the comprehensive roles of hepatic nonparenchymal cells during the development of ALD will provide new integrative directions for the treatment of ALD. This review will address the roles of nonparenchymal cells in alcoholic steatosis, inflammation, and liver fibrosis and might help us to discover possible therapeutic targets and treatments involving modulating the non-parenchymal cells in ALD.

This research was conducted to study the performances of the heat and multilayer reflection insulators used for buildings in South Korea to realize eco-friendly, low-energy-consumption, green construction, and to contribute to energy consumption reduction in buildings and to the nation＇s greenhouse gas emission reduction policy （targeting 30% reduction compared to BAUCousiness as usual） by 2020）. The heat insulation performance test is about the temperatures on surfaces of test piece. The high air temperature and the low air temperature were measured to determine the overall heat transfer coefficient and thermal conductivity. The conclusions are drawn that the heat transmission coefficients for each type of existing reflection insulator are： A-1 （0.045 W/（m-K））, A-2 （0.031 W/（m.K））, A-3 （0.042 W/（m.K））, A-4 （0.078 W/（m.K））, and the average heat conductivity is 0.049 W/（m-K）; The heat conductivity for each type of Styrofoam insulator are 0.030 W/（m.K） for B-l, 0.032 W/（m-K） for B-2, 0.037 W/（m＇K） for B-3, 0.037 W/（m.K） for B-4, and the average heat conductivity is 0.035 W/（m＇K） regardless of the thickness of the insulator; The heat conductivity values of the multilayer reflection insulators are converted based on the thickness and type C-1 （0.020 W/（m.K））, C-2 （0.018 W/（m.K））, C-3 （0.016 W/（m.K））, and C-4 （0.012 W/（m.K））; The multilayer reflection insulator keeps the indoor-side surface temperature high （during winter） or low （in summer）, enhances the comfort of the building occupants, and conducts heating and moisture resistance to prevent dew condensation on the glass-outer-wall surface.

In this paper, we propose a new prediction from expert demonstration （PED） methodology to improve reliability and safety in tele-surgery. Data was collected from expert （clinician） demonstrations for the procedure of trocar insertion. We encoded a set of force, torque and penetration trajectories by using a Gaussian mixture model （GMM）. A generalization of these profiles and associated parameters were retrieved by Gaussian mixture regression （GMR）. We validated the proposed methodology for tele-robotic placement of the trocar in two stages. First, we tested the efficacy of the proposed PED approach for handling transmission error and latency. Our results showed that for the average case （12% packet error and 1070 loss of packet）, a 58.8~0 improvement in performance was obtained in comparison to using an extended Kalman filter. Next, we validated the methodology for surgical assistance on 15 participants. A haptic assistance mode was devised based on the proposed PED model to assist inexperienced operators to perform the procedure. The PED model was tested for instrument deviation, penetration force and penetration depth. Preliminary study results showed that participants with PED assistance performed the task with more consistency and exerted lesser penetration force than subjects without assistance.

BACKGROUND Several studies have demonstrated that airborne transmission of Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria from patients with active pulmonary tuberculosis(TB) to other passengers or crew members can occur during long flights. As such, non-infectious TB patients are usually allowed to undertake air travel after taking the appropriate anti-TB drugs. However, the global guidelines for air travel for patients with TB are inconsistent and insufficiently detailed with respect to cavitary pulmonary TB(CPTB).CASE SUMMARY Here, we report a case in which a patient with multiple CPTB was permitted air travel, following negative sputum acid-fast bacilli smear tests after administration of proper anti-TB medication. An integrated program was established to design a combustor for a liquid rocket engine and to analyze regenerative cooling results on a preliminary design *** of burnt gas from a kerosene-LOx mixture in the combustor and rocket performance were calculated from CEA which is the code for the calculation of chemical *** heat transfer of regenerative cooling was analyzed by using SUPERTRAPP code for coolant properties and by one-dimensional correlations of the heat transfer coefficient from the combustor liner to the *** of the combustors of F-1 and RS-27A engines were designed from similar input data and the present results were compared to actual data for ***,the combustors of 30 tonf class,75 tonf class and 150 tonf class were designed from the required thrust,combustion chamber,exit pressure and mixture ratio of *** wall temperature,heat flux and pressure drop were calculated for heat transfer analysis of regenerative cooling using the profiles.

Mucormycosis is an uncommon opportunistic fungal infection with high mortality in liver transplant recipients. Mucormycosis of the gastrointestinal tract can manifest with features similar to ischemic colitis. Typically signs and symptoms of non-gangrenous ischemic colitis resolve spontaneously within 24-48 h. On the other hand, the clinical course of the mucormycosis is commonly fulminant. We encountered a case of invasive fungal colitis presenting with abdominal pain and hematochezia in a liver transplant recipient. Endoscopic examination showed multiple shallow ulcerations and edema with mucosal friabilities on the sigmoid and distal descending colon, which was consistent with ischemic colitis. However, the histological examination obtained from endoscopic biopsies showed fungal hyphae withsurrounding inflammatory cells and mucosal necrosis. The patient was successfully managed with antifungal agent without surgical treatment. Thus, early diagnosis and treatment is essential for improving the prognosis of invasive fungal infection after liver transplantation.
