Two-dime.sional(2D)transition me.al dichalcoge.ide.(TMD)are.atomically thin se.iconductors with promising optoe.e.tronic applications across the.visible.***,the.r intrinsically we.k light absorption and the.low photolumine.ce.ce.quantum yie.d(PLQY)re.trict the.r pe.formance.and pote.tial use.e.pe.ially in ultraviole.(UV)wave.e.gth light *** dots(QD)de.ive. from 2D mate.ials(2D/QD)provide.e.ficie.t light absorption and e.ission of which e.e.gy can be.tune. for de.irable.light *** this study,we.gre.tly e.hance. the.photon absorption and PLQY of monolaye.(1L)tungste. disulfide.Ws_(2))in the.UV range.via hybridization with 2D/QD,particularly titanium nitride.MXe.e.QD(Ti_(2)N MQD)and graphitic carbon nitride.QD(GCNQD).With the.hybridization of MQD or GCNQD,1LWs_(2)showe. a maximum PL e.hance.e.t by 15 time. with 300 nm wave.e.gth e.citation,while.no notice.ble.e.hance.e.t was obse.ve. whe. the.e.citation photon e.e.gy was le.s than the.bandgap of the.QD,indicating that UV absorption by the.QD playe. a crucial role.in e.hancing the.light e.ission of 1L-Ws_(2)in our 0D/2D hybrid *** findings pre.e.t a conve.ie.t me.hod for e.hancing the.photo-re.ponse.of 1L-Ws_(2)to UV light and offe. e.citing possibilitie. for harve.ting UV e.e.gy using 1L-TMD.

Be.ause.the.warming is proje.te. to continue. it is e.se.tial to conside. future.change. whe. planning adaptation actions and building re.ilie.ce. In this study, we.synthe.ize.information on future.change. in e.tre.e.e.e.ts in Alaska from an e.se.ble.of re.ional climate.mode. simulations pe.forme. as part of Arctic-CORDe. (Coordinate. Re.ional Climate.Downscaling e.pe.ime.t). A se. of 13 e.tre.e.e.e.t indice., base. on those.de.e.ope. by the.World Climate.Re.e.rch Programme.s e.pe.t Te.m on Climate.Change.De.e.tion and Indice. (e.CCDI), are.e.aluate. from the.Arctic-CORDe. output for Alaska. Of the.13 indice., six pe.tain to te.pe.ature. five.to total pre.ipitation, one.to wind and one.to snow. The.re.ults for locations in se.e. diffe.e.t climate.zone. of Alaska include.large.incre.se. (5˚C - 10˚C) in the.te.pe.ature.thre.holds for the.five.hotte.t and colde.t days of the.ye.r, and large.incre.se. in warm spe.l duration and de.re.se. in cold spe.l duration. Change. in the.cold day te.pe.ature.thre.hold are.ge.e.ally large. than the.change. in the.hot day te.pe.ature.thre.hold, consiste.t with the.proje.tions of a stronge. warming in winte. than in summe. in Alaska ye.rly maximum 1-day and 5-day pre.ipitation amounts as we.l as the.ye.rly numbe. of conse.utive.we. days are.proje.te. to incre.se.at all locations. The.indice. for he.vy snow days and high-wind days show mixe. change., although the.re.ults indicate.incre.se. in he.vy snow days at the.more.northe.n locations and incre.se. in windy days at coastal locations. The.change. in the.e.tre.e.e.e.t indice. continue.through 2100 unde. the.highe.-e.ission (RCP 8.5) e.ission sce.ario, while.the.change. ge.e.ally stabilize.unde. the.lowe.-e.ission (RCP 4.5) sce.ario. .
