Background:Hard mineral and acid salt deposits that clump together in concentrated urine are known as kidney stones.A complicated chain of physicochemical events,including hyper saturation,nucleation,growth,aggrega-tion,and retention in the urinary tract,leads to urolithiasis,the third most prevalent urinary tract *** traditional medications and therapies are less successful in treating urolithiasis and frequently cause ***:The present study is focused on evaluating the anti-urolithiasis activities of the polyherbal formulation prepared from Spinacia oleracea *** Coriandrum sativum ***:To evaluating the anti-urolithiasis activities of the polyherbal formulation prepared from *** and *** seeds against oxalate crystals by employing an in vitro inhibition,aggregation,and nucleation assay,employing a spectrophotometer followed by microscopic observation,and further monitored by egg semiperme-able membrane model,using cystone as a standard ***:In the present work,the alkaloids,glycosides,flavonoids,glycosides,phenols,saponins,steroids,tannins,terpenoids,and triterpenoids were found in the extracts of *** and *** in vitro assays in the present study clearly indicated that all the mixture extracts readily prevented crystal nucleation,growth and *** aqueous extract of the mixture inhibited significant inhibitory potential against the crystallization ***:It can be said that the phyto-constituents enriched homemade preparation possibly will be used as a medication for the management of kidney stones by dissolving the oxalate stone in the kidney.

Nowadays in the medicalfield,imaging techniques such as Optical Coherence Tomography(OCT)are mainly used to identify retinal *** this paper,the Central Serous Chorio Retinopathy(CSCR)image is analyzed for various stages and then compares the difference between CSCR before as well as after treatment using different application *** approach,which was focused on image quality,improves medical image *** enhancement algorithm was implemented to improve the OCT image contrast and denoise purpose called Boosted Anisotropic Diffusion with an Unsharp Masking Filter(BADWUMF).The classifier used here is tofigure out whether the OCT image is a CSCR case or not.150 images are checked for this research work(75 abnormal from Optical Coherence Tomography Image Retinal Database,in-house clinical database,and 75 normal images).This article explicitly decides that the approaches suggested aid the ophthalmologist with the precise retinal analysis and hence the risk factors to be *** total precision is 90 percent obtained from the Two Class Support Vector Machine(TCSVM)classifier and 93.3 percent is obtained from Shallow Neural Network with the Powell-Beale(SNNWPB)classifier using the MATLAB 2019a program.

In this paper,dual L defected hexagonal Photonic Crystal Ring Resonator(PCRR)using Channel Drop Filter(CDF)is designed for Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing(CWDM)*** this structure,the external rods of the ring resonator are arranged in a hexagon and the internal rods are removed in L arrangement for introducing *** rods are used to prevent *** using the L defected hexagonal resonator,a multi-channel CDF is designed,which exhibits multiple wavelengths of CWDM(1500 nm–1600 nm)*** addition,the selection of rod size and the position of rods in the proposed multi-channel CDF are validated by varying the radius of coupling and scattering rods,as well as the position of resonators,*** using plane wave expansion and opti Finite Difference Time Domain(FDTD)method,the electromagnetic wave propagation and the photonic band gap are obtained.

Objective:To evaluate the phytochemical constituents and the antioxidant activity of hydroalcoholic extract of Nymphaea nouchali seed locally prescribed as a diet for diabetes ***:The antioxidant and free radical scavenging activity of hydroalcoholic extract of the plant was assessed against 1,1 diphenyl-2-picryl hydrazyl(DPPH),nitric oxide and lipid peroxidation using standard *** phenolics,flavonoids and tannins were also ***:Phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of phenols,flavones,tannins,protein,reducing sugars,glycosides,saponins,alkaloids and *** activities of plant extract against DPPH,nitric oxide and lipid peroxidation was concentration dependent with IG_(50)value of42.82,23.58 and 54.65μg/mL *** total antioxidant capacity was high with 577.73 mg vitamin E/g of the extract and showed a moderately high vitamin C content of 197.22 mg/*** total tannin content of hydroalcoholic seed extract was high(195.84 GE/g),followed by phenolics(179.56 GE/g)and flavonoids(23.55 QE/g).Conclusion:Our findings provide evidence that the crude extract of Nymphaea nouchali is a potential source of natural antioxidants and this justifies its use in folkloric medicine.

Efficacy of Multimodal Intervention for Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)—An Indian Study

Background: To find the efficacy of multimodal intervention on attention deficit and hyperactivity, behavioral problems in home and school situations and on academic achievement of children with ADHD and the impact of family stress and coping on the outcome of multi-modal intervention. Method: A sample (N = 40) of children aged 5 - 10 years registered in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit (CAMHU) with a diagnosis of ADHD (on the ICD-10) with or without comorbidity were randomly allocated to one of two groups: Group I (medical management with parent counseling, N = 20) or Group II (multimodal intervention (routine medical management, parent training and attention enhancement training), N = 20). Assessments (pre-assessment, re-assessment at one month and post assessment after 10 weeks) were carried out by investigator, parent, teacher and blind rater. Results: Significant improvement was noticed for both groups but multimodal intervention was superior to routine medical management and parent counselling in reducing ADHD symptoms, behavioural problems at home and school, and in improving academic performance. Effect size estimates and the rates of clinically significant change also supported this finding. Parental stress did not predict the outcome of intervention. Conclusions: Multimodal intervention was found to be promising in the treatment of ADHD.
