Pan-TRK positive uterine sarcoma in immunohistochemistry without neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase gene fusions:A case report

BACKGROUND The classification of uterine sarcomas is based on distinctive morphological and immunophenotypic characteristics,increasingly supported by molecular genetic *** on neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase(NTRK)gene fusionpositive uterine sarcoma,potentially aggressive and morphologically similar to fibrosarcoma,are limited due to its recent ***-TRK immunohistochemistry(iHC)analysis serves as an effective screening tool with high sensitivity and specificity for NTRK-fusion *** SUMMARy We report a case of a malignant mesenchymal tumor originating from the uterine cervix,which was pan-TRK iHC-positive but lacked NTRK gene fusions,accompanied by a brief literature review.A 55-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with abdominal pain and distension,exhibiting significant ascites and multiple solid pelvic *** examination revealed a tumor encompassing the uterine cervix,extending to the vagina and uterine corpus.A punch biopsy of the cervix indicated NTRK sarcoma with positive immunochemical pan-TRK ***,subsequent next generation sequencing revealed no NTRK gene fusion,leading to a diagnosis of poorly differentiated,advanced-stage *** The clinical significance of NTRK gene fusion lies in potential treatment with TRK inhibitors for positive *** such rare tumors is crucial due to the potential applicability of tropomyosin receptor kinase inhibitor treatment.

in the present study Ti-Nb binary alloy system was chosen because it has excellent biocompatibility as well as reasonable mechanical properties,aiming at understanding oxygen content on microstructural formation, elastic modulus and tensile properties in Ti-Nb alloy *** alloy buttons of 50 mm in diameter were prepared by arc melting on a water-cooled copper hearth under an argon gas atmosphere with a non-consumable tungsten *** button ingots were then heat treated in a vacuum atmosphere at 1273 K for 0.5 h followed by water quenching in a specially designed heat treatment ***,elastic modulus and tensile properties were investigated in order to understand the effect of oxygen content in quenched Ti- Nb alloy *** orthorhombic structuredα″martensite was changed to bcc structuredβ-phase with increasing Nb ***,it was found that oxygen makesβ-phase stable in quenched Ti-Nb alloy *** modulus values were sensitive to phase stability of constituent *** strength increased with increasing oxygen *** will be explained by phase formation and stability behavior.

BACKGROUND Adolescents with autism spectrum disorder(ASD)may encounter many difficulties with their menstrual *** challenges that adolescents with ASD may face include understanding physical changes,coping with symptoms,emotional sensitivity,communication,personal care,and *** To evaluate the effect of menstrual hygiene skills training given to adolescents with ASD on their menstrual hygiene *** The study was conducted with 15 adolescents diagnosed with ASD by the single group pre-test and post-test model in three special education centers in Tü*** were collected with the Adolescent and Parent information Form and the Adolescent-Specific Menstrual Hygiene Skill Registration *** While the mean age of adolescents was 16.06±0.88 years,the mean age of individuals responsible for adolescent care was 43.66±5.56 *** 60.0%of the adolescents noticed the onset of bleeding before training,this rate was 93.3%after *** Adolescent-Specific Menstrual Hygiene Skill Registration Form showed a statistically significant increase in the application steps after the *** difference between the menstrual hygiene skill scores of adolescents CONCLUSiON The menstrual hygiene skills training given to adolescents with ASD was beneficial in increasing their menstrual hygiene *** individuals must take responsibility during menstruation and independently manage their continuous care activities.

Nanocrystalline Silicon Thin Films Fabricated at 80℃ by Using Electron Cyclotron Resonance Chemical Vapor Deposition

Deposition of nanocrystalline silicon （nc-Si） on glass at very low temperatures by electron cyclotron resonance （ECR） plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition （PECVD） was investigated. it was shown that nc-Si could be deposited from hydrogen diluted silane gas at a substrate temperature of 80℃ with a crystalline fraction up to 80% and a lateral grain size of around 50 nm. This was achieved by growing the nc-Si in a low pressure regime which ensured that mono-silyl species were the dominant deposition precursor. Furthermore, a high flux of energetic hydrogen ions was required to induce crystallisation of the silicon material through a chemical annealing process.

Two new triterpenoid saponins named asterbatanoside H and i have been isolated from the roots of Aster batsngensis and their structures elucidated as 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→3) β-D-glucopyranosyl-bayogenin-28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosy-(1→6) and 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)-β-D-glucopyranosyl-23-O-acetyl-bayogenin-28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6) β-D-glucopyranoside, respectively, by means of spectral and chemical data.

