Objective: Study the contribution of the dIVA 3d dissection table in the teaching of anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine and Odontology of Bamako. Material and Methods: This was a qualitative study carried out from November 1 to december 30, 2023 at the clinical and morphological anatomy laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine and Odontostomatology of Bamako. Included in this study were students who participated in practical and tutorial sessions. The variables studied during this study were: the previous performance of dissection on a cadaver by the students, the opinion of the students on dissection on a cadaver, the replacement of dissection on a cadaver by virtual dissection in the absence of a body, the level student satisfaction. Results: We surveyed 130 participants. The average age was 22 ± 0.2 years with extremes of 17 and 29 years. 95.3% of participants were students. According to 66.7% of participants, virtual dissection is a good palliative in the absence of a corpse. 95.3% of participants found using the virtual dissection table easy with an average of 7.88 ± 1.4. The overall assessment was well rated by 99.3% of participants. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, the virtual dissection table should be improved by integrating commented videos. The use of the dIVA 3d virtual dissection table during practical and tutorial sessions is well appreciated by the students. We believe that the teaching of anatomy using 3d digital technology should be included in the study programs of the Faculty of Medicine and Odontostomatology.

Applying the classical Lie symmetry approach to the barotropic and quasi-geostrophic potential vorticity equation without forcing and dissipation on a β-plane channel, we find a new symmetry, which is not presented in a previous work [F. Huang, Commun. Theor. Phys. （Beijing, China） 42 （2004） 903]. A general finite transformation group is obtained based on the full Lie point symmetry, Furthermore, two new types of similarity reduction solutions are obtained.

Tectonic significance of dykes in the Sarnu-dandali alkaline complex,Rajasthan, northwestern deccan Traps

Whether swarms of preferentially oriented dykes are controlled by regional stress fields, or passively exploit basement structural fabric, is a much debated question, with support for either scenario in individual case studies. The Sarnu-dandali alkaline complex, near the northwestern limit of the deccan Traps continental flood basalt province, contains mafic to felsic alkaline volcano-plutonic rocks and carbonatites. The complex is situated near the northern end of the 600 km long, NNWe SSE-trending Barmer-Cambay rift. Mafic enclave swarms in the syenites suggest synplutonic mafic dykes injected into a largely liquid felsic magma chamber. Later coherent dykes in the complex, of all compositions and sizes,dominantly strike NNWe SSE, parallel to the Barmer-Cambay rift. The rift formed during two distinct episodes of extension, NWe SE in the early Cretaceous and NEe SW in the late Cretaceous. Control of the southern Indian dharwar structural fabric on the rift trend, as speculated previously, is untenable,whereas the regional Precambrian basement trends（Aravalli and Malani） run NEe SW and NNEe *** therefore suggest that the small-scale Sarnu-dandali dykes and the much larger-scale BarmerCambay rift were not controlled by basement structure, but related to contemporaneous, late Cretaceous regional ENEe WSW extension, for which there is varied independent evidence.

In this article,we use the robust optimization approach(also called the worst-case approach)for findingε-efficient solutions of the robust multiobjective optimization problem defined as a robust(worst-case)counterpart for the considered nonsmooth multiobjective programming problem with the uncertainty in both the objective and constraint ***,we establish both necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for a feasible solution to be anε-efficient solution(an approximate efficient solution)of the considered robust multiobjective optimization *** also use a scalarizing method in proving these optimality conditions.

In recent times,the images and videos have emerged as one of the most important information source depicting the real time *** images nowadays serve as input for many applications and replacing the manual methods due to their capabilities of 3d scene representation in 2d *** capabilities of digital images along with utilization of machine learning methodologies are showing promising accuracies in many applications of prediction and pattern *** of the application fields pertains to detection of diseases occurring in the plants,which are destroying the widespread *** the disease detection process was done by a domain expert using manual examination and laboratory *** is a tedious and time consuming process and does not suffice the accuracy *** creates a room for the research in developing automation based methods where the images captured through sensors and cameras will be used for detection of disease and control its *** digital images captured from the field’s forms the dataset which trains the machine learning models to predict the nature of the *** accuracy of these models is greatly affected by the amount of noise and ailments present in the input images,appropriate segmentation methodology,feature vector development and the choice of machine learning *** ensure the high rated performance of the designed system the research is moving in a direction to fine tune each and every stage separately considering their dependencies on subsequent *** the most optimum solution can be obtained by considering the image processing methodologies for improving the quality of image and then applying statistical methods for feature extraction and *** training vector thus developed is capable of presenting the relationship between the feature values and the target *** this article,a highly accurate system model for detecting the diseases occurring in citrus fruits

