The global coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has become one of the biggest threats to the world since *** respiratory and gastrointestinal tracts are the main targets for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection for they highly express angiotensin-converting enzyme-2 and transmembrane protease serine *** patients suffering from COVID-19,gastrointestinal symptoms have ranged from 12%to 61%.Anorexia,nausea and/or vomiting,diarrhea,and abdominal pain are considered to be the main gastrointestinal symptoms of *** has been reported that the direct damage of intestinal mucosal epithelial cells,malnutrition,and intestinal flora disorders are involved in ***,the underlying mechanisms remain ***,in this study,we reviewed and discussed the correlated mechanisms that cause gastrointestinal symptoms in order to help to develop the treatment strategy and build an appropriate guideline for medical workers.

High transparency and toughness are prerequisites for sustainable polymers if they are to find wide application as alternatives to petroleum-based ***,the utility of sustainable polymers such as commercially available polylactide(PLA)is limited by their inherent brittleness and high ***,toughening PLA-based materials via cost-effective blending strategies without sacrificing transparency remains a ***,we report a novel strategy involving active refractive index matching for creation of highly transparent and tough PLA ***,we engineered the refractive index of a promising renewable poly(epichlorohydrin-co-ethylene oxide)elastomer by introducing polar ionic moieties via a simple chemical method,and we blended the resulting ionomers with *** best blend showed an impact strength of>80 kJ/m2,an elongation at break of 400%,and high transparency(90%).These characteristics are of great importance for potential applications such as *** strategy offers a versatile new way to prepare high-performance sustainable polymer materials with excellent transparency.

Imidazolium-based elastomeric ionomers （i-BIIR） were facilely synthesized by ionically modified brominated poly（isobutylene-co-isoprene）（BIIR） with different alkyl chain imidazole and thoroughly explored as novel toughening agents for poly（lactic acid）（PLA）. The miscibility, thermal behavior, phase morphology and mechanical property of ionomers and blends were investigated through dynamic mechanical analyses （DMA）, differential scanning calorimetry （DSC）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, tensile and impact testing. DMA and SEM results showed that better compatibility between the PLA and i-BIIR was achieved compared to the PLA/unmodified BIIR elastomer. A remarkable improvement in ductility with an optimum elongation at break up to 235% was achieved for the PLA/i-BIIR blends with 1-dodecylimidazole alkyl chain （i-BIIR-12）, more than 10 times higher than that of pure PLA. The impact strengths of PLA were enhanced from 1.9 kJ/m2 to 4.1 k J/m2 for the PLA/10 wt% i-BIIR-12 blend. Toughening mechanism had been established by systematical analysis of the compatibility, intermolecular interaction and phase structures of the blends. Interracial cavitations initiated massive shear yielding of the PLA matrix owing to a suitable interfacial adhesion which played a key role in the enormous toughening effect in these blends. We believed that introducing imidazolium group into the BIIR elastomer was vital for the formation of a suitable interfacial adhesion.

The major and trace elemental compositions of clinopyroxene from basalt were used to characterize the nature of the primitive magma and structural environment beneath the southern Okinawa Trough(SOT),which is an initial back-arc basin at a continental *** clinopyroxenes in the basalt were augite with variable Mg^(#)contents(73.37-78.22).The regular variations in major oxide contents(i.e.,CaO,FeO,TiO_(2),and Cr)with decreasing Mg#implied that the clinopyroxenes evolved from being enriched in Mg,Ca,and Cr to being enriched in Fe and *** clinopyroxenes had relatively low rare earth element concentrations(7.51×10^(-6) to 12.68×10^(-6))and negative Eu anomalies(δEu=0.67-0.95).The Kd_(cpx) values of clinopyroxenes(0.2-0.26),which were used to examine whether the clinopyroxene was equilibrated with its host basalt,demonstrate that these clinopyroxene phenocrysts were not captured crystals but were instead produced by crystallization differentiation of the *** calculated clinopyroxene crystallization temperatures showed a narrow range of 990-1061℃,and their crystallization pressures ranged from 2.0 to 3.2 *** geochemistry features of these clinopyroxenes indicated that the parent magma belonged to the subalkaline tholeiitic magma series and suggested that the magma experienced crystallization differentiation of olivine,plagioclase,and clinopyroxene,where the crystallization of plagioclase occurred earlier than that of *** with geophysical data,this research on primitive magma and its crystallization differentiation from clinopyroxene indicates that the SOT is in the stage of‘seafloor spreading’and that basaltic rocks produced from tholeiitic magma represent the generation of oceanic crust.

研究目的:腐殖酸(HA)对富勒烯(C60)粉末的悬浮作用以及pH、离子强度对HA-C60悬浮性能的影响。创新要点:研究水质条件对C60悬浮性能的影响。研究方法:测定C60粉末在HA溶液中的zeta电位,水力学粒径和悬浮浓度;HA存在下,C60悬浮体系的zeta电位与水力学粒径随pH的变化及C60悬浮体系团聚动力学随离子强度的变化。重要结论:HA对C60粉末起到一定的分散作用,但不能使其长时间稳定悬浮于水中。当pH<4时,C60水悬液开始沉淀;而当HA存在时,C60水悬液在pH 3–11范围内都保持稳定,这是由于HA吸附于C60表面,通过静电排斥和空间位阻作用,促进C60分散悬浮。C60水悬液的稳定性随盐离子价位和浓度升高而降低。HA会抑制Na+对C60水悬液的脱稳作用;但高价离子Ca2+和La3+存在时,HA与C60之间会发生桥联从而促进C60水悬液脱稳沉淀。

With lanthanum(La) in agriculture, medicine, and the chemical industry, La shows accumulation in the body, especially in the bone, because of its similar structure to calcium. Moreover, La has a direct role in bone formation regulating osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Nevertheless, bone formation is complex under the regulation of osteogenesis, osteoclastogenesis, and angiogenesis in the bone microenvironment. It is difficult to comprehensively understand the regulation of bone homeostasis from a single kind of ***, some bone microenvironment-related cells and mouse calvaria culture models were used to study the regulatory effect of La-based compound-lanthanum nitrate(La(NO_(3))_(3)) on bone ***(NO_(3))_(3) has good biological safety, and the osteogenic differentiation is significantly increased under La(NO_(3))_(3) treatment for bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMMSC). In contrast, the differentiation,maturation, and bone erosion ability of osteoclasts are significantly decreased. Meanwhile, the angiogenesis ability of human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVEC) is significantly promoted when treated with La(NO_(3))_(3). Furthermore, bone metabolism and angiogenesis are improved under La(NO_(3))_(3) treatment in the calvaria ex vivo culture model and BMMSC-HUVEC co-culture system. These results suggest that La has the beneficial effect of promoting bone metabolism and improving bone formation in the bone microenvironment.
