An efficient room-temperature self-powered,broadband(300 nm–1100 nm)photodetector based on a CuO–TiO_(2)/TiO_(2)/p-Si(100)heterostructure is *** CuO–TiO_(2)nanocomposites were grown in a two-zone horizontal tube furnace on a 40 nm TiO_(2)thin film deposited on a p-type Si(100)*** CuO–TiO_(2)/TiO_(2)/p-Si(100)devices exhibited excellent rectification characteristics under dark and individual photoillumination *** devices showed remarkable photo-response under broadband(300–1100 nm)light illumination at zero bias voltage,indicating the achievement of highly sensitive self-powered photodetectors at visible and near-infrared light *** maximum response of the devices is observed at 300 nm for an illumination power of 10 *** response and recovery times were calculated as 86 ms and 78 ms,***,under a small bias,the devices showed a prompt binary response by altering the current from positive to negative under illumination *** main reason behind this binary response is the low turn-on voltage and photovoltaic characteristics of the *** illumination conditions,the generation of photocurrent is due to the separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs within the built-in electric field at the CuO–TiO_(2)/TiO_(2)*** characteristics make the CuO–TiO_(2)/TiO_(2)broadband photodetectors suitable for applications that require high response speeds and self-sufficient functionality.

Background: Renal calculi, commonly known as kidney stones, is a prevalent urological condition that affects a substantial portion of the population worldwide. The formation of kidney stones is a complex process influenced by various factors, including diet, fluid intake, genetics, and metabolic abnormalities. Municipal solid waste management is a major environmental issue in India. Due to rapid increase in urbanization, industrialization and population, the generation rate of municipal solid waste in Indian cities and towns is also increased. Mismanagement of municipal solid waste can cause adverse environmental impacts, public health risk and other socio-economic problem. This paper presents an overview of current status of solid waste management in India which can help the competent authorities responsible for municipal solid waste management and researchers to prepare more efficient plans.

Automated Time Based Multi-Criteria Bug Triage Approach:Developer Working Efficiency and Social Network Based Developer Recommendation

In software development projects,bugs are common *** report bugs in open source *** is a need to develop high quality developer prediction model that considers developer work satisfaction,keep within limited development cost,and improve bug resolution *** address and resolve bug report as soon as possible is the main focus of triager when a new bug is ***,developer work efficiency is an important factor in *** address these issues,a proposed approach recommends a set of developers that could potentially share their knowledge with each other to fix new bug *** proposed approach is called developer working efficiency and social network based developer recommendation(DweSn).It is a composite model that builds developers'profile by using developer average bug fixing time,work efficiency to fix variety of bugs,as well as the developer's social interactions with other developers.A similarity measure is applied between new bug and bugs in corpus to extract the list of capable developers from the *** proposed approach only selects those developers who are active and less loaded with *** developer with the highest profile score is assigned the *** evaluated our approach on the subset of five large open-source projects including Mozilla,Netbeans,Eclipse,Firefox and OpenOffice,and compared it with the *** results demonstrate that combination of developers'efficiency with their average bug fixing time and interactions in their social network gives good accuracy and efficiently reduces bug tossing *** approach shows an improvement in prediction accuracy,precision,recall,F-score and reduced bug tossing length up to 93.89%,93.12%,93.46%,93.27%and 93.25%,*** proposed approach achieved a 93%hit ratio and 93.34%mean reciprocal rank,indicating that our proposed triager is able to efficiently assign bugs to correct developers.

Influence of material models on theoretical forming limit diagram prediction for Ti-6Al-4V alloy under warm condition

Forming limit diagram (FLD) is an important performance index to describe the maximum limit of principal strains that can be sustained by sheet metals till to the onset of localized necking. It offers a convenient and useful tool to predict the forming limit in the sheet metal forming processes. In the present study, FLD has been determined experimentally for Ti?6Al?4V alloy at 400 °C by conducting a Nakazima test with specimens of different widths. Additionally, for theoretical FLD prediction, various anisotropic yield criteria (Barlat 1989, Barlat 1996, Hill 1993) and different hardening models viz., Hollomon power law (HPL), Johnson?Cook (JC), modified Zerilli–Armstrong (m-ZA), modified Arrhenius (m-Arr) models have been developed. Theoretical FLDs have been determined using Marciniak and Kuczynski (M?K) theory incorporating the developed yield criteria and constitutive models. It has been observed that the effect of yield model is more pronounced than the effect of constitutive model for theoretical FLDs prediction. However, the value of thickness imperfection factor (f0) is solely dependent on hardening model. Hill (1993) yield criterion is best suited for FLD prediction in the right hand side region. Moreover, Barlat (1989) yield criterion is best suited for FLD prediction in left hand side region. Therefore, the proposed hybrid FLD in combination with Barlat (1989) and Hill (1993) yield models with m-Arr hardening model is in the best agreement with experimental FLD.

Use of a Bioaugmented Organic Soil Amendment in Combination with Gypsum for Withania somnifera Growth on Sodic Soil

Limited availability of organic matter is a problem to sustain crop growth on sodic soil. Organic soil amendments are a costeffective source of nutrients to enhance crop growth. A field study was conducted to evaluate the effect of an organic soil amendment bioaugmented with plant growth-promoting fungi(SF_(OA) ) in combination with gypsum on soil properties and growth and yield attributes of Withania somnifera, one of the most valuable crops of the traditional medicinal system in the world, on a sodic soil at the Aurawan Research Farm of CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, India. The SF_(OA) used was prepared by pre-enriching farm waste vermicompost with plant growth-promoting fungi before mixing with pressmud and Azadirachta indica seed cake. The application of SF_(OA) at 10 Mg ha^(-1)after gypsum(25.0 Mg ha^(-1)) treatment significantly(P < 0.05) increased root length(by 96%) and biomass(by 125%) of Withania plants compared to the control without SF_(OA) and gypsum. Similarly, the highest withanolide contents were observed in leaves and roots of Withania plants under 10 Mg ha^(-1)SF_(OA) and gypsum. Combined application of SF_(OA) and gypsum also improved physical, chemical and enzymatic properties of the soil, with the soil bulk density decreasing by 25%, water-holding capacity increasing by 121%, total organic C increasing by 90%, p H decreasing by 17% and alkaline phosphatase, β-glucosidase, dehydrogenase and cellulase activities increasing by 54%, 128%, 81% and 96%, respectively, compared to those of the control. These showed that application of the SF_(OA) tested in this study might reclaim sodic soil and further support Withania cultivation and results were better when the SF_(OA) was applied after gypsum treatment.
