tRNA^(Glu)-derived fragments from embryonic extracellular vesicles modulate bovine embryo hatching

Transfer RNA-derived small RNAs(tsRNAs)have been shown to be involved in early embryo development and repression of endogenous retroelements in embryos and stem ***,it is unknown whether tsRNAs also regulate embryo *** this study,we mined the sequencing data of a previous experiment in which we demonstrated that the microRNA(miRNA)cargo of preimplantation embryonic extracellular vesicles(EVs)influences embryo *** thus profiled the tsRNA cargo of EVs secreted by blastocysts and *** majority of tsRNAs was identified as tRNA halves originating from the 5'ends of *** the 148 differentially expressed tsRNAs,the 19 nt tRNA fragment(tRF)tDR-14:32-Glu-CTC-1 was found to be significantly up-regulated in EVs derived from ***-qPCR assays confirmed its significant up-regulation in non-blastocyst embryos and their conditioned medium compared to the blastocyst group(P<0.05).Inhibition of tDR-14:32-Glu-CTC-1 by supplementing antagomirs to the conditioned medium improved embryo hatching(P<0.05).Transcriptomic analysis of embryos treated with tDR-14:32-Glu-CTC-1 antagomirs further showed differential expression of genes that are associated with embryo hatching and *** summary,tDR-14:32-Glu-CTC-1 is up-regulated in non-blastocyst embryos and their secretions,and inhibition of tDR-14:32-Glu-CTC-1 promotes embryo hatching,while influencing embryo implantation-related genes and *** results indicate that embryonic EVs containing specific tRFs may regulate preimplantation embryo development.

Advancements in three-dimensional titanium alloy mesh scaffolds fabricated by electron beam melting for biomedical devices: mechanical and biological aspects

We elucidate here the process-structure-property relationships in three-dimensional（3 D） implantable titanium alloy biomaterials processed by electron beam melting（EBM） that is based on the principle of additive manufacturing. The conventional methods for processing of biomedical devices including freeze casting and sintering are limited because of the difficulties in adaptation at the host site and difference in the micro/macrostructure, mechanical, and physical properties with the host tissue. In this regard, EBM has a unique advantage of processing patient-specific complex designs, which can be either obtained from the computed tomography（CT） scan of the defect site or through a computeraided design（CAD） program. This review introduces and summarizes the evolution and underlying reasons that have motivated 3 D printing of scaffolds for tissue *** overview comprises of two parts for obtaining ultimate functionalities. The first part focuses on obtaining the ultimate functionalities in terms of mechanical properties of 3 D titanium alloy scaffolds fabricated by EBM with different characteristics based on design, unit cell, processing parameters, scan speed, porosity, and heat treatment. The second part focuses on the advancement of enhancing biological responses of these 3 D scaffolds and the influence of surface modification on cell-material interactions. The overview concludes with a discussion on the clinical trials of these 3 D porous scaffolds illustrating their potential in meeting the current needs of the biomedical industry.

Preparation of NiFe_2O_4 nanopowder via EDTA precursor and study of its properties

An ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid （EDTA） precursor-based chemical method is reported for prepar- ing single-phase nickel ferrite （NiFe204） nanopowder. The synthesized powder was characterized by thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, particle size analysis and scanning electron microscopy. DC electrical resistivity and magnetic property of the synthesized NiFe204 were measured by using a two-probe method and a vibrating sample magnetometer respectively. The DC resistivity behaviour of the NiFe204 nanopowder was correlated with the change of microstructure, during sintering. This EDTA precursor-based method is capable of producing nanos- tructured single-phase NiFe204 powder at a comparatively low calcination temperature and offers the potential of a simple and cost-effective route, including the preparation of other ferrite nanoparticles.

Secure File Multi Transfer Protocol Design

As the internet grows in popularity and therefore also in size more and more transmission takes place mainly because the technology is more readily available and applications have become more user friendly allowing entry to less sophisticated user over a broad spectrum. Most data transfer are mainly text based not secure and vulnerable to various forms of security risks. So the model that uses SSH for securing channel like intranet/internet which provides client authentication encryption and decryption with high degree of security by transferring the data in an encrypted format, up on this model enhances the efficiency of data transmission by encrypting or decrypting the data with AES in Counter Mode. AES is a symmetric key encryption standard. Moreover the permutation controlled by data can be performed at high speed in generic cpu. This scheme also expands the key space without costing more to run. And also finally through the combination of secure shell (ssh) and AES (Counter Mode) not only enhances the security of communication channel. It also provides various applications like remote user creation, remote user deletion, remote command execution, remote system shutdown, remote file transfer applications in a highly secure manner.

Fourth order differential equations are considered to develop the class of methods for the numerical solution of boundary value problems. In this paper, we have discussed the regions of absolute stability of fourth order boundary value problems. Methods proposed and derived in this paper are applied to solve a fourth-order boundary value problem. Numerical results are given to illustrate the efficiency of our methods and compared with exact solution.