Surface treatments applied to titanium and its alloys for implant applications are important for the development of bio *** this study,first an oxide layer was formed on the surface of the titanium plate by micro arc oxidation,and then both calcium phosphate and calcium phosphate/chitosan accumulation were performed for different samples by the sol-gel ***-SEM/EDS examinations,XRD,FTiR and thermal analysis were performed for these micro arc-oxidized,calcium phosphate-coated and calcium phosphate/chitosan-coated *** surface roughnesses for these surfaces were measured between 10μm and 100μm,suitable for bone development on the *** effect of chitosan addition on the calcium phosphate-coated surface on apatite formation ability and antibacterial properties was *** the addition of chitosan slows down the formation of apatite,it ensured that the coating had antibacterial *** calcium phosphate/chitosan biocomposite obtained can be recommended for dental and orthopedic implants.

Effect of 5-Aza-2’-deoxycytidine on immune-associated proteins in exosomes from hepatoma

AiM: To study the effect of 5-Aza-2’-deoxycytidine (5-Aza-CdR) on heat shock protein 70 (HSP70), human leucocyte antigen-Ⅰ (HLA-Ⅰ) and Ny-ESO-1 proteins in exosomes produced by hepatoma cells, HepG2 and Hep3B. METHODS: Exosomes derived from HepG2 and Hep3B cells treated with or without 5-aza-CdR were isolated and purified by ultrafiltration centrifugation and sucrose gradient ultracentrifugation. The number of exosomes was counted under electron microscope. Concentration of proteins in exosomes was measured by bicinchoninic acid protein assay. Expression of HSP70, HLA-Ⅰ and Ny-ESO-1 proteins in exosomes was detected by Western blotting and immunoelectron microscopy. mRNA expression of p53 gene was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain ***: The mRNA expression of p53 gene was increased in both hepatoma cell lines after treatment with 5-Aza-CdR. The number of exosomes and the concentration of total proteins in exosomes were increased signifi cantly after treatment with 5-aza-CdR (P ith 5-Aza-CdR, immunoelectron microscopy and Western blotting showed that the HSP70, HLA-Ⅰ and Ny-ESO-1 proteins were increased in exosomes produced by both hepatoma cell lines. CONCLUSiON: 5-aza-CdR, an inhibitor of DNA methyltransferase, can increase exosomes produced by hepatoma cells and immune-associated protein component of exosomes, which may be mediated by p53 gene upregulation and 5-Aza-CdR demethylation.

Thermal energy storage(TES)solutions offer opportunities to reduce energy consumption,greenhouse gas emissions,and ***,they can help reduce the peak load and address the intermittency of renewable energy sources by time shifting the load,which are critical toward zero energy *** materials(TCMs)as a class of TES undergo a solid-gas reversible chemical reaction with water vapor to store and release energy with high storage capacities(600 kWh m^(-3))and negligible self-discharge that makes them uniquely suited as compact,stand-alone units for daily or seasonal ***,TCMs suffer from instabilities at the material(salt particles)and reactor level(packed beds of salt),resulting in poor multi-cycle efficiency and high-levelized cost of *** this study,a model is developed to predict the pulverization limit or Rcrit of various salt hydrates during thermal *** is critical as it provides design rules to make mechanically stable TCM composites as well as enables the use of more energy-efficient manufacturing process(solid-state mixing)to make the *** model is experimentally validated on multiple TCM salt hydrates with different water content,and effect of Rcrit on hydration and dehydration kinetics is also investigated.

Shot lining of magnesium alloy with hard powders

A novel green inhibitor for C-steel corrosion in 2.0 mol·L^-1 hydrochloric acid solution

The corrosion inhibition characteristics of aqueous extract of seeds of Melia azedarach L.(MA) have been studied as eco-friendly green inhibitor for corrosion control of C-steel in 2 mol·L^(-1) HCl solution by gravimetric and electrochemical methods. The results depict that, the extract inhibits efficiently the corrosion of carbon steel in hydrochloric acid. The efficiency of extract is increased with increasing the extract concentration but independent on the studied temperature. The adsorption of the extract components onto the steel surface was found to be spontaneous, and follows Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The surface morphology of C-steel, in the absence and presence of MA extract in 2.0 mol·L^(-1) hydrochloric acid solution, was studied using scanning electron microscopy(SEM).
