spin glass theory,as a paradigm for describing disordered magnetic systems,constitutes a prominent subject of study within statistical *** symmetry breaking(RsB),as one of the pivotal concepts for the understanding of spin glass theory,means that under identical conditions,disordered systems can yield distinct states with nontrivial *** fiber laser(RFL)based on Rayleigh scattering(Rs)is a complex disordered system,owing to the disorder and stochasticity of *** this work,for the first time,a precise theoretical model is elaborated for studying the photonic phase transition via the platform of Rs-based RFL,in which we clearly reveal that,apart from the pump power,the photon phase variation in RFL is also an analogy to the temperature term in spin-glass phase transition,leading to a novel insight into the intrinsic mechanisms of photonic phase *** addition,based on this model and real-time high-fidelity detection spectral evolution,we theoretically predict and experimentally observe the mode-asymmetric characteristics of photonic phase transition in Rs-based *** finding contributes to a deeper understanding of the photonic RsB regime and the dynamics of Rs-based RFL.

The present study aimed to evaluate multi-element concentrations(Al,As,Ca,Cd,Co,Cr,Cu,Fe,Mg,Mn,Mo,Ni,pb,sr)in suspended particulate material(spM)collected from Ensenada de La paz(ELp)lagoon,Baja California sur,Mexico in two different periods(september and May)to comprehend their origin,geochemical behavior,mass transfer and associated ecotoxicological *** 24 hr variation coefficient of volumetric spM levels were found to be 51.7%in september and 40.5%in May,signifying the effects of oceanic *** calculated enrichment factor(EF)values for all the studied elements were of higher magnitude because of the high surface area and oxide nature of spM,and in this study,Mo had the highest EF of 46.77 probably due to its origin from continental *** the ecotoxicological perspective,the integrated toxic risk index revealed low toxic risk to the benthic ***,the mean-ERM-Quotient calculated using the particulate concentrations of As,Cd,Cr,Cu,Ni,pb indicated 9%probability of toxicity to *** comprehensive geochemical and ecotoxicological assessment of particulate metal concentrations in the ELp lagoon signify low to moderate contamination.

Deep phenotyping and genetic characterization of individuals are fundamental to assessing the metabolic status and determining nutrition-specific requirements. This study aimed to ascertain the utmost effectiveness of personalized interventions by aligning dietary adjustments with both the genotype and metabolotype of individuals. Therefore， we assessed here the usefulness of a polygenic score (pGs) characterizing a potential pro-inflammatory profile (pGsi) as a nutrigenetic tool to discern individuals from the Danish pREVENTOMICs cohort that could better respond to precision nutrition (pN) plans， specifically targeted at counteracting the low-grade inflammatory profile typically found in obesity. The cohort followed a pN plan to counteract the pro-inflammatory profile (pNi group) or generic dietary recommendations (Control) for 10 weeks. pGsi was applied for genetic stratification (Low/High). The effects of the intervention on anthropometrics and biomarkers related to inflammatory profile and carbohydrate metabolism were assessed. Around 30% of subjects had a high genetic predisposition to pro-inflammatory status (high-pGsi). These individuals demonstrated the most effective response to the dietary plan， experiencing improved body composition， with significant decreases in body weight (△: -4.84%; p=0.039) and body fat (△: -4.86%; p=0.007)， and beneficial changes in pro- and anti-inflammatory biomarkers， with significant increases in IL-10 (△: 71.3%; p=0.025) and decreases in TNF-α (△: -3.0%; p=0.048)， CRp (△: -31.1%)， ICAM1 (△: -5.8%)， and MCp1 (△: -4.2%) circulating levels， compared to low-pGsi individuals. Both phenotypic and genetic stratification contributed to a better understanding of metabolic heterogeneity in response to diet. This approach allows for refinement of the prediction of individual requirements and potentially for better management of obesity.

The induction motor,which converts electrical energy into mechanical energy,has been recognized as the cornerstone of *** rotor of an induction motor can be either a squirrel cage rotor or a wound-type rotor,both existing as magnetless ***-phase squirrel cage induction motors are frequently utilized in industrial drives because they are dependable,have high starting torque,are selfstarting and ***-phase induction motors,on the other hand,are commonly used for small loads such as domestic appliances in form of modest fans,pumps and electric power *** south Africa,there have been reports of fires and explosions resulting in live and property loss because of induction motors that have not been thoroughly tested or are incorrectly labelled in terms of ratings,electrical safety and *** goal of this study is targeted at preventing end-user injuries and failures caused by non-compliant induction motors,by evaluating locally manufactured/imported induction motors based on tests and evaluation from standards(IEC and sANs).The study is conducted using experimental procedures at the Explosion prevention Technology and Rotating Machines(EpT and RM)laboratory,south African Bureau of standards(sABs),south *** main finding from the study shows differences in the nameplate characteristics of various induction motors which could have detrimental effects such as production and operational downtime in their end-use industries,at later stages.

Coral-like structures of the Y_(3-x)pr_(x)Fe_(5-y)Yb_(y)O_(12),(0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.04, 0.00 ≤ y ≤ 0.02) compound were synthesized using the sol-gel method. structural investigation certified the YIG cubic crystal structure formation, without any secondary phase. It is shown that, the relatively large ionic radius of the dopant cations results in an expansion of the lattice parameter, variations in the Iona-O-Iondangle, Iona-O,Iond-O and Ionc-O bond distances and decrease in the average crystallite size. Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) and Raman measurements are essential to testify the single-phase formation of YIG crystal structure and are observed changes in the stretching and vibrational modes, respectively. The morphological study, energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDs) spectra and textural properties show corallike structures, peaks associated with pr^(3+) and Yb^(3+) atoms and the effect of dopants on surface area,diameter, and pore volume, respectively. The optical analysis from diffuse reflectance spectra witnessed an increase in the optical gap band, a decrease in Urbach energy and blue shift in the charge transfer,correlated with the expansion of the unit cell due to the dopant's insertion in the YIG structure. A typical ferrimagnetic behavior is exhibited by the Y_(3-x)pr_(x)Fe_(5-y)Yb_(y)O_(12)compound. The saturation magnetization(M_(s)), cubic anisotropy constant(K_(1)) and coercive field(H_(c)) increase with the pr^(3+)cations content, as consequence of their magnetic nature and distribution around of Fe^(3+)ions due to the coexistence with the Yb^(3+). Finally, for the first time, antibacterial tests by mean of the direct contact method were performed for YIG co-doped with pr^(3+)and Yb^(3+)and it is shown that, relatively high dosages of pr^(3+) cations favored the activity against s. aureus, therefore, a new biological property for YIG doped with rare earths is presented.