The present study investigated the effects of Lactobacillus acidophilus(LBA)and mannan-oligosaccharides(MOS)supplementation on the production performance,serum biochemistry,antioxidant profile,health indices,meat quality,and lipid oxidative stability of broiler chicken.A total of 252 commercial broiler chickens at 1 d old of uniform body weight were randomly allocated to 6 maize-soybean-based dietary treatments:T1(control diet),T2(antibiotic bacitracin methylene di-salicylate[BMd]at 20 mg/kg diet),T3(MOS at 0.1%+LBA at 10^6 CFU/g feed),T4(MOS at 0.1%+LBA at 10^7 CFU/g feed),T5(MOS at 0.2%+LBA at10^6 CFU/g feed),and T6(MOS at 0.2%+LBA at 10^7 CFU/g feed).Each treatment was assigned to 6 replicates of 7 *** samples for meat quality and serum biochemistry analysis were taken from 12 birds per treatment(2 birds/replicate).The results revealed better(Pd production efficiency of birds fed either T5 or T6 diet compared to control or BMd supplemented diet and BMd-supplemented birds superseded the control ***(Pd liver antioxidant enzyme activities,meat antioxidant capacity(2,2-azinobis-3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid[ABTS]and 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl[dPPH]assays),serum total protein,high-density lipoproteins(HdL)cholesterol(Pd globulin levels(Pd in birds fed either T5 or T6 diet compared to control or BMd supplemented birds,whereas,lower lipid oxidation(Pdiac risk ratio,atherogenic coefficient,atherogenic index of plasma,serum glucose,triglyceride,total cholesterol levels(Pd serum albumin-to-globulin ratio(Pd in the *** pH of meat from birds fed T4,T5 or T6 diet was lower(Pd to control and other *** extract release volume(ERV),water holding capacity(WHC),and protein content of meat were higher(Pds fed either T5 or T6 diet compared to control or BMd supplemented ***,it was concluded that the sup

Markers for Global Climate Change and Its Impact on Social, Biological and Ecological Systems: A Review

Present article sketches out major climate induced changes in marine, aquatic and terrestrial life. Few important biomarkers such as ecological, meteorological, socioeconomic, thermal, biophysical and biological, behavioral markers of climate change and global environmental stress have been highlighted to predict the future challenges and finding appropriate solutions. Though, so many climate change induced effects are visible but few unpredictable effects may be seen in future. Therefore, all such effects have been acknowledged, and tried to find appropriate solutions. Most visible effect is collection of high amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which is responsible for green house effect and causing natural calamities round the globe. It is not only jeopardized the survival of terrestrial, fresh water animals mainly planktons, bottom dwellers;coral reefs, algae, fish fauna in marine environment belong to different taxon but also responsible for disruption of ocean’s food web due to non-assimilation of extra carbon dioxide by the ocean water. There is a sharp decline in fresh water and sea shore micro-flora and micro-fauna. Other major visible effects are loss of biodiversity, depletion of forests, land degradation, severe floods and draughts. On other hand sudden changes in weather conditions causing irreparable devastations due to hurricanes and typhoons, storms, lightening, earthquakes and tsunamis are normally on rise. Both economic and ecological breakdowns are occurring more frequently which are more impactful and persistent. Climate change is major human health stressor;it is making fragmentation of socio-cultural bonds and reducing fertility of soil finally crop production. Climate change is imposing non-adaptive forced human migration, territorial conflicts, decreasing ecosystem productivity, disease out breaks, and impelling unequal resource utilization.
