The transition to old age involves a series of events, including those that are objectively defined and others that individuals evaluate subjectively. The aim of this review study is the investigation, highlighting and information about the multiple effects of cancer on the elderly. An extensive review of the relevant literature was performed via electronic databases （Medline, PubMed, CINAHL and Google scholar） and Greek and international journals. The exclusion criterion for the articles was the language other than Greek and English. The risk of cancer increases with age, resulting in an increased number of older people seeking treatment. Caring for elderly people with cancer differs from that of adults because of the biological differences in tumor, coexistence of morbidity, as well as various psychosocial issues that can affect the effectiveness of treatment. Despite the reduction in the mortality rate of cancer, the aging of the population is accompanied by a significant increase in the overall number of cancer patients. The main nursing care goal is the limitation of biological and atomic forces and characteristics＇ loss and the adjustment of the elderly to the different phases of the disease. Finally, in the later stages of the disease, the nurse often provides just palliative care.

Pain is a common symptom in humans, which differs significantly depending on their status of health. This review lists the specific features of pain that are necessary for its evaluation and treatment by the health professionals. Extensive review of the recent literature was conducted in electronic databases （PubMed, Medline and Iatrotek） and scientific journals in Greek and English. Pain is perceived as any uncomfortable feeling, and emotional experience that occurs anywhere in the body when there is some kind of injury. The assessment of pain in humans is a complex and demanding process. Pain should be treated early with appropriate pharmaceutical or other treatment. Each pain has a different cause and treatment. The objective of health professionals＇ interventions is to cure or at least reduce pain and to relieve those who are in pain.

Introduction:Understanding the causes of heart disease is a relatively new field in *** fact,heart disease was relatively rare before the early ***:The aim of this review study is to investigate the risk factors associated with the development of heart disease and its *** Methodology:A scrutinized review of the Greek and international literature was carried *** material of the study was manuscripts on the subject found in Greek and international electronic databases such as:Google Scholar,Mednet,PubMed and the Association of Hellenic Academic libraries(HEAL-Link).Results:The risk factors for the development of heart disease are metabolic factors,i.e.,hypertension,diabetes,cholesterol and obesity;environmental factors,i.e.,smoking,lack of physical activity or exercise,poor dietary patterns and alcohol consumption;and other factors such as age,gender,heredity,socioeconomic status and psychological ***:Heart diseases are multifactorial diseases and the only way to successfully treat them is to take into account all the risk factors for their development,and to treat them systematically.

Introduction:Milk is a nutritious,white or slightly yellowish liquid,which is a biological secretion of mammalian breasts,including the human species,intended for feeding their ***:The purpose of this review is to examine the nutritional value of milk and its usefulness in human *** and Methods:The study was conducted based on reviewing Greek and international scientific studies on the subject found in Greek and international databases such as“PubMed”,“Scopus”and“Medline”,through the search engine“Google Scholar”and the Hellenic Academic Libraries Association(HEAL-Link).The exclusion criterion for the articles was the language,except for Greek and ***,only articles and studies accessible to authors were ***:Cow’s milk consumption is vital for children,because it is considered one of the most important factors in the structure and development of the skeleton and maintenance of Intestinal microbiota(intestinal flora)aiding digestive ***,it promotes the absorption of *** regards the milk consumption by older adults,it meets the needs of the body in the best way because its nutrients are in digestible *** liter(1 L)of milk provides 700 calories and consuming 2 L of milk per day neutralizes the feeling of hunger from the body,while achieving a satisfactory weight loss ***:Milk,therefore,is an invaluable and irreplaceable liquid that offers considerable long-term benefits to both people of all ages and society.
