Age and gender are the important factors for brain metabolic declines in both normal aging and neurodegeneration,and the confounding effects may influence early and differential diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases based on the[^(18)F]fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography([^(18)F]FDG PET).We aimed to explore the potential of the adjustment of age-and gender-related confounding factors on[^(18)F]FDG PET images in differentiation of Parkinson’s disease(PD),multiple system atrophy(MSA)and progressive supra-nuclear palsy(PSP).Eight hundred and seventy-seven clinically definitely diagnosed Parkinsonian patients from a benchmark Huashan Parkinsonian PET imaging database were included.An age-and gender-adjusted Z(AGAZ)score was established based on the gender-specific longitudinal metabolic changes on healthy subjects.AGAZ scores and standardized uptake value ratio(SUVR)values were quantified at regional-level and support vector machine-based error-correcting output codes method was applied for classification.Additional references of the classifications based on metabolic pattern scores were included.The feature-based AGAZ score showed the best performance in classification(accuracy for PD,MSA,PSP:93.1%,96.3%,94.8%).In both genders,the AGAZ score con-sistently achieved the best efficiency,and the improvements compared to the conventional SUVR value for PD,MSA,and PSP mainly laid in specificity(Male:5.7%;Female:11.1%),sensitivity(Male:7.2%;Female:7.3%),and sensitivity(Male:7.3%;Female:17.2%).Female patients benefited more from the adjustment on[^(18)F]FDG PET in MSA and PSP groups(absolute net reclassification index,p<0.001).Collectively,the adjustment of age-and gender-related confounding factors may improve the differential diagnosis of Parkinsonism.Particularly,the diagnosis of female Parkinsonian population has the best improvement from this correction.

Ionic selectivity is of significant importance in both fundamental science and practical applications.For instance,an ion-selective material allows the passage of a particular kind of ions while blocking the others,which could be used for purification of materials.Herein,the Li-ion-selectivity of a garnet-type solid electrolyte is discussed by comparing the difference of activation energy between different ions migrating in solids.The high ion-selectivity is confirmed by harvesting high-purity metallic lithium(99.98 wt%)from low-lithium-purity sources(80 wt%)at a moderate temperature(190℃).This gives it huge potential in separating lithium with impurities especially alkali and alkali-earth elements.The cost of metallic lithium production is only 25%of the international lithium price.The proposed electrochemical metallic lithium separating method is advantageous compared with the traditional process in terms of efficiency,safety,and cost.

Objective Idiopathic rapid eye movement（REM） sleep behavior disorder（iRBD） is a prodromal stage of synucleinopathies such as Parkinson’s disease（PD）. Positron emission tomography（PET） with 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose（18 F-FDG） can reflect brain glucose metabolism. Our previous work revealed cerebral metabolic disturbances in PD and iRBD using both voxel-based inter-group comparison and spatial covariance analysis. The latter method identified specific RBD-related covariance pattern（RBDRP） and a PD-related covariance pattern（PDRP） in Chinese cohorts, which shared some similarities. However, the resultant pattern scores do not capture the spatially heterogeneous trajectories of metabolic changes between individual brain regions. Assuming metabolic progression occurs as a continuum from the healthy control（HC） condition to iRBD and then PD, we investigated spatial dynamics of progressively perturbed glucose metabolism in a cross-sectional study. Methods 19 iRBD patients, 38 PD patients and 19 HC subjects underwent 18 F-FDG PET. The brain images were spatially normalized, scaled to the global mean uptake, and automatically parcellated into 119 anatomical regions of interest（ROIs） using an updated version of the automated anatomical labeling（AAL） atlas（provided by PMOD）. We contrasted regional metabolism by group, and allocated the inferred progression to one of several possible trajectories. We then explored relationships between inferred progression of metabolic changes and the Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale motor（UPDRS III） scores. Results PD patients exhibited more extensive relative hyper-and hypo-metabolism than iRBD patients. In 62 of 119 brain regions, there was no difference in relative FDG uptake between the three groups. 采用大涡模拟研究了旋片式、轴/切向、纯切向三种旋流结构对部分预混火焰流动、掺混及燃烧特性的影响规律。旋流数较小的旋片式入口旋流火焰回流区(IRZ)较小,掺混效果较差,而旋流数较大的纯切向旋流火焰的回流区较大,掺混效果好,反应区和高温区的分布与回流区特征及掺混效果密切相关。旋片式入口燃烧器中能形成稳定的旋进涡核(Precessing vortex core,PVC),轴/切向和纯切向旋流火焰中PVC无法稳定存在是导致流动掺混及燃烧特性差异的主要因素。

卫星在星地网络中计算能力和数量的快速提高,使天地协同任务卸载成为可能。天地协同卸载需要一个有效的任务调度算法,将任务分配到适合的服务器以提升任务卸载性能。然而,卫星高动态性带来的网络拓扑变化,以及终端任务子任务间的并行性导致服务器资源挤兑与依赖性引起的调度顺序要求,对任务协同卸载提出了新的挑战。修剪路径(PruningPath)算法实现了星地设备间任务的联合计算,并在满足子任务间依赖关系的前提下,将最小任务能耗问题转化为最短路径问题。实验结果表明,PruningPath在降低任务响应延迟方面具有显著优势,可降低卸载时延达31.9%。

Background: LPS can induce the acute system infection and accompanied with sepsis which may precipitate multiple organ failure, such as the three major organs including liver, lung and kidney, and there is still no efficient therapeutic method for the disease.Objective: Our previous studies show that under physiological conditions, the expression of TLR4 increased obviously in B cells of CD38mice, so we aimed to explore the role of CD38 in LPS stimulated inflammatory response of the three main organs.Methods: C57BL/6 mice and CD38mice were used to construct septic models with LPS(20 mg/kg) that injected intraperitoneally, and mice injected with saline were used as negative control.Liver, lung and kidney were harvest for the subsequent experiment.We detected the expression level of TLR4 in 3 different organs by realtime PCR and pathological changes of the organs were detected by HE staining.mRNA expression levels of proinflammatory cytokines(including TLR4, TNF-ɑ, IL-1β, IL-6 and IFN-γ) was quantified and analyzed by qRT-PCR.Results: The expression of TLR4 is increased specifically in kidney of CD38mice with no change in liver and lung.The infiltration of inflammatory cells in kidney is obviously more in CD38mice than in WT mice.The mRNA expression level of proinflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-ɑ, IL-1β, IL-6 and IFN-γ were increased significantly in kidney of CD38mice.There’s no difference in infiltration of inflammatory cells or expression of proinflammatory cytokinesin in either lung or liver between WT and CD38mice.Conclusions: The inflammatory response is increased specifically in kidney of LPS stimulated CD38mice maybe because the specifically increased expression of TLR4 in kidney.
