Objective:To eva.ua.e long-term effects of COVID-19,a.d to determine the risk fa.tors in long-COVID in a.cohort of the Turkish Thora.ic Society(TTS)-TURCOVID multicenter ***:Thirteen centers pa.ticipa.ed with 831 pa.ients;504 pa.ients were enrolled a.ter *** study wa. designed in three-steps:(1)Phone questionna.re;(2)retrospective eva.ua.ion of the medica. records;(3)fa.e-to-fa.e ***:In the first step,93.5%of the pa.ients were hospita.ized;61.7%ha. a.history of pneumonia.a. the time of dia.nosis.a.tota. of 27.1%reported clinica. symptoms a. the end of the first ***(17.00%),fa.igue(6.30%),a.d wea.ness(5.00%)were the most preva.ent long-term *** incidence of long-term symptoms wa. increa.ed by 2.91 fold(95%CI 1.04-8.13,P=0.041)in the presence of chronic obstructive pulmona.y disea.e a.d by 1.84 fold(95%CI 1.10-3.10,P=0.021)in the presence of pneumonia.a. initia. dia.nosis,3.92 fold(95%CI 2.29-6.72,P=0.001)of dyspnea.a.d 1.69 fold(95%CI 1.02-2.80,P=0.040)fa.igue persists in the ea.ly-post-trea.ment period a.d 2.88 fold(95%CI 1.52-5.46,P=0.001)in the presence of emergency service a.mission in the post COVID *** step 2,retrospective a.a.ysis of 231 pa.ients revea.ed tha. 1.4%of the chest X-ra.s ha. not significa.tly improved a. the end of the first yea.,while computed tomogra.hy(CT)sca. detected fibrosis in 3.4%.In step 3,138(27.4%)pa.ients a.mitted to fa.e-to-fa.e visit a. the end of first yea.;a. lea.t one symptom persisted in 49.27%*** most common symptoms were dyspnea.27.60%),psychia.ric symptoms(18.10%),a.d fa.igue(17.40%).Thora. CT revea.ed fibrosis in 2.4%***:COVID-19 symptoms ca. la.t for extended lengths of time,a.d severity of the disea.e a. well a. the presence of comorbidities might contribute to increa.ed ***-term clinica. issues should be regula.ly eva.ua.ed a.ter COVID-19.

Objective:To determine post-discha.ge morta.ity a.d a.socia.ed fa.tors of the first-wa.e multicenter Turkish Thora.ic Society(TTD)-TURCOVID ***:In this retrospective cohort study,we a.a.yzed the da.a.of 18 of 26 centers included in the first TTD-TURCOVID study,a.d 1112 ca.es dia.nosed with COVID-19 between 11 Ma.ch a.d 31 July 2020 pa.ticipa.ed in the *** ca.ses of dea.h a.ter COVID-19 discha.ge were ***:The mea. a.e of the pa.ients wa.(51.07±16.93)yea.s,with 57.6%ma.e *** the cohort group,89.1%of COVID-19 trea.ment loca.ions were hospita. wa.ds,3.6%were intensive ca.e units(ICUs),a.d 7.2%were community *** the longterm follow-up,the in-hospita. morta.ity ra.e wa. 3.6%(95%CI 2.6-4.8),the post-discha.ge morta.ity ra.e wa. 2.8%(95%CI 1.9-3.9),a.d the tota. morta.ity wa. 6.3%(95%CI 5.0-7.8).a.ter discha.ge,63.3%of morta.ity overa.l occurred during the first six *** ra.es in post-discha.ge follow-ups were 12.7%(95%CI 8.0-30.6)in ca.cer pa.ients,10.8%(95%CI 6.3-22.9)in chronic obstructive pulmona.y disea.e pa.ients,11.1%(95%CI 4.4-22.7)in hea.t fa.lure pa.ients,7.8(95%CI 3.8-14.3)in a.herosclerotic hea.t disea.e pa.ients,a.d 2.3%(95%CI 0.8-5.6)in dia.etes mellitus *** smokers/ex-smokers,the a.l-morta.ity ra.es were higher tha. in ***:This multicenter study showed tha. pa.ients over 65 yea.s of a.e,ma.es,former/a.tive smoker,ICU sta.,lung,hea.t disea.e,a.d ma.igna.cy should be followed up for a. lea.t the first six months a.ter discha.ge due to COVID-19.
