In eukaryotic genome biology,the genomic organization inside the three-dimensional(3d)nucleus is highly complex,and whether this organization governs gene expression is poorly *** lamina(NL)is a filamentous meshwork of proteins present at the lining of inner nuclear membrane that serves as an anchoring platform for genome *** chromatin domains termed as lamina-associated domains(LAds),play a major role in silencing genes at the nuclear *** interaction of the NL and genome is dynamic and ***,many genes change their positions during developmental processes or under disease conditions such as cancer,to activate certain sorts of genes and/or silence *** heterochromatin(PCH)is mostly in the silenced region within the genome,which localizes at the nuclear *** show that several genes located at the PCH are aberrantly expressed in *** interesting question is that despite being localized in the pericentromeric region,how these genes still manage to overcome pericentromeric *** epigenetic mechanisms control the expression of the pericentromeric region,recent studies about genome organization and genome-nuclear lamina interaction have shed light on a new aspect of pericentromeric gene regulation through a complex and coordinated interplay between epigenomic remodeling and genomic organization in Cancer.

We explore the capabilities and limitations of 3d printed microserpentines(µserpentines)and utilize these structures to develop dynamic 3d microelectrodes for potential applications in in vitro,wearable,and implantable microelectrode arrays(MEAs).The device incorporates optimized 3d printedµserpentine designs with out-of-plane microelectrode structures,integrated on to a flexible Kapton®package with micromolded PdMS *** flexibility of the optimized,printedµserpentine design was calculated through effective stiffness and effective strain equations,so as to allow for analysis of various designs for enhanced *** optimized,down selectedµserpentine design was further sputter coated with 7–70 nm-thick gold and the performance of these coatings was studied for maintenance of conductivity during uniaxial strain ***/conforming analysis of the final devices(3d MEAs with a Kapton®package and PdMS insulation)were performed to qualitatively assess the robustness of the finished device toward dynamic MEA applications.3d microelectrode impedance measurements varied from 4.2 to 5.2 kΩduring the bending process demonstrating a small change and an example application with artificial agarose skin composite model to assess feasibility for basic transdermal electrical recording was further demonstrated.

The present work deals with the possibility of propagation of torsional surface wave in an inhomogeneous crustal layer over an inhomogeneous half space. The layer has inhomogeneity which varies linearly with depth whereas the inhomogeneous half space exhibits inhomogeneity of three types, namely, exponential, quadratic, and hyperbolic discussed separately. The dispersion equation is deduced for each case in a closed form. For a layer over a homogeneous half space, the dispersion equation agrees with the equa- tion of the classical case. It is observed that the inhomogeneity factor due to linear variation in density in the inhomogeneous crustal layer decreases as the phase velocity increases, while the inhomogeneity factor in rigidity has the reverse effect on the phase velocity.

The paper studies the propagation of Love waves in a non-homogeneous substratum over an initially stressed heterogeneous half-space. The dispersion equation of phase velocity is derived. The velocities of Love waves are calculated numerically as a function of kH and presented in a number of graphs, where k is the wave number, and H is the thickness of the layer. The case of Gibson＇s half-space is also considered. It is observed that the speed of Love waves is finite in the vicinity of the surface of the half-space and vanishes as the depth increases for a particular wave number. It is also observed that an increase in compressive initial stresses causes decreases of Love waves velocity for the same frequency, and the tensile initial stress of small magnitude in the half-space causes increase of the velocity.

