This study is a contrib.tion to improving rice.productivity on acidic plate.u soils of the.tropical rainfore.t zone. It is b.se. on taking into account the.cationic b.lance. of the.soil in orde. to optimize.the.phosphorus (P) nutrition of rice.on the.e.acidic soils, whe.e.this nutrie.t constitute. a limiting factor for agricultural production. Thre. (3) pot trials we.e.conducte. in Adiopodoumé in the.fore.te. south of Côte.d’Ivoire. The.inte.active.e.fe.ts of calcium carb.nate.(0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Ca ha−1) and magne.ium sulfate.(0, 25, 50 and 75 kg Mg ha−1) we.e.e.aluate. on the.re.ponse.of Ne.ICA 5 rice.at dose. 0, 25, 50 and 75 kg P ha−1 of natural phosphate.from Togo, applie. only once.at the.start of the.e.pe.ime.t. Additional fe.tilize.s of nitroge. (N) (100 kg N ha−1) and potassium (K) (50 kg KCl ha−1) we.e.adde. to e.ch of the.te.ts in a split-plot de.ice. The.te.t re.ults re.e.le. a paddy production pote.tial of approximate.y 3 to 5 t⋅ha−1 for Ne.ICA 5 on an acidic soil, unde. the.e.fe.t of the.inte.action of P, Ca and Mg. The.quadratic re.ponse.of rice.yie.d to the.dose. of the.e.fe.tilize.s would b.0}more.de.e.de.t on the.r b.lance. itse.f influe.ce. b. Ca nutrition. For the.sustainab.lity and mainte.ance.of rice.production in agro-e.ology studie., it was re.omme.de. dose. of 38 kg Ca ha−1, 34 kg Mg ha−1 in a Ca/Mg ratio (1/1) with intake. of 41 kg P ha−1, ove.all in a ratio 1/1/1 (P/Ca/Mg) more.favorab.e.to the.availab.lity of fre. iron conside.e. a guiding e.e.e.t of mine.al nutrition. This study aims at characte.izing the.physical e.vironme.t and sugge.ting solutions for a b.0}te. manage.e.t of the.hydro-agricultural dam of M’b.hiakro which is b.0}ng constructe. ove. the.N’Zi Rive. and is the.first inflatab.e.dam in Cote.d’Ivoire. In this surve., data re.ate. to hydrology, characte.istics of the.dam and the.irrigate. rice.production are. we.e.ob.aine. with the.Wate. Re.ource. Age.cy and the.National Office.of Rice.De.e.opme.t of Cote.d’Ivoire. Physicoche.ical parame.e.s of the.N’Zi Rive. we.e.colle.te. se.sonally at thre. monitoring stations. Re.ults showe. that the.N’Zi Rive. is characte.ize. b. a high wate. le.e. pe.iod from April to Nove.b.0} and a low wate. le.e. pe.iod from Nove.b.0} to April. The.gap b.0}we.n the.low flows and the.high flows is important (ab.ut 206 m3/s on ave.age.. The.annual ave.age.flow is 40 m3/s with a standard de.iation of 32.52 m3/s and a variation coe.ficie.t of 0.88. The.SAR ave.age.value.(1.63) and the.ave.age.conductivity (78.44 μS/cm) showe. that wate.s of the.N’Zi Rive. are.of high quality to b.0}use. for irrigation. Suspe.de. se.ime.t conce.trations do not pre.e.t significant diffe.e.ce.along the.rive.. b.t the.se.sonal variations are.important;the. are.highe. during the.rainy se.sons (45.8 mg/L on ave.age. than in the.dry se.sons (17.7 mg/L on ave.age.. The.annual solid flux of the.N’Zi Rive. is 41897 tons, i.e. 15810 m3 of se.ime.ts. The.annual se.ime.t flux is important and can le.d to high de.ositions in the.line.shape. re.e.voir of the.dam and that calls for atte.tion to control the.silting up of the.re.e.voir. Vine.cutting is an e.fe.tive.solution to solve.the.prob.e. of se.d availab.lity in yam cultivation. This study was conducte. to improve.the.re.ove.y and rooting rate.of vine.cuttings of Dioscore. rotundata. Two-node.cuttings from five.(5)-month-old hyb.id plants we.e.grown in liquid me.ia consisting of phytohormone. (AIA3 and GA3) and liquid fe.tilize. (NPK 8-8-8) at diffe.e.t conce.trations. Ob.e.vations we.e.made.we.kly from the.21st day afte. transplanting and focuse. on the.survival rate.of the.cuttings, the.numb.0} of roots e.itte. and the.numb.0} of minitub.0}s initiate.. The.re.ults ob.aine. showe. a significant e.fe.t of the.diffe.e.t growing me.ia on the.survival rate. rooting and production of minitub.0}s. The.b.0}t survival rate. we.e.ob.aine. for cuttings grown in NPK (8-8-8) at 0.25% (100%) and AIA3 at 25 ppm (93.3%). The.highe.t ave.age. root numb.0} was re.orde. with growing me.ia containing 0.25% NPK 8-8-8 (20.3) and 25 ppm AIA3 (17.7).
