A cross-sectional study to assess medication safety,knowledge,attitude,and practices regarding nutrition and medication among pregnant women

Objective:To assess pregnant women's knowledge,attitude,and practice regarding nutrition and medication usage,analyse the prescribing pattern,and categorize them based on the Food and Drug Administration(FDA)***:A cross-sectional study was conducted with 264 pregnant women in the obstetrics and gynaecology department of a tertiary care hospital from October 2022 to August 2023.A knowledge,attitude,and practice(KAP)questionnaire was prepared in English language by the researchers and validated by an expert panel consisting of 12 *** validated questionnaire was then translated into regional languages,Kannada and *** reliability of the questionnaire was assessed with test-retest method with a representative sample population of 30 subjects(10 subjects for each language).The subjects'knowledge,attitude,and practice were evaluated using the validated KAP *** safety of the medication was assessed using the FDA drug safety classification for ***:The mean scores for nutritional and medication usage knowledge,attitude,and practice were 4.14±1.15,4.50±1.09,and 3.00±1.47,*** 30 prescribed medications,3 belong to category A(no risk in human studies),8 belong to category B(no risk in animal studies),18 belong to category C(risk cannot be ruled out)and 1 drug is not classified.A significant association was observed between medication knowledge and practice(r=0.159,P=0.010).Conclusions:Most of the study population knows the need to maintain good dietary and medication practices during *** pregnant women regarding diet and medication usage is crucial in maternal care.

The increase in number of people using the Internet leads to increased cyberattack *** Persistent Threats,or APTs,are among the most dangerous targeted *** attacks utilize various advanced tools and techniques for attacking targets with specific *** countries with advanced technologies,like the US,Russia,the UK,and India,are susceptible to this targeted *** is a sophisticated attack that involves multiple stages and specific ***,TTP(Tools,Techniques,and Procedures)involved in the APT attack are commonly new and developed by an attacker to evade the security ***,APTs are generally implemented in multiple *** one of the stages is detected,we may apply a defense mechanism for subsequent stages,leading to the entire APT attack *** detection at the early stage of APT and the prediction of the next step in the APT kill chain are ongoing *** survey paper will provide knowledge about APT attacks and their essential *** follows the case study of known APT attacks,which will give clear information about the APT attack process—in later sections,highlighting the various detection methods defined by different researchers along with the limitations of the *** used in this article comes from the various annual reports published by security experts and blogs and information released by the enterprise networks targeted by the attack.

In this study,three new germacranolide sesquiterpenes(1–3),together with six related known analogues(4–9)were isolated from the whole plant of Carpesium *** structures were established by a combination of extensive NMR spectroscopic analysis,HR-ESIMS data,and ECD *** anti-leukemia activities of all compounds towards three cell lines(HEL,KG-1a,and K562)were evaluated in *** 1–3 exhibited moderate cytotoxicity with IC50 values ranging from 1.59 to 5.47μmol·L^(−1).Mechanistic studies indicated that 2 induced apoptosis by decreasing anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 and activating the caspase family in K562 *** results suggest that compound 2 is a potential anti-leukemia agent.