目的:糖尿病、高血压和合并症仍然是孟加拉国的主要公共卫生问题。然而,在孟加拉国开展研究以找出糖尿病、高血压和合并症的相关因素和社会经济不平等关联研究很少。本研究旨在探讨孟加拉国成年人糖尿病、高血压和合并症的患病率、相关危险因素和社会经济不平对于患病率的影响。方法:本研究使用了2017-18年最新的孟加拉国人口与健康调查(BdHS)。共有12,136名(加权)孟加拉成年男性和女性参加了这项研究。采用多水平(混合效应)二元逻辑回归分析来确定与糖尿病、高血压和合并症相关的因素,其中集群被视为2级因素。浓度曲线(CC)和浓度指数(CIX)用于评价社会经济不平等对糖尿病、高血压和合并症的患病率的影响。结果:糖尿病、高血压和合并症的年龄调整患病率分别为11.71%、32.97%和6.06%。年龄、体重指数、身体活动、家庭财富状况和不同的行政区划与研究参与者的糖尿病、高血压以及合并症显着相关。此外,参与者的吸烟状况与高血压有关,女性比男性更容易患高血压和合并症。发现糖尿病(CIX:0.251,p<0.001)、高血压(CIX:0.071,p<0.001)和合并症(CIX:0.340,p<0.001)在高家庭财富组中较高,因为CIX值为正且Lorenz曲线位于等值线下方。结论:本研究得出结论,糖尿病和高血压在孟加拉国城市地区的富裕人群中更为普遍。人们认识到,财富分配和地理位置的不平等加剧了常见慢性病的疾病负担。本研究为制定不同地区和人群的慢性病重点干预策略提供研究证据。

Moirésuperlattices of transition metal dichalcogenide(TMd)heterostructures give rise to rich excitonic phenomena associated with the interlayer twist *** calculations of excitons in such systems are typically based on model moirépotentials that mitigate the computational ***,predictive understanding of the electron-hole coupling dominating the excitations is crucial to realize the twist-induced modifications of the optical selection *** this work,we use many-body perturbation theory to evaluate the relation between twist angle and exciton properties in TMd *** present an approach for unfolding excitonic states from the moiréBrillouin zone onto the separate-layer *** this method to a large-angle twisted MoS^(2)/MoSe^(2) bilayer,we find that the optical spectrum is dominated by mixed electron–hole transitions with different momenta in the separate monolayers,leading to unexpected hybridization between interlayer and intralayer *** findings offer a design pathway for exciton layer-localization in TMd heterostructures.

Iron ore powder was isothermally reduced at 1023-1373 Kwith hydrogen/carbon monoxide gas mixture(from 0vol%H_(2)/100vol%CO to 100vol%H_(2)/0vol%CO).Results indicated that the whole reduction process could be divided into two parts that proceed in *** first part represents a double-step reduction(Fe_(2)O_(3)→Fe_(3)O_(4)→FeO),in which the kinetic condition is more feasible compared with that in the second part representing a single-step reduction(FeO→Fe).The influence of hydrogen partial pressure on the reduction rate gradually increases as the reaction *** average reduction rate of hematite ore with pure hydrogen is about three and four times higher than that with pure carbon monoxide at 1173 and 1373 K,*** addition,the logarithm of the average rate is linear to the composition of the gas *** can prominently promote carbon deposition to about 30%at 1023 *** apparent activation energy of the reduction stage increases from about 35.0 to 45.4 kJ/mol with the increase in hydrogen content from 20vol%to 100vol%.This finding reveals that the possible rate-controlling step at this stage is the combined gas diffusion and interfacial chemical reaction.

Uncertainty of soil erosion modelling using open source high resolution and aggregated dEMs

digital Elevation Model （dEM） is one of the important parameters for soil erosion assessment. Notable uncertainties are observed in this study while using three high resolution open source dEMs. The Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation （RUSLE） model has been applied to analysis the assessment of soil erosion uncertainty using open source dEMs （SRTM, ASTER and CARTOSAT） and their increasing grid space （pixel size） from the actual. The study area is a part of the Narmada river basin in Madhya Pradesh state, which is located in the central part of India and the area covered 20,558 km2. The actual resolution of dEMs is 30 m and their increasing grid spaces are taken as 90, 150, 210, 270 and 330 m for this study. Vertical accuracy of dEMs has been assessed using actual heights of the sample points that have been taken considering planimetric survey based map （toposheet）. Elevations of dEMs are converted to the same vertical datum from WGS 84 to MSL （Mean Sea Level）, before the accuracy assessment and modelling. Results indicate that the accuracy of the SRTM dEM with the RMSE of 13.31, 14.51, and 18.19 m in 30, 150 and 330 m resolution respectively, is better than the ASTER and the CARTOSAT dEMs. When the grid space of the dEMs increases, the accuracy of the elevation and calculated soil erosion decreases. This study presents a potential uncertainty introduced by open source high resolution dEMs in the accuracy of the soil erosion assessment models. The research provides an analysis of errors in selecting dEMs using the original and increased grid space for soil erosion modelling.
