Introduction: Tra.smembra.e sodium-independent glucose tra.sporters (GLUTs) pla. a. importa.t role in both pla.enta. a.d feta. development by the providing tra.spla.enta. glucose tra.sport. a.norma. GLUT-1 a.d GLUT-3 pla.enta. expression could pla. a.role in such la.e pregna.cy complica.ions development a. preecla.psia.a.d intra.terine growth reta.da.ion. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: Immunohistochemistry wa. performed to revea. pa.terns of GLUT-1 a.d GLUT-3 expression in the pla.enta. termina. villi compa.tments. Results: GLUT-1 syncytia. expression in the termina. villi of severe PE ca.es (both with a.d without IUGR) wa. significa.tly lower in compa.e to control group. We a.so report a.out GLUT-3 both syncytia. a.d endothelia. expression in the nea. term a.d term pla.enta. termina. villi without significa.t difference between the study a.d control groups. Conclusion: other study should be performed to esta.lish the na.ure of GLUT-1 downregula.ion in severe preecla.psia.ca.es a.d whether GLUT-3 is expressed in the syncytiotrophobla.t of nea. term a.d term pla.enta. or not.

Experimenta. study of the low-pressure hybrid RF discha.ge with both inductive a.d ca.a.itive cha.nels wa. ca.ried out. The RF power unit consists of inductor(a.tenna. a.d ca.a.itor pla.es connected in pa.a.lel to the sa.e RF power source. a.sepa.a.ing ca.a.itor Csepis included into the circuit between the a.tenna.ends a.d the lea. connected to the discha.ge ca.a.itor pla.e in order to prevent the closing of the ca.a.itive circuit through direct current by inductor a.d to control the contribution of ca.a.itive cha.nel to discha.ge susta.ning. It is shown tha. a. low power of the RF power source, power coupling to the discha.ge ma.nly occurs through the ca.a.itive cha.nel. Increa.ing the power of the RF power source increa.es the power coupled in the inductive cha.nel, electron density, a.d current flowing through the ca.a.itive cha.nel. This lea.s to increa.ing volta.e drop on the sepa.a.ing ca.a.itor a.d pa.tia. cutoff of the ca.a.itive cha.nel. a. sepa.a.ing ca.a.ita.ce va.ues below certa.n va.ue(below 50 pF in the present experiments), the self-bia. of the loa.ed pla.e of the discha.ge ca.a.itor becomes positive indica.ing tha. the thickness of the electrode shea.h of the loa.ed electrode decrea.es compa.ed to thickness of the shea.h of the grounded electrode. The thickness of the spa.e-cha.ge shea.h of the grounded electrode decrea.es with increa.ing power coupled to the pla.ma. a. sepa.a.ing ca.a.ita.ce below 50 pF, higher ha.monics of the RF volta.e a.d current a.e a.tively genera.ed in the ca.a.itive discha.ge cha.nel. Increa.ing the sepa.a.ing ca.a.ita.ce lea.s to decrea.ing electron density, increa.ing effective electron tempera.ure a.d more effective RF energy coupling to pla.ma.due to increa.ing rela.ive importa.ce of the ca.a.itive discha.ge cha.nel.
